White House Claims 233,000 Jobs Added

According to the White House 233,000 jobs have been added.
Really? According to latest figures the number of people in the work force fell from 132.9 million jobs in December to 130.4 million workers in January. Is that what they mean when people talk of ‘fuzzy’ math? According to my math that’s about 1.2 million jobs that went away.

The highest job unemployment was under George W. Bush was 7.3%. The average was 5.2%. Care to put that up against Obama’s unemployment numbers? Ah, yes –‘Hope and Change’ we can believe in. He just wants us to give him 4 more years to finish the job.

Justice Ginsburg Calls U.S. Constitution a Bad Example

U.S. (liberal) Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg recently told an interviewer on Egyptian TV that they should use the United States Constitution as a model for their constitution. She felt the constitution should focus more on human rights.

Ginsburg said, , “I would not look to the US Constitution if I were drafting a Constitution in the year 2012.” Instead, Justice Ginsburg referred to the constitutions of more supposedly progressive countries, like South Africa, Canada, and the European Convention on Human Rights.

She stated, “I can’t speak about what the Egyptian experience should be, because I’m operating under a rather old constitution.” She obviously believes the U.S. Constitution is no longer relevant today. Odd; coming from someone who has sworn to uphold and defend that Constitution. May I remind the (somewhat less than, in my opinion) Honorable Ms. Bader Ginsburg that she took an oath, swearing to uphold and defend the constitution of the United States. It is not her job to twist and bend the Constitution of the United States to fit her liberal beliefs.

Her job isn’t to pick and choose which parts of the Constitution should or should not be upheld.

Any problems we have aren't the fault of or any lacking on the part of our United States Constitution. It was well thought out and drafted at a time when we were subservient to the King and under tyranny. The founders did an incredible job of drafting the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights. The problem is NOT with the document, but rather Supreme Court Justices who want to find and interpret things that aren’t in it and ignore those things that are in it.

This gives us all an insight into the mind of a liberal United States Supreme Court Justice. I should add that I don’t want to see a Conservative Justice take the same path. The U.S. Constitution is what it is. Don’t take ‘artistic license’ with it. If we’re going ignore it and interpret it on a whim; we may as well roll the hemp that it was printed on and smoke it. Whoa, Dude! Where’s my Constitution?

Marco Rubio On Target

Is Israel Planning On Striking Iran?

Washington Post columnist David Ignatius says U.S. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta is worried Israel is planning on striking Iran’s nuclear facilities.
Ignatius, who was traveling with Panetta at the time, says Panetta believes it isn’t years away but months away.

According to Ignatius Panetta believes it could be as soon as April, May or June.

Israel is surrounded by enemies (and is probably wondering if the U.S., under the Obama administration is one of them) and one of them is a whack-job who not only is trying to build a nuclear program, but has made it clear it’s imperative from their standpoint to wipe Israel off the map.

Israel has been in similar situations before and acted swiftly and decisively to neutralize the threat. I don’t believe many people doubt that the Israelis aren’t justifiably concerned about the situation and certainly have the military option on table.

There are a few things that must be factored in, however. For one, they would have to know where the facilities are hidden under ground. Two, they would have to have something akin to the MOP (Massive Ordnance Penetrator – bunker-busting bomb). The MOP is a 30,000 pound bomb that Panetta told the Wall Street Journal has some kinks that need to be worked out, yet.

It’s not likely the Obama administration is particularly keen on providing one to Israel. That would mean Israel would have to come up with another plan. They would also pretty much be on their own since Obama isn’t likely to offer and help for fear he would be perceived unfavorably by the Russians or Iran – two countries we can certainly count on to have our best interest at heart, don’t ya know.

This all leads me to question why Panetta would pass his concerns on to a journalist – knowing it would certainly be published for Iran, God and the whole world to see. The noted Chinese general, Sun Tzu is credited with authoring one of the most well-known combat strategy books of all time – The Art of War.

In his book he speaks of planning, deception and indirect attack. I rather doubt Sun Tzu would fancy letting an enemy – and make no mistake, contrary to what President Obama would say, Iran is an enemy of the U.S. and certainly an enemy of Israel know they were planning an attack in the very near future. Perhaps it’s deception on Panetta’s part – designed to make Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad believe he has a few month before he has to be concerned.

Another possibility could be Obama thinks Israel is off the reservation and wants to publicly tip their hand, believing Israel will abandon the plan, now that any planning they have invested into the attack and any deception, i.e., if and when they were planning such an attack has been blown, compliments of their ‘good friend’, the U.S., via Panetta.

What I do know is if Panetta’s statements weren’t given with the full knowledge of Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu we can assume he’s quite put out with us and any musings about the U.S. being an ally that could be counted on to watch their back has now become a metaphorical knife in the back. But that’s just me.

According to Judicial watch the charges for the aircraft and crew alone for First Lady Michelle Obama’s South Africa trip to Botswana in June cost $424,142.00
You and I need to tighten our belts though, according to the President.

The trip included transportation for the 21 family and staff members. Those costs aren’t included in the $424,142.00 price tag.

The information obtained by Judicial Watch, via a FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) request also noted that the President and Michelle’s two daughters were listed on the manifest as well as Mrs. Obama’s mother and niece and nephew.

The information was only divulged after Judicial Watch filed suit.

The Obamas remind me of a care giver that exploits the person they’re hired to care for, hoping the patient doesn’t die before they’ve taken every dime from them.

Dirty Politics From Chicago, Again? Who Knew?

Once again it appears that bastion of forthrightness is at it, again.
In tactics reminiscent of ACORN, HOPE, a not-for-profit organization in Chicago is accused of paying people to attend protests that backed the closing of public schools. Can I just say this isn’t exactly shocking news? Chicago has pretty much been the gold-standard when it comes to dishonesty and crooked politics. The fact isn’t arguable. They have given us a long list of examples of less-than-stellar individuals including, dare I say it? I must, I must; Obama, ‘Blago’, Mayor Dailey and a list of names too long to mention. The only true way of determining if a person is dead is to find them registered as a Democrat in Chicago.

Two men claimed they were offered money and provided signs with no idea what they were actually protesting. Sound familiar? It should. It’s the same tactics ACORN used when getting signatures to vote for Obama. Remember their motto… ‘Vote early and vote often’.

To add insult to injury one of the men said they didn’t pay him his other $25.00. I can’t believe he was surprised. They were dealing with Chicago community organizers, after all.

Both men told the Chicago Sun-Times they had no idea what the rally was about but they were promised money to show up and weren’t told till the last minute what it would be for.

Thaddeus Scott said he was promised $50.00 to speak at the rally. He claimed he was stiffed out of $25.00 but doesn’t even want their ‘dirty money’, now that he knows what it was all about.

Of course the Rev. Roosevelt Watkins III of HOPE has a little different take. He says Scott wasn’t given the other $25.00 because he publicly revealed that he was compensated for speaking at the hearing. Why the audacity of Thaddeus to stoop to the level of being honest! I’m appalled!

The Rev says he was paying them money to attend “training”. Well, that’s more like it. For a moment there I thought he was being deceptive. Watkins told the Chicago Sun-Times, “What we do – so you can hear it from the horse’s mouth (somehow it was the other end of the horse that came to mind when I read this story) is we provide training because we engage community activists (there’s that term, again) to participate in things such as health care, affordable housing, safety. Those things. So we do training on community organizing.”

Where have we heard that term, ‘community organizing’ before? Oh, yes, Obama and ACORN. Wonder where HOPE gets their money to pay the ‘community organizers’.

Instead, our blamer-in-chief launched into a diatribe about how he was not happy with the way he was portrayed in Gov. Brewer's book. Gov. Brewer said, "It is what it is." and stated the President is "thin-skinned".

After a lengthy conversation on the tarmack in Arizona, the President turned his back on Gov. Brewer and walked away while she was still talking to him.

Obama’s speech summarized

If you opted not to suffer through the bovine flatulence of Obama’s campaign speech, thinly disguised as a ‘State of the Union’ speech, I’ll summarize it for you.

Everything that he and his cronies have done to destroy this great nation and the economy was somehow blamed on Republicans. Like the Wizard of OZ Obama wants us to ignore what we know to be true – what we’ve watched him do and just, “Ignore that man behind the curtain!”

He railed about companies moving overseas and outsourcing jobs overseas. Yet, this President has done exactly that.

His catch phrase for the evening was, “Send me that bill and I’ll sign it right now.” Of course he will, so long as it serves to weaken America.

I love the one where he said, “Send me a bill that creates jobs.” Why? He’s had several bills that would do just that but he wants no part of it. His idea of creating jobs is to appoint another czar who goes through no form vetting and has no accountability.

Naturally, he had his cronies who clapped at everything he said – especially when he spoke of irresponsible banks who gave bad loans. No excuses and no bailouts, he claims.
He informed his groupies that those days are over!

It was his ilk who caused this mess. Barney Frank, Christopher Dodd and Charlie Rangle are just a few names that come to mind. If I may be so crass… Obama could have farted and said, “pull my finger” and they would have gave their rock star a standing ovation.

He says he will hold those accountable who used fraud in the mortgage mess. He will need go no further than most of the members of his own Cabinet and his cronies.

I could go on but you get the picture. This was nothing short of a campaign speech filled with incredible lies and rhetoric. He says, “The American people know what the truth is.” Exactly, but he refuses to listen because he knows more than us.

Obama needs to be a one-term President. Vote in November to see that he is.

Misguided student with no class skip class

Tucson, AZ

100 misguided high school students walk out of class in Tucson

Approximately 100 Cholla High Magnet School students walked out of class and walked about 4 miles to TUSD (Tucson Unified School District) headquarters to protest the elimination of Mexican American Studies course there.

‘Mexican American Studies’ is code for, anti-American rhetoric and racism studies for the young skulls full of mush. TUSD was ordered to eliminate the course when it was found to violate state laws that prohibits overthrow of the government (ours), racism (the course pushed an agenda that suggested America stole Arizona from Mexico – untrue and solidarity for a particular race. As a matter of fact La Raza means, the race.

Photos of protesting students showed one young Latino with a red bandana over his face, pumping his fist in the air, ala Che Guevara, that fine individual so popular with revolutionaries and the Hollywood left. You know, the one responsible for raping and murdering his own people.

We heard quotes from protestors saying, despite a court order to eliminate or lose about $15 million in state funding, this was not going to stop them. They promised something ‘big’ is going to happen on the 15th. When asked if that was a threat the response was, “Yes!”

TUSD assistant superintendent Lupita Cavazos-Garcia is quoted as saying, “We wanted to let the students know that we care about them and their education, and we’re trying to make sound decision.”

Here’s a news flash for you, Ms. Cavazos-Garcia – you can start by giving them what us taxpayers are paying for – a REAL education and not a radical indoctrination. The Mexican American Studies course had nothing to do with helping kids prepare themselves for going out into the job market. What it did was teach them the same basic principles that our current ‘blamer-in-chief’ exposes, that they can’t make it because Americans are giving them a raw deal. The only thing the classes taught them was hatred, how to wear a red bandana with your fist pumped in the air, how to skip class without consequences and how to take part in mob mentality in the face of a court order (again, without consequences. We wouldn’t want to appear to be racist for enforcing the same rules that would be enforced if it were Asian, Indian, black or white students doing the same).

Let’s be clear… They had no class to begin with. These kids have been coached by adult teachers and La Raza leaders and would be more than happy to protest the closing of a buggy whip factory if it would get them out of class and in front of TV cameras.

The Arizona Daily Star article said it was not clear if the students would face consequences or not. Let me help you out – NO, they won’t. They have learned from past experience that they won’t. There are too many prominent leaders in the Mexican-heritage community who would bring even more charges of racism if that were to happen. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

This has nothing to do with racism and it’s time we start holding people accountable. The race card is always played when folks find out we know the facts. Suddenly those who bring up legitimate questions and concerns are faced with defending themselves against charges of racism instead of dealing with the facts. I, for one am unwilling to get pulled into that ploy.

The facts are what they are and it’s time we start holding people accountable – including teachers who coach these kids to engage in these acts.

Put me in charge of Medicaid. The first thing I'd do
is to get women Norplant birth control implants or tubal ligations.
Then, we'll test recipients for drugs, alcohol, and nicotine and

drugs, alcohol, smoke or get tats and piercings, then get a job.

Put me in charge of government housing. Ever live in a military barracks?

You will maintain our property in a clean and good
state of repair. Your "home" will be subject to inspections anytime and
possessions will be inventoried. If you want a plasma TV or Xbox 360,
then get a job and your own place.

In addition, you will either present a check stub from
a job each week or you will report to a "government" job. It may be

the common good..

Before you write that I've violated someone's rights,
realize that all of the above is voluntary. If you want our money,
accept our rules.. Before you say that this would be "demeaning" and
ruin their "self esteem," consider that it wasn't that long ago that
taking someone else's money for doing absolutely nothing was demeaning
and lowered self esteem.

If we are expected to pay for other people's mistakes
we should at least attempt to make them learn from their bad choices.
The current system rewards them for continuing to make bad choices.

AND While you are on Govt subsistence, you no longer
can VOTE! Yes that is correct. For you to vote would be a conflict of
interest. You will voluntarily remove yourself from voting while you are
receiving a Govt welfare check. If you want to vote, then get a job.

Calls For Tougher Gun Laws Following Killing Of Park Ranger

The suspect in the killing of a Mount Rainier National Park Ranger has been found dead, face-down in the snow, according to an Associated Press story.

Although identification of the body has yet to be confirmed, it is believed that the body is that of 24-year-old Benjamin Colton Barnes.

Much has been made of Barnes being an Iraq veteran, supposedly suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome (PTSD), after deploying to Iraq from 2007-2008. The mother of his child said in a signed affidavit that Barnes got easily irritated, angry and depressed and kept an arsenal of weapons in his home. Hopefully, Pima County Sheriff, Clarence Dupnik doesn’t come out claiming ‘Right-wing’ radio, Rush Limbaugh and the Tea Party forced him to do it.

Let’s be clear – PTSD is a very real thing. It was generally associated with returning Viet Nam vets but we’re hearing more and more reports of returning Iraq vets suffering from the disorder. It is my hope that these men and women, as well as those Viet Nam vets who preceded them, be given REAL help from the Veterans Administration and not JUST drugs to make them go away.

My problem with this story, aside from the obvious, that innocent people died is how the loons want to spin the story. I can see it already – ‘Returning Iraq vet goes on shooting rampage.’ The inference being all returning combat vets should be suspect and considered ‘ticking time-bombs’, just waiting to go off.

There are many thousands of combat vets in our midst who are very well adjusted and not a threat to society. The fact that something like this is a big news story when it happens is a testament to how rare these instances are.

While we’re on the subject of ‘spin’… Bill Wade, the outgoing chair of the Coalition of National Park Service Retirees, is quoted in the AP article as saying Congress should be regretting its decision to allow loaded weapons in national parks. It is his hope that Congress will reconsider the law that took effect in early 2010.

Illogical, reactionary claims, like that of Wades aren’t exactly new. As a matter-of-fact we can count on hearing more of them, ala: Gabby Giffords syndrome. There are those, like Wade who probably believe the nonsense they’re asserting. There are others who subscribe to the Rahm Emanuel school of thought that claims, “Never let crisis go to waste.” They will claim this tragedy as a nexus for tougher gun laws.

Who in their right mind believes Barnes was anything BUT in his right mind? Is there anyone but these anti-gun fanatics who believes this whack-job really gave whether it was illegal to carry a loaded firearm into Mount Rainier?

The park gets estimated 1.5 million and 2 million visitors to the park each year, according to the article. Let’s do the math on that one, shall we? That computes out to 3 million to 4 million people since the law permitted carrying of loaded firearms in the park 2 years ago. One nut job out of 3 million to 4 million visitors who certainly didn’t put whether it was or wasn’t legal to carry a loaded or not in the park. Let me see if I have this correct, Bill – Barnes had no qualms about wounding four people earlier in the day and murdering a National Park Ranger but you believe a law prohibiting him from carrying a loaded firearm into the park would have prevented this tragedy. Do I have that about right? Do you have any idea how illogical that sounds?

There will always be people who either honestly erroneously believe that a gun law will prevent tragedies like this from happening or others who will use them to exploit in an effort to get stricter gun laws. Both factions must be seen for what they are and challenged.

There are those who actually believe we can simply pass gun laws, ban firearms and the world will become a utopian world where no one will ever have to fear violence of any form. I have one thing to say to those folks – you’re stupid! If you think cops carry a firearm to protect you, you’re equally stupid. Cops carry a firearm to protect themselves; not YOU. Does that tell you anything? Probably not.

My suggestion is to take a course in, LOGIC 101 and see if your statements make any sense at all before your blurt them out.

Was Fraud Used In Indiana County To Get Obama On The Ballot?

There are some folks in a Indiana county that are more than a bit peeved to find out their signatures were forged on a petition to get Obama on the ballot.

Seems St. Joseph County Board of Voter Registration worker Dustin Blythe has been identified as having identical handwriting to the forged signatures.

When asked about the fact the signatures were forged and the handwriting matched his, Blythe said, "No comment."

There is no doubt in my mind that the 2008 Presidential election was the most corrupt in American history.

NAACP Claims Minority Vote Is Being Suppressed In Upcoming Election

The nation’s largest civil rights organization is claiming foul and it’s taking its case to the United Nations. I guess “There ain’t no cure for the summertime blues” when it comes to the NAACP.

As Rush Limbaugh says, “It should be called the NAALCP – The National Association of LIBERAL colored people.” Why is that, you ask? Because they only defend LIBERAL black – not Conservative blacks. We saw how the NAACP took Conservative blacks like Clearance Thomas and Herman Cain to task. They were accused of being sellouts and “Uncle Toms”.

The NAACP claims individual states in the U.S. are making a concerted effort to prevent the black vote from getting out in the upcoming 2012 Presidential election, citing a whole plethora of new voting laws at the state level. They say 14 states passed 25 measures “designed to restrict or limit the ballot access of voters of color.”

So, what are these new proposed draconian laws and how will they prevent ‘voters of color’ from voting? The proposed laws, largely passed by Republican-dominated legislatures include such egregious things as requirement to present photo ID at the polls, voting restrictions of felons and limitations on registration and early voting periods.

Does anyone remember how Al Franken was elected? I’ll refresh your memory. Ultra Liberal Al Franken demanded a recount of the votes. The recount went on for months. Every time they would recount the votes, Franken would amazingly get more votes and his opponent, Coleman, wouldn’t. Statistically realistic? Not so much.

Anyway, Franken eeked ahead of Coleman and was declared the winner and sworn in just prior to a critical vote needed by the Democrats. Oh, by-the-way, it was later determined that Franken really wasn’t the winner because he was pushed over by a number of felon voters who weren’t eligible to vote. They said it was tough, though because he’d already been sworn in.

How ‘bout the shenanigans of ACORN? Voter fraud, you ask? Just a LOT! How about voter intimidation at polling places by members of the New Black Panther movement? Well, sure, but it was important to make sure America’s ‘first black President’ was elected. BTW, his mother is white. Like, OMG!, as they say in texting vernacular.

Of course our U.S. Attorney General, Eric Holder refuses to prosecute those members of the New Black Panther Movement for standing outside a polling place, openly holding night sticks in their hands, intimidating voters going into the poling place. Eric Holder has a track record of not prosecuting a number of folks that he believes to be for the betterment of our current administration. He allegedly claims that he is black, first and U.S. Attorney General, second. If he believes that way, he’s certainly convinced me.

Well the NAACP is certainly not going to stand for such measures. They intend on arguing their case before the UN. Guys, I have a news flash for you… The UN has no authority over individual states in the U.S.; at least not yet. Obama and the Dems would like to change that, however. You see they want to change any and all rules to keep them in power, without regard to consequences.

I liken them to a collaborator in war. They think they will be looked upon favorably if anything bad happens. Of course nothing bad could happen as long as they keep those dumb ol’ Republicans out of office. And Obama will be re-elected because he has his record to run on. Wait, maybe the Dems do have a problem, after all.

The Tea Party folks were accused of being racist, yet there was no evidence of them being racist at all, albeit I’m sure you could find an isolated case if you looked long and hard enough. Those instances would be antidotal at best.

The Tea Party left things at least as clean or cleaner wherever they were and even had to pay for permits. Not so with the OWS folks. They have taken over public places, left bowel movements on cop cars and in the streets, raped and murdered and have offered up an insane list of demands and still the liberals, including Obama and Nancy Pelosi want to “thank God” for them. There were no cops injured by the Tea Party folks. The same can’t be said of the ‘Occupy’ human debris.

Arizona wildfires linked to illegal immigrants

According to a Capitol Media Services story by Howard Fischer, "nearly 40% percent of wildfires on federal land in Southern Arizona" were caused by illegal border crossers. Who knew?

There are other fires that haven't been investigated yet which could cause the number of the 30 out of 77 fires to go even higher.

I remember a few months ago when Senator John McCain was criticized for suggesting such a thing. Looks like he knew what he was talking about after all.

Yep, "Just doing those jobs us Americans don't want to do".

There are many fine people in the U.S. who immigrated from other countries, including Mexico. I have to believe these folks are as upset with this kind of behavior as I am. Not everyone here from other countries condone this kind of behavior. Not everyone who is of Mexican decent is flying a U.S. flag upside down or burning it, either. Unfortunately those people who do are the ones who get the press.

My advice would be to get out of the U.S. if you think your country is better. But that's just me.

It seems Phil is accusing the U.S. of dumping HIS criminals at the Mexican border because it’s cheaper than prosecuting them in the U.S. and causing violence in Mexican border areas.

Get a clue, Phil – they are your citizens! They were criminals and violent BEFORE they illegally entered the U.S.

The most eye-opening civics lesson I ever had was while teaching third grade this year...

The presidential election was heating up and some of the children showed an interest. I decided we would have an election for a class president.

We would choose our nominees.. They would make a campaign speech and the class would vote. To simplify the process, candidates were nominated by other class members.

We discussed what kinds of characteristics these students should have.
We got many nominations and from those, Jamie and Olivia were picked to run for the top spot.

The class had done a great job in their selections. Both candidates were good kids. I thought Jamie might have an advantage because he got lots of parental support. I had never seen Olivia's mother.

The day arrived when they were to make their speeches. Jamie went first.
He had specific ideas about how to make our class a better Place.
He ended by promising to do his very best.

Everyone applauded and he sat down.

Now is was Olivia's turn to speak. Her speech was concise. She said, "If you will vote for me, I will give you ice cream." She sat down. The class went wild. "Yes! Yes! We want ice cream." She surely would say more. She did not have to.

A discussion followed. How did she plan to pay for the ice cream? She wasn't sure. But no one pursued that question. They took her at her word. Would her parents buy it or would the class pay for it... She didn't know.

The class really didn't care. All they were thinking about was ice cream...

Jamie was forgotten.. Olivia won by a landslide.

Texas High School students forced to recite Mexican National Anthem and Pledge of Allegiance
Last month students at Achieve Early High School in McAllen, Texas were required to recite the Mexican National Anthem and Pledge of Allegiance as part of their intermediate Spanish class. Let me be clear, the school is part of a public high school; not some privately funded institution.
According to the school district it was part of a Spanish class assignment and there was nothing wrong with the lesson.

Each student stood up, wearing Mexican National colors of red, white and green and recited the Mexican anthem and pledge they had to memorize individually. Each student but one, that is. 15-year-old Brenda Brinsdon refused to participate. She also caught it all on video. Apparently Brenda wasn’t keen on being forced to wear another country’s national colors and being forced to recite that foreign country’s national anthem and pledge of allegiance. Good for Brenda.
One can only wonder if Mexico requires their students to wear red, white and blue while reciting the U.S. pledge of allegiance and U.S. national anthem.

Young Brenda correctly noted that “Reciting pledges to Mexico and being loyal to it has nothing to do with learning Spanish.” Ya think? “Why are we doing their (Mexico’s) Independence when it’s Freedom Week and it’s also Constitution Day?” Brinsdon said. Good question, Brenda. Other students (sheeple) continued to make their presentations like good little subjects. The presentations took place over the course of several days. I don’t recall any schools in the U.S. requiring this same level of participation in the course of one day – let alone several days.

A local news organization, The Blaze cited district spokesperson, Mark May as saying, “In my mind it’s no different from memorizing a poem or memorizing a passage from Shakespeare.” I’m certain May would have no problem with the students dressing up as American patriots and reciting the 2nd Amendment. I know I certainly would have no problem with it.

According to May, “It’s up to the teacher how to interpret and teach the standards.” Really? I wonder if Mark would feel the same if the teacher taught a civics class from the perspective of U.S. citizens who are here legally.

May claims, “The students came away with a better understanding of the culture, heritage and customs of a neighboring country where Spanish is the primary language.” He added that the lesson was well received by the other students and parents. By whom; the Mexicans, the teacher and Mark May? Apparently Brenda was the only one in the class who has a functioning brain and wasn’t willing to buy into the bravo sierra. I’m sure Communism was well received by party leaders in Russia, too. Those who didn’t buy into it didn’t live long. Come to think of it, those who disagree with the Mexican drug cartels don’t live long, either.

May went on to opine, “There’s always going to be people [sic] that always feel a little bit differently.” That’s true, Mark. They’re called thinkers and they are quickly chastised and vilified in your world and in the media. When they raise legitimate questions, they are accused of spreading vitriol.

Make no mistake, these kids aren’t getting an education, they’re getting indoctrination.

The Democrats were just handed more crushing defeats in New York and in Nevada.

In New York, Republican Bob Turner gave a ‘shellacking’ to Democrat David Weprin in a district that hasn’t had a Republican since the 1920s! The Democrats claim it isn’t a referendum on Obama, though.

How much more in denial can one party be?? Of course it’s a referendum against Obama. The two elections were local but it’s about the continuous discontent of the people against liberal policies.

When people are out of a job and losing their homes liberal bravo sierra will only carry you so far.

And now the latest foolishness from our narcissist-in-chief.

While addressing a crowd at North Carolina University the man who never met a mirror he didn’t like said the following, regarding the so-called Jobs Bill that he has yet to provide: “If you love me, you’ve got to help me pass this bill.” No, I’m not joking. I don’t make political jokes – We already have one in the White House.

He went on to tell them that their homework assignment was to “tell your Congress person that the time for gridlock and games is over; the time for action is now.” The gridlock and games would be over, Mr. President if you and your party would stop trying to get Conservatives to aid and abet you in destroying the economy. Compromise doesn’t mean giving up your principals and allow Liberals to do even more damage and give them the opportunity to claim it was bipartisan.

The huge pile of paper that Obama claims is his job stimulus bill has been gone over and it’s nothing but a retread of every other worthless bill he’s come up with. “The rich need to pay their fair share.” Even though they pay most of the taxes and the bottom 45% don’t pay a dime. He wants even more stimulus money (in the face of about a $half billion dollars that was given to Solyndrum, the solar panel company that just filed for bankruptcy and no one knows where the money went.

While on that subject, they actually had the nerve to, you guessed it, try to blame George Bush for that one, too. In 2006 the company applied for a loan while Bush was President. The loan was halted when they found several problems with the company.

Six days after Obama was elected he fast-tracked the loan and went before the cameras (One of his favorite places) and touted the stimulus money given to the company and all the jobs he created. Ehhhhh, not so much.

He just gave another one of his rare speeches where he says there are 153 “structurally deficient” bridges that need to be repaired. The crowd went into applause as he mused, “Why would we wait to act until another bridge fails?”

To quote Bill O’Reilly, “I’m a simple man.” Maybe you can explain to this simple man what the heck you did with the first $Trillion dollars of what you called stimulus money. Wasn’t that suppose to go for bridge repair and other infrastructure projects? Secondly, if you know there are 153 ‘structurally deficient bridges’, why aren’t you closing them? Are we to believe that you’re holding people hostage and allowing them to drive on unsafe bridges unless you get your pathetic excuse for a jobs bill passed?

Instead of going to your same old tired habit of throwing out numbers, like all the jobs your last stimulus bill created in Arizona Congressional districts that don’t exist, how ‘bout giving us the names of the 153 bridges?
More than likely many of the bridges are in the 51-57 additional states of the union that Obama spoke of or the several additional Arizona Congressional districts over and above the 8 we actually have.

Obama is a fake and a fraud who is in way over his head but his ego won’t allow him to accept it. He won’t quit so it’s up to the voters to fire him in 2012.

Each time I watch the television and hear the liberal pundits and politicians spew, what can only be described as blatant dishonesty, I find myself asking myself, “Are they really that stupid? Do they really think we’re that stupid? Or are these pompous paragons of disinformation and misinformation fully cognizant of the lies they’re telling and of the damage they’re causing the country but prefer to put party over country?

They continue to keep telling us the so-called stimulus didn’t work because we just didn’t give them more money. And the only reason the alcoholic wasn’t cured was because we just didn’t give them enough liquor to drink.

I do not believe in enabling these people. Admitting you have a problem is the first step in curing yourself. These people don’t realize they have a problem. They don’t realize they are the problem. Anyone who has a substantive disagreement with Obama’s policies is called a racist. May I remind folks that his mother was white and race has nothing to do with making bad (make that, horrible) policies.

Given the extent they go to in order to hide details from the rest of us who have a functioning brain with the ability to use logic and reason, I can only assume they know they’re trying to pull one over on the American Public.

I’ve know a few decent used car sales people so I won’t belittle them by comparing Obama and his ilk to a used car salesman. It wouldn’t be fair to the used car sales folks.

The President’s speech was exactly that – another political speech.
He actually had the unmitigated gall to say Congress needs to “stop the political circus and actually do something to help the economy.”

Really? Really, Mr. President. You are the ring leader of the circus and couldn’t find your butt or an effective jobs plan with both hands and a hunting dog. You are the architect of this mess. The President sent a note to his supporters asking them to put pressure on Congress to pass his plan "or hold them accountable if they do not." WHAT PLAN, Mr. Obama?? You don't have a plan. All you have is more bravo sierra campaign speeches. If you had a plan you would have already had it in writing for the Congress to look at. YOU DON'T HAVE A PLAN! You want Congress to be stupid enough to pass your imaginary plan and then you'll tell them what it is afterward.

While White House spokesman Jay Carney was being interviewd on the O'Reilly Factor he made what may have been a Freudian slip. Apparently O'Reilly didn't catch it but I did. I went back to review the tape.

At 6:48 into the interview the poor lad was so flustered that he actually said, “The President has always said we need to put party ahead of country.”

History Unfolding
I am a student of history. Professionally, I have written 15 books on
history that have been published in six languages, and I have studied
history all my life. I have come to think there is something
monumentally large afoot, and I do not believe it is simply a banking
crisis, or a mortgage crisis, or a credit crisis. Yes these exist, but
they are merely single facets on a very large gemstone that is only
now coming into a sharper focus..

Something of historic proportions is happening. I can sense it because
I know how it feels, smells, what it looks like, and how people react

We demand and then codify into law the requirement that our banks make

is $2,000,000,000,000) over the past few months, but will not tell us
to whom or why or disclose the terms. That is our money. Yours and
mine. And that is three times the $700 billion we all argued about so
strenuously just this past September. Who has this money? Why do they
have it? Why are the terms unavailable to us? Who asked for it? Who
authorized it? I thought this was a government of "we the people," who
loaned our powers to our elected leaders. Apparently not.

We have spent two or more decades intentionally de-industrializing our
economy... Why?

We have intentionally dumbed down our schools, ignored our history,
and no longer teach our founding documents, why we are exceptional,
and why we are worth preserving. Students by and large cannot write,
think critically, read, or articulate. Parents are not revolting,
teachers are not picketing, school boards continue to back mediocrity.
Why?

We have now established the precedent of protesting every close
election (violently in California over a proposition that is so
controversial that it simply wants marriage to remain defined as
between one man and one woman. Did you ever think such a thing
possible just a decade ago?) We have corrupted our sacred political
process by allowing unelected judges to write laws that radically
change our way of life, and then mainstream Marxist groups like ACORN
and others to turn our voting system into a banana republic. To what
purpose?

Now our mortgage industry is collapsing, housing prices are in free
fall, major industries are failing, our banking system is on the verge
of collapse, social security is nearly bankrupt, as is Medicare and
our entire government. Our education system is worse than a joke (I
teach college and I know precisely what I am talking about) - the list
is staggering in its length, breadth, and depth.. It is potentially
1929 x ten...And we are at war with an enemy we cannot even name for
fear of offending people of the same religion, who, in turn, cannot
wait to slit the throats of your children if they have the opportunity
to do so.

And finally, we have elected a man that no one really knows anything
about, who has never run so much as a Dairy Queen, let alone a town as
big as Wasilla , Alaska .. All of his associations and alliances are
with real radicals in their chosen fields of employment, and
everything we learn about him, drip by drip, is unsettling if not
downright scary (Surely you have heard him speak about his idea to
create and fund a mandatory civilian defense force stronger than our
military for use inside our borders? No? Oh, of course. The media
would never play that for you over and over and then demand he answer
it. Sarah Palin's pregnant daughter and $150,000 wardrobe are more
important.)

Mr. Obama's winning platform can be boiled down to one word: Change. Why?

I have never been so afraid for my country and for my children as I am now.

This man campaigned on bringing people together, something he has
never, ever done in his professional life. In my assessment, Obama
will divide us along philosophical lines, push us apart, and then try
to realign the pieces into a new and different power structure. Change
is indeed coming. And when it comes, you will never see the same
nation again.

And that is only the beginning..

As a serious student of history, I thought I would never come to
experience what the ordinary, moral German must have felt in the
mid-1930s In those times, the "savior" was a former smooth-talking
rabble-rouser from the streets, about whom the average German knew
next to nothing. What they should have known was that he was
associated with groups that shouted, shoved, and pushed around people
with whom they disagreed; he edged his way onto the political stage
through great oratory. Conservative "losers" read it right now.

And there were the promises. Economic times were tough, people were
losing jobs, and he was a great speaker. And he smiled and frowned and
waved a lot. And people, even newspapers, were afraid to speak out for
fear that his "brown shirts" would bully and beat them into

taught exactly what to think. Later, they were required to do so. No

How did he get people on his side? He did it by promising jobs to the
jobless, money to the money-less, and rewards for the
military-industrial complex. He did it by indoctrinating the children,
advocating gun control, health care for all, better wages, better
jobs, and promising to re-instill pride once again in the country,
across Europe , and across the world. He did it with a compliant media
- did you know that? And he did this all in the name of justice and
... change. And the people surely got what they voted for.

If you think I am exaggerating, look it up. It's all there in the history
books.

So read your history books. Many people of conscience objected in 1933
and were shouted down, called names, laughed at, and ridiculed. When
Winston Churchill pointed out the obvious in the late 1930s while
seated in the House of Lords in England (he was not yet Prime
Minister), he was booed into his seat and called a crazy troublemaker.
He was right, though. And the world came to regret that he was not
listened to.

Do not forget that Germany was the most educated, the most cultured
country in Europe . It was full of music, art, museums, hospitals,
laboratories, and universities. And yet, in less than six years (a
shorter time span than just two terms of the U. S. presidency) it was
rounding up its own citizens, killing others, abrogating its laws,
turning children against parents, and neighbors against neighbors. All
with the best of intentions, of course. The road to Hell is paved with
them.

As a practical thinker, one not overly prone to emotional decisions, I
have a choice: I can either believe what the objective pieces of
evidence tell me (even if they make me cringe with disgust); I can
believe what history is shouting to me from across the chasm of seven
decades; or I can hope I am wrong by closing my eyes, having another
latte, and ignoring what is transpiring around me..

I choose to believe the evidence. No doubt some people will scoff at
me, others laugh, or think I am foolish, naive, or both. To some
degree, perhaps I am. But I have never been afraid to look people in
the eye and tell them exactly what I believe-and why I believe it.

I pray I am wrong. I do not think I am. Perhaps the only hope is our
vote in the next elections.

More 'Civility' from the Loons on the Left

Once again we’re being treated to a dose of civility – left-wing-loon style.

Jason Oda of Brooklyn, NY has developed a video game through his company, Starving Eyes Advertising. The game targets ‘Tea Party Zombies’ and Fox News Personalities and the idea is to kill the targets using firearms and crowbars. Apparently the crowbar is for those who like their violence up close and personal.

Isn’t it ironic that the left hates the one cable network that actually invites guests of opposing views on a regular basis?

This isn’t an anomaly for Oda – he has created videos in the past that targeted former President George W. Bush, Karl Rove, etc.

Some of Oda’s clients are reportedly firms like Pepsi, Hasbro, Sears, UPS and others. Can we expect those firms to pull their business from him in the interest of civility? I’m going to guess they won’t. Will their anticipated lack of correct response indicate they are interested in civility, only with respect to the Right?

Not one to presume too much, I intend on contacting the aforementioned firms and ask them what their official response is to Oda’s video game that clearly fantasizes about violence toward those he doesn’t agree with. Oda clearly has his tiny mind made up and wouldn’t want to be influenced by fact or any suggestion that he is a trifle warped in the head.

What Happened to the Civility the Left Spoke About?

Apparently when someone like Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa refers to the Tea Party and tells his supporters to “take these son-of-a-bitches out” it’s ok. When someone simply disagrees with the far left loons, they call it vitriol and a call goes out for civility.

Hoffa used the typical bait and switch of the left by claiming corporate-backed conservatives have started a “war” that is destroying the middle class and he was simply expressing his frustration. He went on to babble something about, he will “never apologize” for standing up for American workers…”

On the outside chance Mr. Hoffa reads my blog (Hey, it could happen), I’ll break this down in simple terms so even a moron like him and his ilk can understand. It’s corporations that donated considerable money to Obama’s campaign. It is Obama who has destroyed this nation and put unemployment at such incredibly high levels. It’s Obama and fools like you who have brought this country to it’s financial knees and left us with no hope of coming out of this mess till after the 2012 elections when Obama will be out of the White House and hopefully out of our hair for good and the healing can begin!

Mr. Hoffa isn’t “standing up for American workers”. This idiot is part of the problem – not part of the solution. He typifies the Chicago mobster mentality and he doesn’t want to see his phony baloney job end. I would opine he and many of his cronies should be in jail; not out threatening Tea Party members – many of whom are members of the union. The difference is those folks have something to gain by getting rid of Obama. It’s called prosperity, dignity and some semblance of security. Hoffa would lose his power and perks that come from your phony job.

Hoffa likes to spew vitriol and use terms like the left is so fond of using, like “anti-worker politicians”. By anti-worker I presume you mean those who aren’t as narrow-minded as the likes of you and want what’s best for the country and their families – not what’s best for Jimmy Hoffa.

In stead of admitting he made a stupid statement while trying to incite his easily influenced followers who follow without questioning the logic of his stupidity, Hoffa deflected his vitriolic statements by claiming he was merely standing up for American Workers. No, you didn’t. Your asinine statement had nothing to do with logic or standing up for American workers. They were meant to work your masses into a violent rage. Hoffa would be the one in the old western town trying to get a lynch mob into a frenzy when it was he who was one of the culprits.

White House spokesman, Jay Carney was asked if President Obama was going to condemn the vitriolic statements of Hoffa. Carney said it was Hoffa, not Obama who made the statements. True enough, but when Congresswoman Gabriella Giffords and others were shot in Tucson he and his ilk were quick to blame the Right, the Tea Party and talk radio for the senseless violence – even though the shooter had no political ties and didn’t listen to talk radio. In short – Loughner, the shooter was simply a whack-job.

Sandy Pope, one of Hoffa’s two opponents for the general presidency for the Teamsters says she sees no reason for Hoffa to apologize, either. Pope told Fox News, “I understand people want to tone things down, but no one is following those rules right now.” No one from your side, anyway, Ms. Pope.

When Democratic National Committee chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz was asked if she condemned the statements by Hoffa she refused to do so.

So, do we see a pattern here? I certainly do.

I’m tired of the double standard the left has and I’m even more tired of the Democrat party leadership who is willing to throw America under the bus, so long as it advances the liberal agenda. It’s time we hold their feet to the fire and hold them accountable.

I won’t say we need to “Take the son-of-a-bitches out.” I say we just need to vote them out. And I won’t apologize for standing up for America, Jimmy.

Summary of the President’s Upcoming Speech

I know many of you, like myself are fearful that President Obama’s speech de jour may interrupt any quality TV you might have in mind.

Fear not; I’ll summarize his speech for you:

• We need to raise taxes on the rich (of which he is among that group by his own definition) because they aren’t paying their fair share. Never mind the fact the wealthiest 1% earn only 19% of the income but pay 37% of all income taxes. The top 10% pay 68% of all taxes paid! The bottom 50% earns 13% of all income but only pays 3% of the taxes.
• We need to tighten our belts and sacrifice for the good of all – albeit the President can be counted on to not sacrifice anything for the good of all.
• We need more stimulus money for those who actually earn money to provide $millions of dollars to invest in the infrastructure to create as many as 14 jobs.

There ya go. You’re welcome.

Recently Politico (not known to be a bastion of unbiased reporting) posed the question, “Is Governor Rick Perry dumb?”

The headline was clearly intended to be inflammatory and to put Perry, ala Sarah Palin, in a bad light. It was meant to make Perry appear stupid. If Perry is stupid and Obama is brilliant I’ll take stupid over brilliant. By the way, where are Obama’s college transcripts? We’ve heard much about them but I’ve not seen them published. All of the far-left loons have no trouble finding the dirt on Perry, Bush and Palin but they are seemingly unable to find anything substantive on Obama. Inquiring minds want to know where the dirt is. Hell, they could find dirt on the Pope and Shirley Temple if it furthered their far left agenda.

I also wonder why it is (rhetorically, of course), we’ve not seen headlines asking, Is Joe Biden too dumb? It’s not exactly a secret that Biden is a human gaff factory that’s working over time.

In his recent visit to China Biden sort of got his talking points on debt a bit wrong. He claimed Americans own 85% of the U.S. Treasury securities. Wrongo, Ol’ Joe. Americans only own about 54% of the public debt.

Certainly I don’t mean to question the integrity of the left loons. OK, that’s a lie. I fully mean to question their integrity. If you’re a liberal politician and you’re scratching your head, trying to figure out what it means go to the dictionary or ask someone like Marco Rubio or Governor Christie.

As my banner states, this blog is my vehicle to vent about whatever drives me up the walls or floats my boat.

While watching coverage of the floods along the eastern coast I had to suffer through the obligatory morons who think it’s cool to continually walk back and forth behind the reporter while flashing peace signs and jumping up and down with their tongue out and their fingers in their ears while wiggling their hands. Just a thought – You don’t look cool; you look like an idiot. What a proud moment it must be to know you made a fool of yourself on national TV.

Speaking of fools…

A Mexican casino in the northern Mexican city of Monterrey was the victim of arson by gunmen. Let me correct that – the people inside the casino were the victims of arson by gunmen.

An intelligent person would perhaps be upset with the gunmen who perpetrated this attack on innocent people. We aren’t dealing with intelligent people, however. According to former Mexican President, Felipe Calderon it is the fault of firearms coming into Mexico from the U.S.

For those of you who don’t follow this, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, ATF (A carry over from prohibition days in the U.S.) spent several million dollars making sure firearms made it into the hands of the Mexican drug cartels. Then they used the flow of firearms into Mexico as the nexus for the need to have tougher gun controls in the U.S. Huh?? It is reported that two of those firearms were used in the murder of a U.S. Border Patrol officer. Eleven more deaths in the U.S. have been attributed to some of those firearms allowed to ‘walk’.

But I digress. El Presidente Calderon blames the attack, in part to the flow of firearms from the U.S. into Mexico. Apparently Calderon, in true anti-gun fashion fails to find culpability on the part of the gunmen. They had no choice but to attack the casino, set fire to it in an attack that killed 52 people. If the U.S. hadn’t allowed firearms to flow into the hands of these fun-loving folks who murder, rape and behead their enemies this never would have happened.

Given the thought process of Calderon, Obama and the rest of the anti-gun folks who want to use the 2nd Amendment for toilet paper we should let bank robbers out of prison. After all, they never would have robbed the bank if they hadn’t put the bank there in the first place. It’s not their fault. Firearms are evil and people shouldn’t be allowed to have them.

Perhaps we should disarm the police and the military and have them protect us and themselves with reason and in extreme cases – harsh language. After all, the firearms are evil. The police need those firearms because of bad people with evil intent. Apparently the rest of us don’t need to fear those same bad people.

Why are corporations leaving the U.S. and taking $Billions with them?

I just watched a 60 minutes report on U.S. corporations that have moved to places like Zug, Switzerland or Ireland in order to avoid the 35% tax rate they would have to pay here in the U.S.

Hell, yes. Why wouldn’t they? The tax rate in Zug is about 15% and about 12% in Ireland. We’re talking $billions in taxes saved. When they take their business – which may only amount to a mailbox in Zug they take thousands of jobs with them – jobs that would normally go to Americans.

The rest of the industrial world has already learned to lower their tax rates in order to lure Canadian and U.S. corporations. In fact some countries have even offered tax rates of 5% in order to woo corporations to their countries. And why wouldn’t corporations take advantage? They would be stupid not to.

Still, liberals are too sagaciously-challenged to get it. Like in New York where the mantra of liberals was always, “We’ll tax the rich more. They aren’t paying their fair share.” It sounds great if you’re a liberal and you’re talking about someone else’s money. Liberals are always great at putting someone else’s money where their mouth is.

The problem for them was rich people can live wherever they want and they simply moved to Florida or Zug or Ireland where they wouldn’t be screwed without so much as a kiss. And when they left, New York suddenly found was their was a huge vacuum in revenue that was no longer being supplied by ‘the rich’. That means you have to increase taxes on middle-income folks. It’s like Margaret Thatcher was quoted as saying: “Sooner or later you run out of other people’s money.”

Still, Obama and the rest of his band of morons continue to rant that jobs are the number one priority while at the same time doing all they can to drive them to other countries – along with the opportunity to put more Americans back to work and gain billions of dollars in revenue. You can’t get the liberal mind to understand this. It’s a character flaw they have. They simply refuse to get off their kick of blaming the so-called rich for all the ills of this nation. Liberals and their policies aren’t the solution – they’re the problem!

Another thing you find with liberal politicians is they play to the lazy and uneducated. They have found that if they simply say the rich aren’t paying their fair share they can get the uneducated to believe the lie and give them hope that somehow the liberal politician will make it right by becoming modern day Robin Hoods and taking from the rich and somehow giving it to them.

The reality is these same people offer no real solutions or their own money. On top of that the people who think their life is going to be made better find just the opposite. No worries, though. These folks suffer from battered liberal syndrome. It doesn’t matter. Their mind is made up and they aren’t about to be swayed by the facts.

The liberal ditz, Debbie Wasserman Schultz is a prime example of the embarrassment that permeates the Democratic leadership. The Democratic National Committee chair looked into the camera lens and proclaimed the Republicans have offered nothing and Obama’s numbers are in great shape.

How about a little Reality check? The Republicans passed two measures in the House but Senate leader, Harry Reid declared them to be ‘dead-on-arrival’. Meanwhile the Democrats have offered nothing. They were supposed to have a balanced budget over two and a half years ago. They’ve offered nothing! We keep hearing about the plan Obama has. No one has seen it. Nothing has been put in writing. Like the mythical unicorn; it doesn’t exist. Still we keep hearing from the Democrats about the President’s plan. What plan?? There is no plan, aside from destroying this great nation.

As for Obama’s numbers being great… Lady you must be smoking crack. His numbers are in the toilet.

Hope and change? That will happen when Obama and his subversives receive their pink slips in the general election. He will go down as the worst President in American history.

Who’s to Blame?

For the first time in history the credit rating of the U.S. has been downgraded below AAA+. That means under the ‘leadership’ (if we can call it that) of President Obama, S&P has put investors on notice that your U.S. bonds are no longer considered by them to be ‘money-in-the-bank’.

The finger-pointing and blame game has wasted no time in commencing. The obligatory, “There is plenty of blame to go around.” and “We need to work together.” is nothing more than rhetoric from people who don’t believe a word they are saying but feel they have to say it in order to seem middle-of-the-road. The fact is the conciliatory language coming from their mouths is nothing more than bravo sierra emanating from an area much lower on the anatomy.

Despite the ‘Let’s play nice and compromise’ language you’re hearing each side is convinced the other side is to blame.

The esteemed congressman from Massachusetts, John Kerry puts the blame squarely on the shoulders of the Tea Party. We have heard claims of the Tea Party being terrorists and holding the nation hostage by putting a gun to their head. I find it fascinating that the party who claims we need to tone down the rhetoric and be less vitriolic is so obsessed with using words like ‘terrorists’, ‘hostages’ and ‘putting a gun to our heads’ language every time they speak.

I think if anyone is to blame it is, in fact the President and the Democrat leadership for putting a gun to our head in order for them to get what they always have had and always will have – more money to waste on ineffectual wasteful programs. The Democrat’s view of ‘compromise’ is, “Give us more money or we’ll tell the American people that you want old people to die and you’re going to take lunch money from the mouths of children.” Every time budget comes up it’s the same rhetoric from the Democrats, “The Republicans want to take your Social Security away and we aren’t sure we can pay the military if you don’t give us more money to waste in order to keep our phony baloney jobs.” For goodness sake, how many times are people going to fall for this same old tired ploy!

Social Security as it stands is unsustainable. If we don’t change the way we’re managing (or not managing) it Social Security will definitely run completely out of money and the Democrat’s crying wolf will finally come to pass.

Fact: We don’t have an income problem.
Fact: Washington has a spending problem
Fact: Like an alcoholic, the Democrats will never admit they have a problem. Admitting you have a problem is the first step.

The left is terrified of people like Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachman, Marco Rubio and Texas governor, Rick Perry. Why? It’s because they know these people are the antithesis of every thing liberal politicians stand for. True Conservatives believe in a balanced budget, smaller government. Rick Perry’s state of Texas leads the nation in employment. How is that possible, given the rest of the nation is in shambles under Obama’s ‘Hope and Change’?

Obama and liberal Democrats sound like a broken record, claiming the rich aren’t paying their fair share and the answer to our problems is to simply tax the rich more. If you’re one of the folks who are either habitually unemployed because you’re too lazy to work and have learned to use the system or you make a dollar per year less than your neighbor that sounds pretty good to you.

I am bored hearing about how the rich aren’t paying their fair share. The fact is half of the Americans in this country pay taxes for the other half who don’t pay a dime in taxes. Coincidentally those same folks who don’t pay a dime in taxes are the same ones who believe that way. Creators.com had a cartoon of Obama titled, What did he say? It showed Obama saying, “I won’t allow the half of Americans who pay no taxes to bear the burden of the other half who aren’t paying their fair share.” Bada Bing!

Am I without compassion? Hell, no! I’m mad as hell that there are poor single mothers out there who are willing to work two and three jobs in order to support themselves and their kids because she can’t get enough money to live on after every one else has bellied up to the government teat. I feel sorry for the elderly who worked hard all their life and thought they would be retired by now and finally enjoying the fruits of their hard labor, only to find Obama’s ‘Hope and Change’ has wiped out their 401K and change is all they have left. I feel sorry for the disabled who can't work, though no fault of their own or the widow who's husbands life savings can no longer sustain her because Obama's policies have caused interest rates to tank. I feel sorry for the husband who can't find a job because Obama's policies have destroyed so many of them and he has to flip hamburgers or work in a convenience store just to put food on the table. Those are the people I have compassion for.

Talk about holding a gun to someone’s head! That’s exactly what Obama and the liberal politicians in Washington did. They metaphorically put a gun to Conservative’s collective head and said, “Just give us the money and we’ll put the gun down.” To them that’s what compromise is. If you don’t give them more money to spend that we don't have they'll claim you aren’t compromising and you're mean spirited.

Has it dawned on anyone that the Democrats were supposed to have a budget over two and a half years ago? We keep hearing from Democrats about the President’s budget plan. What budget plan! He hasn’t put one on paper but we keep hearing about it. Where is it? I’d like to see it. I’d like folks who are much smarter than me to look at it and tell us if the plan will work at reducing the deficit and create jobs so we can get back on financial track.

I’m not Secretary Tim Geithner, (thankfully) but I can tell you that everything Obama and his wrecking crew have touched has had the reverse Midas touch.

Meanwhile Obama is set to go on a bus tour through key political states on what he claims isn’t a political vote-getting tour, but rather a tour to get the economy back on track and put people back to work. Really? Did I mention the carbon footprint the two bullet-proof busses and entourage are going to make? How about how much it will cost the half of us who actually pay taxes will have to pony up for his un-named un-political campaign is going to cost? I can’t fathom how these people can look us in the eye and spew out the B.S. they do. The problem is there are Kool aid drinkers out there who actually do believe this non-sense. It absolutely defies logic and common sense.

I had a discussion with one of those folks the other day. He was one of the un-educated, ill-informed folks who are systemic of the problem. It was the day the Dow dropped 513 points in one day. He looked at me and said, “We had a surplus when Bill Clinton was President.” I was faced with either explaining to him how un-informed he was and trying to educate him – despite knowing he had drank the Kool aid and it was pointless or simply shaking my head in pity for him and walking away.

Always one who loves a good challenge I opted to try to educate him. I explained that for the first time in 40 years we had a surplus while Bill Clinton was President. The reason for that however was because we finally had a Republican controlled Congress and that it certainly was in spite of what Clinton’s policies would have produced. Let me make this simple for those who think it’s complicated. CONGRESS CONTROLS THE PURSE STRING. He then went on to tell me that Bush squandered it under his tenor as President. I had to explain to him that the Democrats controlled Congress under Bush’s tenor. Until the mid-term elections the Democrats controlled the House, the Senate and the White House. Obama owns this mess. That doesn’t stop him from wining it’s all George Bush’s fault.

I will opine George Bush made some bad decisions and certainly should have vetoed some of the outrageous spending of the Democrats but you own this one, Mr. Obama. You got a bad economy and made it worse with your failed policies. Far worse. You stimulus did anything but stimulate the economy. Your Obama care has been shown to be a policy that will actually increase medical costs – not reduce them.

Hope and Change? I’m looking forward to that in the November Presidential elections. Since you have yet to name your political tour bus that you claim isn’t a political tour on the taxpayer dime, may I suggest, ‘The Obama farewell tour buses? That is when we’ll finally have some reason for hope and more than change left in our pockets.

Who is going to blink first?

As we get closer to the President’s self imposed debt deadline of August 2nd two things are apparent; at least to me.

1. The Republicans seem to have no balls
2. The Democrats in Washington, (aside from being what I consider to be the most vile, corrupt bunch of pond scum – and I mean that in the nicest possible way) have no scruples and if they do it’s because they stole them from someone in a backroom deal somewhere.

Another thing I’ve gleaned over the years is the proclivity of people with good intentions to become corrupt after getting into office is strong.

So here is where we are in my view. The Democrats had the House and the Senate and the White House and still failed to produce a balanced budget in almost three years. It was something they weren’t interested in. They were more inclined to keep kicking the metaphorical can down the road and stay with the tried and true Democrat mantra of raising the debt limit, spending money, threatening seniors with their social security and Medicare being pulled from them and claiming the rich aren’t paying their fair share. And isn't ironic that Senator Obama, Reid, Palosi and the gang all voted against raising the debt ceiling when George Bush was President.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch the Republicans talked a good game of fiscal responsibility and giving corporations and small business owners – you know, the folks who actually hire people and cause the economy to grow tax breaks. The problem is they wet themselves every time the Democrats went for the jugular and claimed the Republicans were trying to push granny over the cliff in a wheelchair. They figured they’d better ‘compromise’ with the Democrats so they didn’t get blamed for whatever fiscal mess de jour the Democrats had gotten the nation into.

Here is a hint for you weak-bladdered Republicans in the belt way: Intelligent people know you can’t keep kicking that can down the road. Sooner or later we have to make some hard decisions or money will truly be completely out and granny, social security recipients and you are really going to be screwed. More importantly there are folks who are dumber than a box of rocks (you know the folks like the ones who voted for Obama without knowing a thing about him but wanted to in order to prove they weren’t racist; only stupid). Those folks will blame Republicans, no matter what. Deal with it and do what you were sent to Washington to do – provide some sane leadership.

This isn’t just about getting your sorry butts re-elected. It’s about the future of our country and our kids and their kid’s future. Pull your head out!

We keep hearing about the need for compromise. Compromise to the Democrats in Washington is code for give us more money to piss away and they can claim, “Well, the Republicans voted for it to.” It’s always been that way. Why look surprised when it happens every time?

I personally will vote for a principled candidate who perhaps made an unpopular (with the Democrats and morons) vote than some spineless one who tried to hide behind compromise. When you’re right you don’t compromise – you make your case and lead (there’s that term again) the other side and the American people to understand why it’s the right (no pun) thing to do. And if that doesn’t work, you can always follow Nancy Palosi’s lead and claim we have to “pass this bill so we can see what’s in it.” That’s how we got Obama care.

Their are good cops. Others, not so much. I received this from Ken Reineer of GOAZ (Gun Owner of AZ). It shows a cop from Ohio behaving in a VERY unprofessional and reckless manner while projecting this stupid reckless behavior toward the driver who has a legitimate CCW concealed carry permit.

He tells everyone to shut up and not say a word and then finally approaches the driver after over five minutes and goes ballistic after telling the driver he's required to immediately notify the officer that he has a permit. Had the now suspended cop not been such an ass on a power trip he would have known. The driver was trying to notify him.

But getting back to Charlie Rangel, wasn't it Charlie who was nailed on a whole plethora of ethics violations and evaded paying taxes? Rangel is quoted as saying, "You know all of this is biblical. If you read your bibles and your read the spiritual scriptures you will see that clearly Jesus would have something to say about this debate." Hey, Charlie, Jesus is also quoted as saying, "Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's..." Try paying your own taxes and quit tyring to invoke (exploit) Jesus into your mess you helped create.

Dear American Taxpayer

For only the second time in my adult life, I am not ashamed of my country. I want to thank the hard working American people for paying $242 thousand dollars for my vacation in Spain.

My daughter Sasha, several long-time family friends, my personal staff and various guests had a wonderful time. Honestly, you just haven't lived until you have stayed in a $2,500.00 per night private 3-story villa at a 5-Star luxury hotel.

Thank you also for the use of Air Force Two and the 70 Secret Service personnel who tagged along to be sure we were safe and cared for at all times. By the way, if you happen to be visiting the Costa del Sol, I highly recommend the Buenaventura Plaza restaurant in Marbella; great lobster with rice and oysters! I'm ashamed to admit the lobsters we ate in Martha's Vineyard were not quite as tasty, but what can you do if you're not in Europe, you have to just grin and bear it?

Air Force Two (which costs $11,351 per hour to operate according to Government Accounting Office reports) only used 47,500 gallons of jet fuel for this trip and carbon emissions were a mere 1,031 tons of CO2. These are only rough estimates, but they are close. That's quite a carbon footprint as my good friend Al Gore would say, so we must ask the American citizens to drive smaller, more fuel efficient cars and drive less too, so we can lessen our combined carbon footprint.

I know times are hard and millions of you are struggling to put food on the table and trying to make ends meet. So I do appreciate your sacrifices and do hope you find work soon.

I was really exhausted after Barack took our family on a luxury vacation in Maine a few weeks ago. I just had to get away for a few days.

Are the ‘rich’ screwing the rest of us when it comes to paying taxes?

I realize that there are people whose minds are made up and they don’t want to be confused by the facts, but here goes.

Although the wealthiest 1% earn only 19% of the income they pay 37% of all income taxes. The top 10% pay 68% of all taxes paid. And the bottom 50% earns 13% of all income but only pay 3% of the taxes.

If my math is correct that means the bottom 50% pay almost nothing, yet collect most of the entitlements.

Do big corporations get tax breaks? Hell, yes. They are the job creators. Ever been hired by a poor person? Obama keeps talking about jet owners and oil corporations getting tax breaks. Oddly he never mentions corporations like GE who pay diddly squat.

Quit buying into class envy and thinking anyone who makes a dollar a year more than you is ‘the rich’. Be thankful there are corporations out there who hire. With unemployment at 9.2 we need all the jobs we can get. By the way, it was only about 7% when Obama took office. Home values were much higher when he took office, too. Of course like any small child who doesn’t want to take blame for his failures, the President want to continue blaming it all on George Bush. No, Mr. President, you own this one. It was your policies that created this mess and it was you who claimed you were going to fix it all. Until the recent mid-term elections the Democrats owned the House, the Senate and the White House. Republicans couldn’t stop any of your failed policies. They didn’t have the votes. Y O U O W N IT.

The up side of all this is Jimmy Carter must be pleased that he’s no longer the worst President in American history.

Rahm Emanuel was quoted as saying, "Never let a good crisis go to waste". So now the folks who brought us ‘Fast and Furious’, the ludicrous lame brained failure where the ATF and perhaps the FBI and DEA intentionally allowed firearms, incl. high end high powered rifles to fall into the hands of the Mexican drug cartel want tough gun laws for the rest of us law-abiding folks. At least two of those firearms were allegedly used to murder Border Patrol agent, Brian Terry.

How much did this stupid failure cost us; aside from the obvious, Brian Terry’s life? Well, originally it was though to be about $10.5 million. Turns out if you add it all up it’s more like $53.5 million of our tax dollars. I would ask the rhetorical question, how stupid can these people be but apparently they’re goal-oriented and I don’t want to give them anything to shoot for, (pardon the pun).

But I digress. After concocting this ill-conceived piece of stupidity of epic proportions they now want to use the shooting that took place in Tucson on January 8th as a nexus for these new proposed gun laws.

Obama wrote a piece in the local Tucson rag, the Arizona Daily Star, “Most gun-control advocates know that most gun owners are responsible citizens. Most gun owners know that the word ‘commonsense’ isn’t a code word for ‘confiscation’.”

Let’s take this one point at a time. I agree with the President when he says “Most gun-control advocates know that most gun owners are responsible citizens.” Damn right Mr. President, we are responsible citizens. It’s a pity ATF has been shown to be anything but responsible. Irresponsible doesn’t even begin to cover their actions. And now they want to take the high ground in this debate? Surely you jest. May I remind you that ATF comes under Attorney General Eric Holder who works for you, Mr. President?

Oh and about most gun owners knowing that the word ‘commonsense’ not being a code word for ‘confiscation’… as always, you are wrong. We know for fact that’s exactly what you have in mind.

If you’re concerned with our safety I would start with taking money to allow guns to intentionally fall into the hands of Mexican drug cartels away from ATF. Giving them money is clearly akin to giving a bottle of whiskey to an alcoholic.

Responsible gun owners are tired of watching the government make fools of themselves while proposing more ‘commonsense’ gun laws for us. By the way, would you like to see the video of the agent who shot himself in the leg with a .40 cal. Glock handgun while explaining to the school children that he was the only one qualified to handle one? Some of the poor children are probably still wearing a colostomy bag after that one.

Responsible gun owners also know that criminals don’t care about any of your gun laws. Do you really believe that someone who is willing to murder would be concerned about one more gun law? Either you are all morons or you think we are.

Stop blowing smoke up our tail and trying to act like this isn’t about confiscation. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, odds are it’s duck. And this is about confiscation. Thanks, but no thanks.

Who’s at fault?

The Democrats want tax hikes for ‘the rich’ (how unlike them to use that tired class envy argument) and the Republicans, for now are saying “no way; give us spending cuts.”

Obama took presumably took his golf shoes off long enough to chastise Republicans and say, “I’ve been here, where are you?” Let’s set the record straight.

First and foremost ‘rich’ people create jobs – not poor people. Poor people do not hire. Obama’s policies have been a miserable failure and it isn’t even arguable. Of course he claims it’s just because he needs more stimulus money to make it work and he needs to take more money from the rich. Keep in mind he now is the rich and has no intentions of giving up any of his own money – just yours.

The Democrats were supposed to have a balanced budget two years ago when they had the House, the Senate and the White House and failed to do so! They chose instead to keep kicking the can down the road. Now they’re out of road and want to keep raising the debt limit and claim the economy is the fault of the Republicans. Sorry Barry, you own this one. The Republicans haven’t had the votes to stop any of your assaults on America and the Economy. This mess is all yours.

The options are to either Liberal business-as-usual; raise taxes and claim the rich are making too much while the national debt sinks deeper in the abyss and blame it on the Republicans because they won’t let you have more money to piss away on schemes that don’t work –OR- finally reduce spending and lower taxes, a tried and true method of stimulating growth.

Of course Obama is above the entire fray and wants to tell all of us how his daughter’s get their homework done on time and the Congress needs to do the same. That is code for, “You Republicans need to play fair and give me more money to waste and make a bad situation worse. Oh, and by the way, when it makes things worse we’ll tell everyone how you Republicans voted for it, too.”

This President can’t stop golfing and taking vacations long enough to lead. The only thing he’s leading is the American public down the elevator to hell. The sad thing is there will still be stupid people who will vote for him again, either because they are ideologues who would rather vote for their guy than common sense, because he’s our ‘first black President’, which he isn’t – his mother was white or because they are just patently stupid and think Obama is some modern day Robin Hood who is going to take from the rich (Obama excluded, of course) and give to them.

Wake up folks. Educate yourself and vote intelligently.

Is Gold Really a Good Investment?

IS GOLD REALLY A GOOD INVESTMENT?

You can’t turn on the television these days without seeing a commercial reminding you of the obvious – the economy is going down the toilet and you need to invest in gold to protect yourself from inflation.

I’m not a financial advisor – Can’t even claim that I once played one. I’m merely thinking aloud (or on paper) and submitting what I’m wondering about. Perhaps some of you investment gurus can offer your point of view on the subject.

I digress. Each time I hear the gold pundits expose the need for me to invest in gold I’m reminded of what happened on April 5, 1933, by then President (and darling of the Democrats), Franklin D. Roosevelt. For those of you like me who weren’t actually around at the time, he signed an executive order “forbidding the Hoarding of Gold Coin, Gold Bullion and Gold Certificates within the Continental United States”. It criminalized the possession of monetary gold by any individual, partnership, association or corporation.

The justification given was times were hard and the stalled economy was getting worse, ergo Lord Roosevelt decided you couldn’t own gold. U.S. citizens were required to deliver their gold to the Federal Reserve on or before May 1, 1933 – less than 30 days after the signing of the order. You would be given $20.67 per troy ounce in exchange.

What happened if you decided the government couldn’t do that to you and you refused? You would be charged under the Trading with the Enemy Act of October 6, 1917, as amended on March 9, 1933 and would be subject of a penalty of up to $10,000 (which would equate to adjusted amount of about $167,000. by today’s figures) or up to ten years in prison, or both. Most folks who were in a position to own a lot of gold simply transferred it into Swiss bank accounts.

Oddly enough there is a thought in the back of my mind that says the current occupant of the White House and his ilk have shown there is nothing off-the-table when it comes to bending or breaking the law when it comes to acting like a dictator.

Take his recent taping of a fund raising commercial in the map room of the White House to raffle $5.00 tickets to have dinner with V.P. Joe Biden. Are you kidding me! That would be funnier than going to the Improve Comedy Club. It’s hard to say what Ol’ Joe would say. Although the Constitution says you can’t use the White House for anything other than official business and the map room is for official business, only, the ‘coolest’ Prez ever has deemed it’s ok because it’s in the residential portion of the People’s House.

The economy is in shambles, the prognosis is anything but good, unemployment is over nine percent (and much worse in the areas of the country ran by Liberals) and I have no doubt in my mind that this President wouldn’t blink twice at pulling an FDR on us. But that’s just me.

Foreclosures are up and the median price for a foreclosed home is below $100,000 for the third month in a row.

The median sale price for a home has dropped 3.8 percent in the last month, alone. The median price for a newly built home is the lowest it has been in two years. What suddenly changed within the past two years? Oh, that's right, Obama arrived with his hope and change.

Well there is your change for you. Now we can only hope he doesn't get re-elected. With the mentality of the morons who voted for him in the first place, who knows? I listened to a talk show host today who said he voted for Obama because he noticed how candidate Obama had such sharp creases in his trousers and knew from that, that Obama would be a great President. This is the stupidity we're dealing with! Ignorance is curable. Stupidity is forever.

Another indicator is the fact food prices in Arizona have gone up 7% in this quarter alone!

The reason for all of this, according to Obama is ATM machines. You can't make this stuff up, folks.

His former financial advisor claims the problem is we need another stimulus but bigger than the last ones. I suppose the crack won't smoke itself.

What unbridled arrogance! Obama has told Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu that Israel needs to move their borders back to their 1967 positions – a move that Netanyahu, not surprisingly rejected.

As I looked at the Associated Press photo of Obama, the arrogant, with nose in the air and speaking to his subjects I was reminded of former dictators addressing their minions. Disgusted doesn’t begin to cover what I felt as I heard of the patently arrogant, asinine and stupid gall of Obama. This President has certainly gone above and beyond any measures that I ever would have thought he would go to in order to alienate the U.S. form any allies we ever had and attempt to befriend every enemy we’ve ever had. At what point to we stop looking the other way and begin impeachment proceedings against Obama?

Israel is the gateway to the west and Obama, the arrogant has decided (ruled) that the U.S. would take sides with the Palestinians. Let me rephrase that, the people of the U.S. aren’t buying into the notion of supporting terrorists but our President has ruled that we will.

Obama is quoted as saying that he want to assure Netanyahu the United States commitment to Israeli security is “unshakable”. Unshakable?? This latest act of epic stupidity on the part of the President simply boggles the mind!
According to Obama, “The status quo is unsustainable.” Your Presidency is unsustainable, Mr. President.

It was Nancy Pelosi who kept telling us that we had to pass Obama care to see what was in it. Turns out she may have already known what was in it.

20% of all Obama care waivers went to Nancy Pelosi’s district. Am I the only one who believes this administration is the most corrupt in U.S. history? Please tell me all Democrats aren’t as corrupt and conniving as Reid, Pelosi and Obama.

Reid and Pelosi have managed to get a whole cornucopia of waivers from a health care bill that was supposed to be so great. If it’s so great, why are they asking for a waiver for folks in their districts? It’s a rhetorical question; we already know the answer. It’s because the plan stinks more than the latrine door on a tuna boat!

These people shouldn’t be holding office – they should be in a defendant’s chair of a court house, answering questions about their dubious activities and backroom deals! I can’t understand how they can even stand to look at themselves in the mirror in the morning.

They say that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Nowhere is that more true than when it comes to Reid, Pelosi and Obama. Now we have former Obama White House Chief of Staff as mayor of Chicago, that bastion of crooked politics. Where does it end with these people!

As for the people of Chicago, they voted for Emanuel; they deserve what they got. The same can be said of those who voted for Obama’s ‘Hope and Change’. So how’s that Hope and Change workin’ out for you? Are you making more money, now that Obama is President? Are you paying less or more for gas and groceries since Obama became President? Do you feel the presence of more transparency in politics like Obama promised or do you see backroom deals and a President out of control when it comes to spending, vacations, golf tournaments and lavish parties while telling the rest of us that we need to tighten our belts and sacrifice?

A lot of folks voted for Obama to prove to themselves that they weren’t racist. A small note: Obama’s mother is white. Some were intimidated by the new black panthers standing outside voting polls with night sticks in their hands – a federal crime which Attorney General Eric Holder won’t pursue. Some voted for Obama because they thought he was going to give them things. Hopefully people will vote against Obama this time to prove to themselves that they aren’t complete morons.

This leads me to something else. Newt Gingrich was quoted as saying President Obama is the “President of food stamps”. The far left media has suddenly turned the statement into claiming the statement is racist. How? It’s factually correct. More people are on food stamps during Obama’s presidency than in any other time in American history. They are claiming the food stamp comment is clearly aimed at black people. Huh?? I would opine that nothing in the statement even remotely suggests that it’s aimed at blacks or any other group of people. I would also suggest that if more blacks are collecting food stamps during Obama's term than under any other President; than the statement is factually correct.

The Democrats and the far left media are in the tank for Obama. This President and the lame-stream media are the most arrogant and deceitful that I’ve ever seen and set the bar high when it comes to double standards.

There is no doubt in my mind that the next generation of ACORN will raise it’s ugly head when it comes time for Obama to run again – not that he ever left campaign mode.

We must remain vigilant to voter fraud and we must get the apathetic out to vote. Vote for real Hope and Change; not what we’ve got from Obama – rhetoric.

At a time when many Americans can barely afford Burger King and a movie, Obama boasts of spending a billion dollars on his re-election campaign. Questioned at a recent appearance about the spiraling fuel costs, Obama said, "Get used to it" – and with an insouciant grin and chortle, he told another person at the event, who complained about the effect high fuel prices were having on his family, to "get a more fuel-efficient car.."

The Obamas behave as if they were sharecroppers living in a trailer and hit the Powerball, but instead of getting new tires for their trailer and a new pickup truck, they moved to Washington. And instead of making possum pie, with goats and chickens in the front yard, they're spending and living large at taxpayer expense – opulent vacations, gala balls, resplendent dinners and exclusive command performances at the White House, grand date nights, golf, basketball, more golf, exclusive resorts and still more golf.

Expensive, ill-fitting and ill-chosen wigs and fashions hardly befit the first lady of the United States. The Obamas have behaved in every way but presidential – which is why it's so offensive when we hear Obama say, in order "to restore fiscal responsibility, we all need to share in the sacrifice – but we don't have to sacrifice the America we believe in."

The American people have been sacrificing; it is he and his family who are behaving as if they've never had two nickels to rub together – and now, having hit the mother lode, they're going to spend away their feelings of inadequacy at the taxpayers' expense.

Obama continues to exhibit behavior that, at best, can be described as mobocratic and, at worst, reveals a deeply damaged individual. In a February 2010 column, I asked, "Is Obama unraveling?" I wrote that it was beginning to appear the growing mistrust of him and contempt for his policies was beginning to have a destabilizing effect on him.

At that time, I wrote that not having things go one's way can be a bitter pill, but reasonable people don't behave as he was behaving. He had insulted Republicans at their luncheon, where he had been an invited guest. I had speculated that was, in part, what had led him to falsely accuse Supreme Court justices before Congress, the nation and the world, during the 2010 State of the Union address.

It appeared, at that time, as if he were "fraying around the emotional edges." That behavior has not abated – it has become more pronounced. While addressing the nation, after being forced to explain the validity of his unilateral aggression with Libya, America witnessed a petulant individual scowling and scolding the public for daring to insist he explain his actions.

But during an afternoon speech to address the budget/debt, he took his scornful, unstable despotic behavior to depths that should give the nation cause for concern. Displaying a dark psychopathy more representative of an episode of "The Tudors" television series, he invited Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis.., to sit in the front row during his speech and then proceeded to berate both Ryan and Ryan's budget-cutting plan. Even liberal Democrats were put off by the act. MSNBC's Joe Scarborough questioned the sanity of Obama's actions.

Today, criticism is coming from all sides. A senior Democrat lawmaker said, "I have been very disappointed in [Obama], to the point where I'm embarrassed that I endorsed him.. It's so bad that some of us are thinking, is there some way we can replace him? How do you get rid of this guy?" ("Democrats' Disgust with Obama," The Daily Beast, April 15, 2011)

Steve McCann wrote: Obama's speech "was chock full of lies, deceit and crass fear-mongering. It must be said that [he] is the most dishonest, deceitful and mendacious person in a position of power I have ever witnessed" ("The Mendacity of Barack Obama," AmericanThinker..com, April 15, 2011).

McCann continued: "[His] performance was the culmination of four years of outright lies and narcissism that have been largely ignored by the media, including some in the conservative press and political class who are loath to call [him] what he is in the bluntest of terms: a liar and a fraud. That he relies on his skin color to intimidate, either outright or by insinuation [against] those who oppose his radical agenda only add to his audacity. It is apparent that he has gotten away with his character flaws his entire life, aided and abetted by sycophants around him. …"

With these being among the kinder rebukes being directed at Obama, and with people becoming less intimidated by his willingness to use race as a bludgeon, with falling poll numbers in every meaningful category and an increasingly aggressive tea-party opposition – how much longer before he cracks completely?

The coming months of political life are not going to be pleasant for Obama. Possessed by a self-perceived palatine mindset, that in his mind places him above criticism, how long before he cracks in public? Can America risk a man with a documented track record of lying and misrepresenting truth as a basic way of life, who is becoming increasingly more contumelious?

Mexican officials delivering migrants to kidnappers

Mexican authorities fired seven immigration agency regional directors in the states of Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Tabasco, Oaxaca, Mexico, San Luis Potosi and Quintana Roo.

The regional directors were fired amid allegations that they were delivering Central American migrants to kidnapping gangs. I'm mortified! The kidnapping gangs reportedly have reportedly been extorting money from the migrants or recruiting them for drug trafficking.

Why am I not surprised. Contrary to what Mexican President, Felipe Caldrone would have us believe, Mexico is corrupt from top to bottom. Of course if you listen to the balderdash of Caldrone, Obama and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, it’s all the United States’ fault – we supply them with guns. Not so much. That’s already been debunked and we now know that our own ATF has deliberately facilitated thousands of firearms going to Mexico; some that have been tracked to murders. Of course they want to disarm American citizens; it would make us easy targets like the migrants who wind up beheaded if they don’t cooperate.

Make no mistake, lots of money comes back to Mexico from Mexicans in the U.S. illegally. That’s reportedly Mexico’s second largest source of income. I’m not sure where taxpayer money sent to Mexico by our Presidents in the form of “aid” comes in.

An estimated 400,000 illegals cross through Mexico each year to the U.S. And of course any babies they have here automatically become U.S. citizens. And to add insult to injury the rest of us have to pay all of the medical bills in the form of increased rates for us and they will automatically receive a whole cornocopia of benefits in the form of food stamps, welfare, housing breaks and more. That of course gives them more time to go to rallys to protest America, burn the American flag and demand even more preceived Rights for being here illegally.

Meanwhile there are thousands of immigrants who came here legally, are hard working, tax-paying members of society who are justifiably outraged. They played by the rules and now they’re watching these law-breakers go to the head of the line in the name of partisan politics. Pissed? You bet! I would be if I were them.

Meanwhile they just found 8 more decapitated bodies dumpe along the road, following the mass graves containing 196 (so far) corpses. Note to President Obama: This is the difference between “corpse” and “corps”. ie: Corpmen – not corpsemen.

Bill Clinton Thinks we need an Internet Agency Truth Detector

Forgive me Sheriff Dupnik for the perceived vitriol that I’m about to speak; for it is all true.

In a CNBC interview that aired May 06, 2011 opined we need an Internet agency created by the U.S. government or United Nations to debunk malicious rumors that originate and spread online. May I be so bold as to ask if we’re talking about rumors like the ones that were raised during your Presidency that accused you of having sex with a young intern by the name of Monica Lewinsky? You know, the one where you looked at the camera, bit your lower lip, wagged your finger at the camera with eyes squinted and said, “I never ever had sexual relations with that woman.”? Oh, that’s right, you later had to admit that you lied to the American public and gave a tearful apology.

Of course Bill, in true Liberal fashion says it should be on the taxpayer dime. “Somebody needs to be doing it, and maybe it’s a worthy expenditure of taxpayer money.” He claims, “I think it would be a legitimate thing to do.” Of course keep in mind that he thought Monica was a “legitimate thing to do”, too. Leave it to Liberals; they’re always willing to put our money where their mouth is.

Clinton believes that if such an agency were formed it would have to be “totally transparent”. I’m sure he’s speaking in the school of Obama and Nancy Pelosi. We would have to approve it to see what was in it.

At least he he’s suggesting oversight by those bastions of non-partisanship like the United Nations or NPR. You’re joking, right? What he’s talking about is the thing the Democrats have been pushing for a long time, the so-called “fairness doctrine”. It’s fair so long as the Democrats agree with it. If you don’t; you’re spewing vitriol and foregoing civility. SHAME ON YOU!

I’m thinking that, either he’s crazy or thinks we are. In his defense I’ll offer that at least he didn’t leave a stain on the entire country like the current President has.

Not so much. Despite all the media outlets like Yahoo, etc. claiming Obama’s approval ratings at 60% don’t put too much into it.

It should come as no surprise The Associated Press has always been a liberal rag. You can slant words using what’s known in the biz as a ‘style book’. When you want to discredit someone you don’t say, “So and so said…” You say, instead, “So and so claims…” That’s how it works in a nut shell.
You can’t slant the numbers without deception, though. And that’s exactly what the AP poll did. In theory you interview as many people on one side of the issue as the other to get some moniker of accuracy.

What AP did was pure deception. When they call someone to be polled they know ahead of the question if they are Democrat or Republican. The poll used twice as many Democrats as Republicans to arrive at their 60% approval rating.

The Rasmussen Poll, which has always been pretty much dead-on had Obama with a slight trail of about two percentage points.

So when one of your liberal friends (why would you have liberal friends?) tries to throw the 60% approval rating lie at you, you’ll know how to respond – not that they will care. Their mind is made up.

Obama still trying to tell us the border is safer than ever

Barack Obama claimed Tuesday in an immigration speech in El Paso that his administration has gone “above and beyond” what Republicans asked for in border security.

Obama cites the addition of more Border Patrol agents and the drop in apprehensions of illegal border crossers and, believe it or not the low violent crime rates in U.S. border cities.

Really? Really?? Ok, how ‘bout a little reality check. That speech may fly with people who may have been living in a drug tunnel between the Mexican and American border for the last few years or those who would agree with you even if you said black is white and day was night. It would sit well with those here illegally but it won’t fly with those of us who live eighty-five miles from the Mexican border and don’t have to take your word for it.

The reality is we have Border Patrol agents testifying that they are under orders to turn around (“go north”) if they catch illegals or drug dealers near the border. The reality is Obama and his band of political gang-bangers are suing Arizona for doing the feds job that they refuse to do. The reality is, despite what former governor and current Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano continue to spout, the border is NOT safer than ever! The violence along the border is growing exponentially and is coming further and further on this side of the border. That, President Obama is the reality – not this fantasy myth that you and your cronies want to peddle to the American public in hopes of becoming a two-term dictator.

Each day there is an increasing number of bodies found missing their heads. Each day there are more bodies found in mass graves and strewn about the border cities. That President Obama and Secretary Napolitano is the reality. To pretend it is what it isn’t and to aid and abet is criminal and you and those who do so should be held criminally libel. And to think Attorney General Holder wants to hold CIA agents responsible for enhanced interrogation is just appalling. The CIA agents helped protect Americans – something your administration (regime) can’t claim.

Obama was quoted as saying, “All the stuff they’ve asked for, we’ve done,”. “But, I suspect there’s going to be some that are going to move the goal posts on us one more time.” Let’s be clear Mr. Obama, you haven’t done the things you promised and I have a whole file to document it. What you’ve done is hand us a turd and tried to sell us on the idea that there is a clean end to it.
Obama went on to say, “Maybe they’ll say we need a moat? Maybe they’ll want alligators in the moat,” Obama said. “They’ll never be satisfied. And I understand that, that’s politics. But the truth is that the measures we’ve put in place are getting results.”

Apparently Barack fancies himself as somewhat of a comedian. “Missed it by that much, Chief.” And the fact remains, despite your claims to the contrary, your measures haven’t produced results, unless, of course you’re speaking from the cartel’s viewpoint or the viewpoint of those hoping for the demise of this great country.

Obama called for those Republicans who walked away the last time demanding more border enforcement to now come back to the table and finish the work Congress started. Perhaps in the same fashion that the Democrats in Wisconsin did, perhaps?

“Today, the immigration system not only tolerates those who break the rules, it punishes the folks who follow the rules,” Obama said. You’ve just described your immigration policy to the letter, Mr. Obama. Now you just need to realize you’re talking about your own policies and not those of someone else.

Obama was booed loudly when he highlighted the administration’s building of border fences. Gee, why do you think that is and who do you think was booing you, Mr. President? Think maybe it was predominantly those who are here illegally?

As the old saying goes, don’t pee down my back and tell me it’s raining. What you’re selling is a lemon and we aren’t going to buy it again in 2012.

How much of a mess did Obama really inherit form President Bush?

I was talking to a man today about the killing of Ben Laden. He was telling me how impressed he was with Obama planning the military operation to get OBL. I told him Obama couldn’t plan a bowel movement. He immediately whipped out the liberal’s standard mantra, “Well he’s better than the previous President.” I told him that no George Bush apologist am, I but I’d take exception to his factual accuracy. He responded with another Liberal catch-all, “He inherited George Bush’s big deficits.”

Ok, time to set the record straight on this much-repeated pile of flatulence. I realize the Kool aid (see Jim Jones if you don’t know who they were) drinkers will not be swayed by the facts but here we go anyway.

There are three branches of government, the legislative branch that makes the laws and controls the purse strings, the judicial branch that carries out the laws that Congress passes and the executive branch, aka: The President, who can not make law but has veto power.

Obama, like a talking doll has a limited number of responses and declarations. The one used most is the, “I inherited this mess from the previous administration.” line. To George W. Bush’s credit he’s stayed above the fray and has refrained from engaging in the finger-pointing his successor has brought to an art form. But then Bush has some class, something Obama will never understand any more than he appreciates the sacrifices our military men and women make.

A President can neither create a budget deficit nor a budget surplus. So when you hear the stories about the so-called “Clinton surplus” remember that the Congress was controlled by the Republicans at that time. That surplus was the first in 40 years. Coincidentally, it was the first time the Republicans controlled the Congress in 40 years.

When Obama was elected to the White House with a little help from his friends at ACORN (vote early and vote often), he inherited a deficit that was created by the Congressional Democrats at a time when Barack was in the Senate and was one of the biggest spenders.

While it is true Bush should have vetoed more of those spending bills, some that he approved of, the fact remains the Democrats controlled the Congress.

Until the recent 2010 mid-term elections the Democrats controlled the House, the Senate and the White House. Still, the President insists on whining like a little baby (my apologies to any babies who were offended by that statement) that he inherited this mess from Bush.

It is Barack, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid in the, until-only-recently-Democrat controlled Congress and Senate who created the massive deficit we now have. I particularly like the jobs created by his ‘stimulus’ bill that were created in Arizona’s 93 Congressional district. Much like Obama’s “57th” state, the Arizona 93 Congressional district doesn’t exist. I live in Arizona and we only have 13.

Most of the mess we’re in is compliments of the Congressional Democrats pushing the banks to make risky loans to people who couldn’t afford them. Most notably were Barney Frank and Senator Christopher Dodd. Unfortunately too many spineless Republicans went along.

In 2004 President Bush said that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac needed oversight the Democrats cried, “Foul” and played the race card; claiming the Republicans just wanted to keep poor people from buying a home. Ah, there’s that race card, again. The Dems know it will bring all but the strongest Conservatives to their knees. They suddenly find themselves defending against racism charges instead of having a substantive debate about the real issues and facts. That’s why I’m not intimidated by their tactic and will gladly engage those folks on a substantive debate and shut the race card down mo ricky tick (A Marine Corp term).

So the next time a Liberal hits you with that tired old heaping helping of bovine flatulence, tell them to get their facts straight and educate them. Many voted for Obama to prove they aren’t racist. Perhaps this time they’ll vote against him in 2012 to prove they aren’t morons. Nah, never happen. Their mind is made up and they won’t be swayed by the facts.

We have a bunch of spoiled little brats showing up at a Tucson Unified School District meeting, chaining themselves together and to the chairs, pounding on the tables and shutting down a board meeting. These are the same type of morons who will destroy things if their basketball team loses the championship. They will also destroy things if their team wins. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss making the so-called ethnic studies class and elective.
Our little angels have learned well from the class. It teaches racism, that America stole Arizona from the Mexicans, Americans are an enemy, etc. The proponents of the class (of which they have no class) also claim the ethnic studies classes improve the students grades.

Actually the fact is their grades are lower.

I would rhetorically ask shy these little brats weren't cited, arrested and their parents ordered to come down to the court house. It's rhetorical because I know the answer and you probably do, too. If that were to happen the cops would be labeled, 'racists'. Trust me, if it had been Anglo kids that is exactly what would have happened.

If these little darlings want America to be more like Mexico, you know, rapes, kidnaps, murder, drug deals, government corruption and be-headings, I suggest they go 85 miles to the south and be happy. Hell, it would make us happy if they did.

Meanwhile they need to have their ass spanked, forced to get a job and actually earn something for a change. Then I want to see someone come and destroy it just like they do so they can see how it feels. Perhaps some graffiti on their car they just worked their butt off to buy would be a good start.

What's the real motive?

The fact Obama lies every time he speaks (lectures) to the American public isn’t arguable.

The latest example was the White House begging the S&P to not release figures showing America is about to lose it’s stellar credit rating, thanks to his policies. Despite Obama trying to play it off and suggest all was well in Gotham, the S&P revealed a picture quite different.

We also had the interview in Texas recently. When asked by the interviewer why Obama thought he was so unpopular in Texas Obama responded by saying Texas was a Conservative state and he only lost by a couple of points. The interviewer corrected him by saying he lost by 11 points.

Despite reports to the contrary by the CBO (Congressional Budget Office) that Obama care was actually going to cost us more, Obama continues to claim otherwise.

In a recent address Obama tried to tie the collapse of a bridge in Minnesota to Bush budget policies – knowing full well that the bridge collapsed because of a design flaw and had nothing to do with Bush economic policies.

In a recent Face Book town hall an individual asked what the President could do about helping his family buy a home. Rather than correctly tell the individual, “Me and my cronies like Christopher Dodd, Charlie Rangel, et al have screwed things up so badly that it’s laughable that you would even ask such a stupid question; you don’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of purchasing a home now.”, he simply suggested that they rent, instead.

Obama recently told a group of his groupies that we shouldn’t use coal as an energy source “…because as we all know, coal causes asthma.” That’s non-sense. Coal does not cause asthma.

His idea for those who complain of high gasoline prices is to, “get a tune up and make sure your tire pressure is correct.” Unless you are driving a relic, lack of carburetors on most cars today precludes tune-ups. Correcting the tire pressure will help your tires last longer but the impact on your gas mileage is negligible.

The President knows that federal budgets can legally only be projected for 10 years. Yet, in an effort to make his budget seem to be in line with Eric Cantor and the GOP’s budget he claimed his budget would save $4 trillion over the next 12 years. Just a bit of slight- of- hand. The fact is his budget would only reduce a little over $2 trillion over the next 10 years.

Not long after his so-called stimulus went into effect he claimed fictional jobs that he supposedly created in Congressional districts in Arizona that don’t even exist. He was probably thinking of jobs he created in our 57th state that he spoke of.

The fact of the matter is I haven’t even scratched the surface of the bravo sierra this President has spewed. You can always tell when he’s lying because his lips are moving.

Knowing that he is a flim-flam man who makes used car salesman look honest makes me wonder what his real agenda is – aside from the obvious – wealth distribution.

He says people like him in his tax bracket need to pay more in taxes, even though he paid far less than he would have us believe.

Where is the transparency he spoke of when he was candidate Obama? Where is the turn-around in the economy he promised? OK, I’ll give him that one. There has been a dramatic turn around in the economy. It just wasn’t for the better. Our economy is a disaster and he and his ilk want to continue spending money we don’t have.

I don’t have the band-width to address all of the lies this President has told. He has shown he will say whatever he thinks he has to in order to get re-elected. He’s never left campaign mode. He says he needs more than one term to finish the job. He means to finish the U.S. off, once and for all! If he’s done this much damage in two years, one can only imagine what he can do with a second term; certainly more than the Communists could have ever hoped to have achieved in decades.

We need to make sure Obama is a one-term President. Keep in mind he’s trying to get amnesty for illegals (undocumented Democrats) to insure that end. And let’s not forget the ACORN policy of, ‘vote early and vote often’. These people are crooks. There is no other way of sugar-coating it.

If Obama truly is the smartest man in America, as we're being lead to believe, we have to assume that he believes all of us are the stupidist people on the planet. Not all of us, Mr. President, just the ones who voted for you and are Kool Aid drinkers who refuse to admit they screwed up.

The Arizona Daily Star reports a Pima County Sheriff’s detective has met the enemy and the enemy was him.

Detective Kurt Dabb was taken to the hospital after accidentally shooting himself in the leg while getting ready to attend a firearms qualification.

This will not look good on his resume. There is no report on whether Detective Dabb will sue himself or not. It appears he doesn’t have a leg to stand on.

The shooter walked into a school and shot 12 middle school students, aged 12-15 to death and then killed himself. He left the obligatory rambling note behind and was even gracious enough to leave his wishes for how he wanted his body to be dealt with.

The death toll stands at 12 but may go even higher since 3 more students are in grave condition.

The gun control crowd would have us believe this is a nexus for tougher gun laws. Really? Well "riddle me this, Batman"; how is it that this could happen with the strict gun laws they have in place in RIO DE JANEIRO?

Here is what the Arizona Daily Star reports about gun laws there:

"Brazil already has strict gun laws. A 2003 law sharply limited who could legally purchase firearms and carry guns on the street. Anyone wanting to buy a gun must be at least 25, pass a psychological test, prove they need the weapon, have no criminal record, and provide proof that they attended courses on handling guns."

So how did the shooter do this? Surely he complied with all of the above; it's the law. Are we to believe gun laws only effect the law-abiding and that perhaps criminals, (who are the ones we need to worry about) don't give a damn about all of the laws that prevent the rest of us from defending our families and ourselves? It's a rhetorical question. The answer is, "YES".

It's time we see all of those who would impose strict gun laws on law-abiding citizens for what they are -- naive.

This tragedy clearly shows why gun laws don't work. CRIMINALS AND WHACK JOBS DON'T OBEY THE LAW! It's part of the job description. Make no mistake, the gun law proponents will eroneously try to use this tragedy as a nexus for the need for more gun laws. Yes, yes, I know that makes no sense but we aren't dealing with logical people. We're dealing with morons, many of whom own a gun for themselves but think you shouldn't. They're elitists and believe in their own mind that they can be trusted but you can't. The list of anti-gun celebrities and politicians who say you shouldn't have a gun but they have one or have armed bodyguards is too long to mention here.

We must fight any and all attempts to use tragedies like this and like the one in Tucson, AZ as showing the need for more gun laws. GUN LAWS DON'T DETER CRIMINALS AND CRAZIES.

It was just reported that a mass grave containing 72 bodies in a border town near the Texas border has been found.

How can this be? Our Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano keeps telling us these stories are exagerations and we need to stop pepetuating the myth that the border is unsafe. She told us, with a straight face I might add that the borders are safer than ever.

Her devastated husband, Jim, is now demanding answers from Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust — the organisation where his wife had served as a non-executive member of the board of directors.

He said: "I don't really know why she died. I did not get a reason from the hospital. We all want to know for closure. She got weaker and weaker as she waited and operations were put off."

Not to be cruel, but the reason is simple.

You can tell a lot about someone by the way they view our military

Let me be clear, there is a difference between the rank and file versus the leadership in Washington. Although I may see the average rank and file Democrat as misguided and ill-informed, I don’t see them as inherently evil. The Democrat leadership, on the other hand, I do see as inherently evil. I would offer Nancy Palosi, Harry Reid and Obama as examples.

I was raised a Democrat but managed to think for myself and didn’t follow the path of actually believing the Democrat rhetoric and mantra of, “The Democrats are for the poor man and the Republicans are for the rich man.” In fact I believe that statement to be patently false.

The Republican leadership has always preached less government and enabling everyone – rich and poor alike, to achieve their dreams. The Democrat leadership, on the other hand believes you’re too stupid to make it on your own and you need the government (and specifically them) to make it.

What I see today is the dope-smoking hippies of the 60s (my era) now running the country; into the ground and up the access ramp to hell to be specific. They still believe that they are entitled to whatever you have. You know, “What’s mine is mine and what’s yours is mine.”

I remember how to this day I get annoyed at an old song from the 70s by a group called the 5-man-electrical band. That band and the band that covered the song sang, “…so I jumped on the fence and yelled to the house, HEY, what gives you the right to put up a sign to keep me out or to keep mother nature in!”

I’ll tell you what gives them the right, they worked their ass off to pay for the house and you didn’t. If you want your own house so you can go out and put up a ‘no trespassing’ sign, go out and get a job and earn it! Those who haven’t earned something generally don’t have any pride or interest in preserving it.

Our military men and women have earned our respect. They don’t demand it but they have earned it.

Our military men and women and their families have been treated as second class throw-aways who are expendable by the current Democrat administration. I’m disgusted!

It’s important to remember that until recently the Democrats controlled the House, the Senate and the White House. They were charged with providing a budget for the nation. They not only didn’t provide one, they didn’t even attempt to provide one. Now after spending more money – our money to a tune that is greater than all money spent between 1776 and 2005 they want to continue on this trend. They have what it takes to take what you have – just like the hippy on the fence yelling to the house.

These hypocrites who would want us to believe they are right down there with us are filthy rich. Their are more millionaire Democrats than Republicans in Washington, D.C. but they still want you to believe they are poor and struggling.

We were just faced with a budget battle that pitted a Republican Congress who wanted to put the brakes on this wild spending and reduce the budget by $100 billion against a Democrat leadership who not only didn’t want to reduce spending but actually wanted to increase spending, i.e. business-as-usual.

One of the things at the heart of this debate was whether our military was going to be paid or not. We have faced budget showdowns before but never has a President and his ilk been so inherently open with their contempt for the hard working men and women of our military and their families. They said putting a separate rider in to make sure the military was paid on time was a “distraction”. A distraction, eh?

The Republicans wanted to make sure our fine military folks were paid during this debate. The Speaker of the House said he would not take his pay until a deal was worked out. One Democrat said she would not return the money, that she had bill and student loans to pay. Like our military men and women don’t?? What arrogance! Obama and the Democrats would still be paid but decided the military men and women were just expendable nuisances for them and wouldn’t be paid on time. They aren’t fit to carry the dirty laundry of our military men and women! They disgust me.

Around 1995-’96 our government ‘shut down’, but Bill Clinton still made sure our military was paid. What has happened to us? It’s a rhetorical question. Obama and the current batch of socialist hippies who run the country is what has happened.

Recently we had a whole batch of Democrats thrown out of office in what could only be construed as a referendum. The 2012 election is coming up and we need to finish the job. We need to get rid of those selfish career politicians who are destroying our country and that includes RINOS (Republicans-in-name, only) while they get rich and continue to draw pensions after only serving one term while the rest of us have to actually earn a living and watch them take a bigger and bigger bite out of our earning to give to pet projects and to our enemies who hate our guts.

It’s time to elect folks who believe we need to live within our budget, just like you and I have to do at home and who honor our military men and women with the respect they deserve.

We have some ‘pastor’ in Florida decide to burn the Koran so those peace-loving Muslim extremists decided they would make some folks who had nothing to do with it pay.

Given that logic, am I to assume it’s ok to go be-head some Muslims in America who refer to people like me as infidels and have no qualms about burning the Holy Bible?

Please keep in mind there are people in the U.S. who are trying to demand that Shariah law be adopted in America. Honor killings would then be perfectly acceptable under the new Shariah law. Of course if you’re opposed to it you could be labeled an extremist Muslimphobe.

Let me be clear, I’m opposed to any religion that thinks it’s ok to murder and be-head people who disagree with your religion; especially when their religion is totally intolerant. I’m perfectly ok with you trying to get America to adopt your Shariah law, so long as you’re ok with Americans telling you to take a hike and go back to your country if you’re so happy with it.

Call me strange but if I were a woman and my husband beat the heck out of me under the misguided guise of religiously correct, you had damn well not go to sleep with me in the house. But that’s just me.

School training excercise has anti-immigration, pro-gun as villian

"An emergency drill set to take place in an Iowa school Saturday involves an “anti-immigration” pro-gun student shooting dozens of students in a racially-motivated shooting spree."

The Operation Closed Campus claims to be a simple training exercise for emergency responders and support organizations to prepare them for a possible shooting scenario. The event involves involving roughly 300 people, local police, hospitals and the Red Cross.

The scenario involves a fictitious 18-year-old senior who has become upset over national immigration policies and decides to enlist the help of some "white supremacy affiliates".

The bad guy is portrayed as being decidedly anti-immigration (the term is: anti illegal immigration) and his family "is known to be firearm enthusiasts, if not fanatics” For the record, a "firearm fanatic" is anyone who owns a firearm, according to these folks. Does that mean the military and police are firearm fanatics?

The scenario goes on to have our anti-immigration firearm fanatic “blurting racial slurs and that he is tired of them moving in and stealing jobs and money from Americans” then “pulls a handgun from his waistband, shooting one of the minority students.”

"A 17-year-old friend of the shooter then joins him in "firing upon anyone in their path and chasing down anyone who is against their ill-perceived stand,” the plan says."

How cliche can we get with this folks? It's a rhetorical question. I've learned that the ignorance of these folks is boundless.

Kevin Elwood, superintendent of Treynor Community Schools, says the exercise was only constructed for the purpose of securing Department of Homeland Security Grant funding, which requires the drill simulate a terrorism scenario. Really? Well let's try this scenario on for size and see how it flies:

The scenario would be a bunch of illegal Mexican gang-bangers are upset over some Anglos opposing an influx of violence in their community.

The gang-bangers come to the school and begin shouting racial slurs at the Anglos and eventually pull handguns out of their waste bands and begin shooting everyone they can while shouting, "Viva la Mexico!"

How long do you think it would take for AZ Rep Raul Grijalva, Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton to join the fight? How long would it be before Geraldo Rivera would be sensationalizing the exploitation of portraying illegals, sorry, undocumented workers, in a bad light?

Let me be clear, I have no problem with folks immigrating to America, Mexican or otherwise, so long as they come here legally, want to be here and are productive citizens who obey the law and aren't rambling about how we need to adapt to their culture, instead of the other way around. If you love your country; fine. Stay there and work to change things in your country. American is my country and if I prefer your country I'll move their and embrace your culture.

Portraying decent gun owners or people who oppose illegal immigration as domestic terrorists is unconscionable and should be exposed and fought.

WAIT! STOP THE PRESS! I've had a half hour to think on this and have decided to re-write my scenario. In an effort to celebrate diversity and make the scenario as inclusive as possible I've changed it to the following:

A black trans-gender, upset over never having been to Africa purchases a Chinese-made handgun from a Muslim terroist they met at an anti-tea party rally. They then drive their Eco-friendly Prios, running on fuel purchased from Venezuela to the school, while trying to sext on their cell phone and load Russian made ammo into their Chinese made hand gun at the same time. Realizing they haven't had their Starbucks coffee with extra caffeine the shooter goes across the street from the street (Casa de Kaka) to get a strong caffeine-laced coffee.

While at Starbucks the shooter gets into a conversation with a patron over the misuse of handicap stickers.

Being even more enraged, now, the shooter goes back to the other side of Casa de Kaka, pulls out the Chinese made handgun with the Russian made ammo and begins firing while rambling something about finding out they really aren't African at all, but Dutch. Did I miss anyone?

Or, we can just go with something more realistic. How 'bout a whack job of your own nationality choosing who is just pissed off at the world and would shoot you over anything. You know, like the one who shot Congressman Gabby Giffords and 12 others?

Contrary to efforts from moron-extraordinaire sheriff Clarence Dupnik to portray the shooter about like the Iowa school scenario does, the shooter had no interest in right wing politics, talk radio, Sarah Palin, the Pope, soggy corn flakes or anything else. He's a whack-job who would probably be set off because he didn't like the color of your shoes. I'm bored of having gun owners or people opposed to illegal immigration portrayed as being extremists.

Union compares MLK fight for sanitation worker's rights

The lengths the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) will go to seems to be boundless.

In a recent email to AFGE members the AFGE president, John Gage tells us of Dr. Marin Luther King being assasinated on April 4, 1968 while going to stand with sanitation workers "demanding their dream".

A few years ago I told my local AFGE union representaive that I wanted the form to quit AFGE. He asked why. I told him I was tired of my union dues going to only liberal candidates like Obama. I went on to explain that the union never supports conservative candidates. He said, "Well, we have to go with who is best for us." I told him to explain who "us" was. I told him the "us" he referred to was him and his fellow union hierarchy going to Hawaii each year on our dues money.

I told him that candidates like Obama have a socialist agenda. He replied, "What's wrong with that!" Nuff said.

In Geraldo Rivera's latest offering of non-sensical giberish he opines the influx of Mexican population into the U.S. can be likened to the Irish coming to America in 1847, following the potato famine.

According to Geraldo, "I argue the transformation will help renew and replenish the country." Really? With what? Contrary to our twit Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, the borders are NOT safer than ever before. I know that for a fact. It isn't conjecture or racisct speculation; I live about 85 miles from the Mexican border and see the stories in the local newspaper on a daily basis.

Each morning starts with me reading the news or witnessing it first hand. I can systimatically show where murder, rape, kidnappings and drug arrests have dramatically increased in a matter of just a few years. I also file these newspaper reports and can show you that about 3 out of 4 times it involves someone with a Mexican surname. I can also show where many times an illegal (no, I didn't say the politically correct term of, 'undocumented workers')Mexican national was involed gets 3-5 years for murdering someone while at the same time a non-latino gets sentenced to 20+ years for armed robbery. That isn't racism or speculation -- that's a fact.

We also know that illegals routinely vote in elections and they vote for Democrats. Again, that has been documented and isn't a baseless claim on my part. It's not surprising that Democrats trying to get elected will do whatever it takes to get elected -- even if it involves harming the country to that end result.

Another fact Gerlado neglects to mention is the Irish wanted to be in this country, didn't demand preferential treatment and didn't fly Irish flags on top of a U.S. flag displayed below it upside down. The Irish weren't trying to turn America into Ireland on welfare.

Wake up, folks. There is a correct way of immigrating into America and those who are not willing to go that path are looking for amnesty after breaking the law. Those who come here legally WANT to be here and WANT to contribute to the betterment of American -- not its demise and exploitation.

"The best part is just going around and seeing all of the people who are active, who are making a difference in Tucson, who are making a better future for peace and for justice," said organizer, Joe Bernick. Tell me, Joe, what can you point to that indicates to you that your actions have promoted peace and justice? Peace is not merely defined as the absence of war. The Jews were at peace with Nazi Germany. Of course the Nazis were slaughtering them and torturing them because they had no way to defend themselves. As an aside, most Jews felt registering their firearms was pretty innocuous. The term today is, ‘reasonable gun laws’ and many here didn't learn from the Jews.

‘wishing upon a star’ won’t cut it, old chap and ‘justice’; well, what is your definition of justice, Joe? Are you and your ilk really that naïve or are you just dumber than a box of rocks, (no offense to those rock collectors out there who read my blog)? I would ask Joe, other than rhetorically, but I’m terrified of what his definition might be.

I’m sure it involves all of those evil capitalists turning over their profits they worked for to you and your friends to build communes where we can all sit by the campfire and sing, Michael rowed the boat ashore – right after they throw their Frisbees in hopes that whoever our enemy de jour would be at that time, would not kill them or torture their family members.

The fair claims "We may never have complete peace, but we may have less war, and we may never eliminate crime, but we can have less crime. It's all about making a better world." I ask again, Joe, what can you point to that would indicate your activities are helping to achieve that goal? Take your time, I’ll wait. Joe and his band of misfits are the type of folks who believe the only way to make the world better is to work toward the demise of the evil United States. Then the world would be filled with peace and harmony.

If only we could be more like 3rd world countries that are run my dictators and where rape, murder and torture are the rule of he day and where the standard of living is horrible, we could be better. Here’s a map, Joe. Why don’t you and your gang jump in your beige Volvo and drive to one of them. Wait – better yet, hike there; it will leave a smaller carbon footprint.

Of course what would a sit-in be without the loons from Code Pink? Code Pink is an anti-war organization of mainly women who are devoted to stopping new wars and redirecting funds to aid health care, education and "green" jobs. Hummmm, “re-directing funds”, you say. And where do those funds come from? Certainly not from people who actually work for a living. Code Pink doesn’t have time to do that, in between running around the country, bad-mouthing our military men and women who protect Code Pinks’ right to be stupid. I'm certain Code pink was thrilled when that closet member, Barack Obama decided to give information about every Trident missile the US supplies to Britain to Russia as part of an arms control deal.

It may sound cliché, and certainly beyond the understanding of the Birkenstock crowd, but freedom really isn’t free and good people have died so that people like you can run around like left-over hippies from the 60’s and have your sit-ins, (fairs) and “celebrate unity, tolerance and justice today at the 29th annual Tucson Peace Fair and Music Festival.”

I am, by no stretch of the imagination, a big fan of war. I wish they would throw a war and no one show up. to men in the Islamic culture. So much so,
that often they are beaten for not wearing the
'hajib' or for talking to a man who is not a
direct family member or their husband.
Yep, the Muslims are all for women's rights,
aren't they?

Where were
Muslims during World War II? They were
aligned with Adolf Hitler. The Muslim
grand mufti himself met with Adolf Hitler,
reviewed the troops and accepted support from
the Nazi's in killing Jews.

Finally,
Mr. Obama, where were Muslims on Sept. 11th,
2001? If they weren't flying planes into
the World Trade Center , the Pentagon or a field
in Pennsylvania killing nearly 3,000 people on
our own soil, they were rejoicing in the Middle
East . No one can dispute the pictures
shown from all parts of the Muslim world
celebrating on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and other
cable news networks that day. Strangely,
the very "moderate" Muslims who's asses you bent
over backwards to kiss in Cairo , Egypt on June
4th were stone cold silent post 9-11. To
many Americans, their silence has meant approval
for the acts of that day.

And THAT, Mr.
Obama, is the "rich heritage" Muslims have here
in America ..

Oh, I'm sorry, I
forgot to mention the Barbary Pirates.

add November 5, 2009 - the slaughter of American

Is Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik responsible for death threats against Tucson Tea Party Co-founder?

Only hours after the tragic shooting in front of the Safeway grocery store in Tucson and without any evidence to substantiate his claim Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik blamed the shooting on everyone including but not limited to, Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Fox News and the Tea Party. Apparently the shooter, Jared Loughner had no culpability in the shooting. He was just a victim of the so-called ‘vitriolic’ talk from the aforementioned. ‘Vitriol’, for the uninformed is any talk that goes against liberal policy.

Even after it was learned that the shooter didn’t listen to Sarah Palin, Limbaugh, Beck or Fox News Dupnik and others continued their rant, apparently in a shameless effort to subscribe to White House Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel’s credo of, “Never let a good crisis go to waste.”

Since the ‘Duper’ planted the notion that the Tea Party was one of the guilty parties responsible for the shooting one can only deduct that it was that vitriolic talk from the sheriff that inspired Tucson liberal activist Eric Fuller to turn to Tucson Tea Party co-founder Trent Humphries, point a camera at him, take his picture and yell, “you’re dead!”

As Fuller was being forcibly led from the nationally televised News program he was calling members of the audience, “whores”. He also was quoted as saying he wouldn’t appear on Fox News because they would attack him and he would yell at them that they were whores. He apparently likes the term. Probably something only Freud could properly address.

The only thing that we are sure about at this time is according to Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik, the shooting was the fault of Sarah Palin, Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, people who disagree with the far left liberal agenda and the Tea Party. We also know that Eric Fuller also blames the same group for the shooting and likes to call people ‘whores’.

Fuller is currently under psychiatric observation and he faces charges of threats and intimidation and disorderly conduct. The charges will be dropped, however if Tea Party member, Humphries decides not to press charges. Personally I would press charges. I think it’s save to say Fuller would be short-stroking it when it came to pressing charges against Humphries if the rolls were reversed. Oh, and about ‘good will’ – forget about that. Playing nice with liberals will not buy you any gratitude or points. It’s a one-way street as far as they are concerned.

The final, and possibly most important thing we know is that the ‘Duper’ and Fuller, along with the media whores (sorry, I’m just trying to get a feel for why Fuller likes to use the term so much) have in common is they don’t have a shred of evidence to back their claims – especially since we now know that Jared Loughner didn’t listen to any of the outlets that Dupnik and Fuller claim are responsible. Do facts really matter with liberals? Nah; facts only get in the way. Same thing for standards. They have a double set. One for them and one for the rest of us.

One last thought, will Fuller be a prohibited possessor of a firearm now? He should be, in my opinion. If Fuller murders someone down the road, will Dupnik accept blame for Fuller’s actions? Nah, it’s a rhetorical question.

We didn't have to wait long for the anti-gun community to attempt to capitalize on the shooting tragedy in Tucson, AZ.

They predictably prescribe to the Rahn Emanuel credo of: "Never let a good crisis go to waste." They are, in my mind despicable.

There are over 20,000 gun control laws on the books right now. Do they really think number 20,001 is going to be the one that does it? They are illogical morons with no intellectual credibility. They will attempt to equate any resistance to their nonsenseical rhetoric to those of us who use logic, rather than hype as being callous.
Don't fall for it and don't let their attempts go unchallenged.

“Never let a good crisis go to waste.”

Yesterday was a sad day for Tucson, for the nation and for the friends and families of the murdered and wounded at a town hall meeting in Tucson.

Gabrielle Giffords was holding one of her many town hall meetings at a local strip mall on the northwest side of Tucson.

It’s reported that approximately 10 minutes into the meet and greet a lone gunman, 22-year-old Jared Loughner walked up to Congresswoman Giffords and shot her in the head at point-blank range. He then began firing his 9 mm. Glock 19 indiscriminately, resulting in the deaths of 5 others, including a federal judge and a 9-year-old little girl.

As the shooter attempted to put a fresh mag in the firearm a woman in the crowd wrestled them away from him. Two men in the crowd wrestled the shooter to the ground. One of them was grazed by a bullet but refused medical treatment until the others were attended to. The woman and the two men are heroes.

As is so often the case, there was much misinformation at first. The news initially reported that Giffords had been shot in the head at close range. Then they reported that she had died. It was later learned that she was in surgery and was in critical condition but they were cautiously optimistic.

In the interest of full disclosure I will offer that I disagree with Congresswoman Giffords on many issues and agree with her on some others. When I heard of the shooting it was as though a friend had been shot, however. When it was reported that she had died from her wound it was as though I had lost a friend. We weren’t friends who went out for dinner or exchanged gifts. As a matter of fact she wouldn’t know me if I was standing beside her in a restaurant. Still, I could disagree on political policies with her and not consider her inherently evil. She never struck me as that kind of person.

In my mind another tragedy was committed following the horrendous act that needlessly took the lives of innocent people and left others wounded. That tragedy was the interview by Pima County Sheriff, Clearance Dupnik. The good sheriff, a man visibly, and understandably shaken by the events of the day decided to subscribe to former White House Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel’s credo of, “Never let a good crisis go to waste.”

Dupnik, not content to merely give, “just the facts”, opted to go on a rant in a thinly-veiled attack on right-wing media, the tea-party and ostensibly anyone who disagrees with the far-left radical movement and implying that it was in some way their fault for the shooting.

When the sheriff was first introduced he gave a brief statement and said he would be followed by the Arizona state representative for the FBI. He looked as though he was irritated that another agency would dare infringe on his authority. He introduced the FBI agent as, “Nate Gray”, then he looked back toward the agent as though he was annoyed that it was a new person and said, “Used to be, Green.” It was at that point Dupnik shrugged his shoulders as if to say, “Whatever” and went back to addressing the news people.

After a brief sit rep (situation report), Dupnik went into typical Dupnik/Rahn Emanuel mode and launch into a nonsensical tirade on those he thought to be responsible for the senseless shooting.

“The suspected shooter is Jared Lee Loughner, a 22-year-old who lives on the northwest side. He is mentally unstable and may have had an accomplice, Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik said Saturday evening.”

I’m not a real psychiatrist and don’t even play one on TV, but I would submit that I find Clarence to be mentally unstable and decidedly an anti-gun, elitist ideologue who attempted to blame the tragedy on the “…vitriolic rhetoric that we hear day-to-day from people in the radio business and some people in the TV business. This has not become the nice United States of America that most of us grew up in.” The sheriff went on to say, ala: Raul Grijalva, Arizona has become the capital of bigotness and prejudice. Sort of reminds me of an old proverb that states it's better to be a fool than to open your mouth and confirm it. Sheriff, you really shouldn't miss a good oportunity to shut up when you're making a fool of yourself on national TV.

Megan Kelly, a news anchor on Fox News and a very accomplished attorney asked Dupnik if he had anything in his investigation to substantiate his claim of the so-called vitriol of TV and radio inflaming the shooter.

Dupnik went on a diatribe that had nothing to do with the question. In true Megan Kelly fashion, Kelly kept pressing the sheriff as to whether he had anything to back his claims of whether the shooter had even listened to TV or radio commentators. In the end he had to admit that it was only his opinion. When Megan asked if he should be adding fuel to the fire he answered, "I guess that will be for your viewers to decide." The man is a moron! I don't want him shot, either. I just want him voted out. He's an embarrasment to our comunity.

It doesn’t take a giant leap to figure out who that statement was directed at – any radio or television host who disagrees with far left Democrat ideologues or people bothered by the constant attack on the Right to keep and bear arms by law-abiding citizens. He’s never been bashful about his views on private ownership of firearms.

Rest assured that Dupnik, Obama and all the anti-gun populace will be short-stroking this tragedy in an attempt to advance their anti-gun agenda and their quest for endless gun laws. Lest you think I'm exagerating:

As someone who is trained in personal protection I can assure you that anytime you have someone who is willing to trade their life for yours, you have a tough road to hoe. It is already illegal to murder someone. The law is very tough on the murder or attempted murder of a Congress person and especially a federal judge. Clearly he was not going to be deterred by any law – especially a gun law. This guy was a nut job (don’t ya love people knowledgeable in medical terms), in my opinion. He had a long history, going back to high school days as an outcast and very disturbed.

I, and many others have political disagreements with our politicians. Having a political disagreement with someone doesn’t equate to a desire to murder those who disagree with us, however. Lord knows I disagree with how our current President is running our country. I also disagreed many times with how President Bush was running the country. I know of many who feel the same, but like me have never entertained the idea of killing them. You simply work to have them voted out of office next time and hope for the best.

What this terrible tragedy has shown us is
1. If someone is willing to trade their life for yours, gun laws won’t stop them.
2. Democrats like Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik and others will not pass up an opportunity to subscribe to the Rahm Emanuel credo of, “Never let a good crisis go to waste.”
3. Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik really is worse than even I thought and needs to be replaced in the next election. He’s a politician – not a sheriff.

The shooter is a deranged person who’s problems have been well-documented long before the so-called ‘vitriol’ Dupnik spoke of.

Here’s to a full and speedy recovery, Gabby. I’ll be praying for it.

It's going to be at least a month before they can decide if it's what they want. Do keep in mind that for every one tactical nuke the U.S. has, the Russians have 10!

Medeved and Putin are laughing at this Harvard grad for being such an idiot. Obama is like the geek who doesn't realize the other kids are laughing with him; they're laughing *at* him and all of his so-called 'progressives' for being so stupid.

I will say it again, he and his ilk have done more to destroy this nation in two years than the Russians could ever hope to accomplish in decades. Why Did it Have to be ... Guns?

Over the past 30 years, I've been paid to write almost two million words, every one of which, sooner or later, came back to the issue of guns and gun-ownership. Naturally, I've thought about the issue a lot, and it has always determined the way I vote.

People accuse me of being a single-issue writer, a single- issue thinker, and a single- issue voter, but it isn't true. What I've chosen, in a world where there's never enough time and energy, is to focus on the one political issue which most clearly and unmistakably demonstrates what any politician -- or political philosophy -- is made of, right down to the creamy liquid center.

Make no mistake: all politicians -- even those ostensibly on the side of guns and gun ownership -- hate the issue and anyone, like me, who insists on bringing it up. They hate it because it's an X-ray machine. It's a Vulcan mind-meld. It's the ultimate test to which any politician -- or political philosophy -- can be put.

If a politician isn't perfectly comfortable with the idea of his average constituent, any man, woman, or responsible child, walking into a hardware store and paying cash -- for any rifle, shotgun, handgun, machinegun, anything -- without producing ID or signing one scrap of paper, he isn't your friend no matter what he tells you.

If he isn't genuinely enthusiastic about his average constituent stuffing that weapon into a purse or pocket or tucking it under a coat and walking home without asking anybody's permission, he's a four-flusher, no matter what he claims.

What his attitude -- toward your ownership and use of weapons -- conveys is his real attitude about you. And if he doesn't trust you, then why in the name of John Moses Browning should you trust him?

If he doesn't want you to have the means of defending your life, do you want him in a position to control it?

If he makes excuses about obeying a law he's sworn to uphold and defend -- the highest law of the land, the Bill of Rights -- do you want to entrust him with anything?

If he ignores you, sneers at you, complains about you, or defames you, if he calls you names only he thinks are evil -- like "Constitutionalist" -- when you insist that he account for himself, hasn't he betrayed his oath, isn't he unfit to hold office, and doesn't he really belong in jail?

Sure, these are all leading questions. They're the questions that led me to the issue of guns and gun ownership as the clearest and most unmistakable demonstration of what any given politician -- or political philosophy -- is really made of.

He may lecture you about the dangerous weirdos out there who shouldn't have a gun -- but what does that have to do with you? Why in the name of John Moses Browning should you be made to suffer for the misdeeds of others? Didn't you lay aside the infantile notion of group punishment when you left public school -- or the military? Isn't it an essentially European notion, anyway -- Prussian, maybe -- and certainly not what America was supposed to be all about?

And if there are dangerous weirdos out there, does it make sense to deprive you of the means of protecting yourself from them? Forget about those other people, those dangerous weirdos, this is about you, and it has been, all along.

Try it yourself: if a politician won't trust you, why should you trust him? If he's a man -- and you're not -- what does his lack of trust tell you about his real attitude toward women? If "he" happens to be a woman, what makes her so perverse that she's eager to render her fellow women helpless on the mean and seedy streets her policies helped create? Should you believe her when she says she wants to help you by imposing some infantile group health care program on you at the point of the kind of gun she doesn't want you to have?

On the other hand -- or the other party -- should you believe anything politicians say who claim they stand for freedom, but drag their feet and make excuses about repealing limits on your right to own and carry weapons? What does this tell you about their real motives for ignoring voters and ramming through one infantile group trade agreement after another with other countries?

Makes voting simpler, doesn't it? You don't have to study every issue -- health care, international trade -- all you have to do is use this X-ray machine, this Vulcan mind-meld, to get beyond their empty words and find out how politicians really feel. About you. And that, of course, is why they hate it.

And that's why I'm accused of being a single-issue writer, thinker, and voter.

But it isn't true, is it?

The following rebuttal is mine alone. I do not speak for my husband, for my friends, for my children, but solely for myself.

I am tired of being told to sit down and shut up.

I am tired of being told what I can and can not say.

What is “acceptable”, while my ideas and values are mocked and trampled.

Enough. I have had enough.

I remained stoic when your acolytes spit on my car and called my husband a “baby killer” when I crossed through your phalanx at Walter Reed to take my children for medical care. I refused to respond as you smashed your fists into the hood of my car, destroyed my mirrors with bottles and keyed my doors in California, my children mute and terrified as you screamed your hate and bile.

I remained calm the day after 9/11 when the progressives in my office, in typical overwrought hyperbole of your side, were shrieking about “TANKS IN THE STREETS”, when in fact it was nothing more than two National Guardsman, fresh-face boys of about 19, stationed at an intersection, armed with whistles and a Humvee, deployed as extra eyes and ears two blocks from the White House.

I stayed silent when your leadership called my friends and my husbands' colleagues “Cold Blooded Killers” and judged them guilty in the court of media opinion.

I turned the other cheek when your liberal propaganda outfits refused to report on the humanitarian success stories in Iraq and Afghanistan, but delighted in the roll call of the lost as a way to bludgeon and demoralize our military.

I stopped listening to CNN and MSNBC when they openly reported lies about Marines in OIF – I know-- my husband was one of them.

I began paying attention to FOX news when only they – Oliver North, Bill Hemmer and like-minded conservatives like G. Gordon Liddy, had the courage to travel into the most dangerous parts of the battlespace to actually report on the successes of the surge, rather than filing reports that affirmed the narrative of the LSM from behind the Jersey barriers of the Green Zone.

I have been silent long enough. I have bent, I have yielded, I have endured slander, dishonesty, ad hominem attacks and actual physical threats.

Anger is a powerful motivator.

I began to push back. The first time was when I decided to counter demonstrate against the Code Pink harridans who had set up shop outside the Pvt Bolio gate at the Defense Language Institute on November 18, 2007 to ostensibly run a “Torture Teach-In” and to demonize and excoriate our troops.

Approaching them first with logic, facts and civility didn't work.
I explained that the School of Americas isn't even on the west coast (it's on the east coast), and has nothing to do with the mission of DLI.

That pertinent fact was “irrelevant” and dismissed.

I then patiently explained that the SOA does not teach “torture”, and that policy is in contravention to the doctrine of our military forces.

I was called a liar.

I tried a third time to explain that my husband had just returned from a tour of duty in Iraq where he was an advisor to the Iraqi army, and he had specifically advised them against torture as a method of intelligence gathering and intimidation.

I was called naïve.

So, you see, I have had multiple first hand encounters where it has been obvious that your side is intellectually lazy, refuses to do their own research, and dismisses facts that don't fit with the pre-established narrative.

I then disengaged, but not before telling them I was personally very proud of my husband, and the thousands of other men and women in uniform, who chose to defend their right to conduct protests, (even fallacious ones) against US policy and the military, but asked simply that they honor that by being at least honest with their facts and information.

No acknowledgment.

My girlfriends and I then retreated to my home where we elected to play by their rules and stage a protest against their encampment and Islamofascist “love-in”. We tried very hard to channel our best moonbattery, but it was difficult, since we were still tethered to reality.

Some of our signage included:

Hands off my clitoris.
Got Freedom – Thank a Vet!
My husband fights for your right to protest!

We staged ourselves on the sidewalk on Lighthouse Avenue, with our backs to Camp Pink(o), and facing the oncoming traffic.

We got honks, cheers, chuckles, and a plethora of thumbs-up out of the windows of passing cars.
In very liberal, deep blue Monterey.

The Pinkies were very pleased with this turn of events, and started to cheer as well when cars gave us an energetic “toot-toot” of approval.

Then we turned around to face them and showed them our signs.

Some moments in time are priceless. That is one I will cherish for a long time. The look of the faces of the Camp Pink(o) will be forever etched in my mind.

The Left likes to use what they believe to be witty signage (although I am not sure how BUSHCHIMPHITLER qualifies as “witty”), props and sheer numbers of die hard believers and rent-a-students to validate the “justness” of their cause-du-jour and to manufacture a sense of widespread support for their “issue”.

So we took your tools and began to employ them against you. And you don't like it very much. Except we don't have to pay anyone to come to our rallies, and that just infuriates you further.

I don't “do” protests, because I think the time and resources are better employed elsewhere. I also don't do sarcasm and contempt well either, because I prefer to discuss facts and measurable outcomes, but you have framed the terms of the engagement, and I am learning as fast as I can.

Contrary to your false accusations against the genesis of the Tea Party, I began protesting the bailouts before Obama was selected and around the time that McCain had elected to suspend his campaign in order to rush back to Washington to sell us all out.

I went to the big April 15th rally with a “violent” sign forged from pink posterboard which simply stated, “Give all of Congress Pink Slips”. Frightening imagery, I know.

I went to the first 9/12 rally in DC, which you did your best to disrupt by shutting down the orange metro line and turning away buses, and which your scribes and stenographers diminished and which the White House refused to acknowledge. We weren't deterred. We were there. We knew the size of the crowd – and more importantly – the fastness of their determination. A sleeping giant had been awakened.

I went to 8-28 and to the following 9-12 rally. I began commenting on blogs, writing letters to the editor, and showing up for Tea Party strategy sessions.

I donated money to outlier Tea Party candidates who were mocked by the “all knowing” media and had been dismissed by the Establishment. Some of them actually won. They are the hired mercenaries of the Tea Party. Do not underestimate or misunderstand their mission and their support. They are on the front lines in the upcoming battle of ideas and the direction of our nation.

No where in the history of civilization has the welfare state succeeded over the long term. From Plato to Thatcher, warnings about the propensity for the professional politicians to expand the looting of the public treasury and to debase the currency as a mechanism for retaining power has been well documented and a rallying cry for sound money and conservative principles.

I challenge you to name one state where it has survived longer than two generations, for it is nothing more than a Ponzi scheme predicated on the willingness of our youth to voluntarily shackle themselves.

You have seized the public schools and the universities and conducted a purge of any non-compliant conservatives; a massive re-education for the faculty was in order. You believe you can turn our children against us. Unfortunately for you, all it takes is one look at their first paycheck as working adults for them to question the validity of your wealth redistributive economic policies. Your side knows you can not prevail on the battlefield of open and honest ideas, so you retreat behind the fortification of expanded regulation, unelected czars who rule by decree and diktat, and a boy-king who is being urged by the janissaries to complete the transformation to a totalarian state by executive orders.

Except, that to emplace your policies and “vision” requires the consent of the people. You can not hire enough guards, build enough prisons, operate enough courts to entrap and control the whole population of these (for-now) united states. It only takes a small percentage of dissenters, non-conformists and cascading acts of strategic civil disobedience to bring your entire command-and-control crashing all around you. Decapitating by legal and tax retributive means, a few titular heads of the resistance, will only serve to strengthen and embolden the diffuse movement. Look back at how the Solidarity movement was organized and how it ultimately prevailed before you declare Victory.

Your side has chosen to engage in a low-level, asymmetric campaign for decades. Deceit, dishonesty and exploiting the mechanisms of state have been your weapons.

Unfortunately for you, you can no longer hide and your methods have been revealed and exposed for what they are. The Fabian operational concepts are only successful when they are hidden and cloaked in disingenuous “narrative”. Thousands now are aware of, and have read, Alinsky and his fellow socialists and have formulated a counter strategy.

At first, your team mocked and lied and delighted in debasing our ideals and beliefs. Why wouldn't you feel confident? It had worked so well in the past, and you had the stenography class to support you.

Then you lowered yourselves even further by deriding anyone not in agreement with your viewpoint as “low information voters”. Given what we know now about the mortgage fraud, the chicanery of the stimulus, the hidden deceptions of Obamacare … who, pray tell, is the “low information” voter?

You were jubilant November, 2008. You strutted, you crowed, you reveled. Newsweek triumphantly declared, “We are all Socialists Now!”.

Except for one thing. You misunderstood the battlespace. You failed to recognize the numbers who stayed home rather than vote for a progressive RINO like McCain. You misread the temperment of the people, who wanted an end to the theft, the lies, the spending, the corruption and the deceit. Instead, you doubled down.

The people went underground. Everyday work folk, alarmed at the rising tide of tyranny and the rhetoric of hate, weary of the false accusations and the lies, joined the libertarian and conservatives and forged an underground resistance. The town halls in that raucous summer were not an aberration – they are the new norm. Get used to it.

Word spread – from uncensored blogs, to private e-mails and forwarded commentary, meet-ups large and small, the resistance grew and strengthened. There were gatherings of the clans across the nation. The movement began to grown organically, a leadership structure evolved, and a long term plan developed.

Are you paying for the ‘Sanctuary city’ scam?

Are taxpayers paying for sanctuary cities to skirt enforcement laws? In a word – YES.

A report from the Center for Immigration Studies says $62.2 million dollars was allocated to a program known as SCAAP. That’s 15% of its annual budget of $400 million. The money went to 27 jurisdictions that included cities such as, San Francisco, Chicago and the county of Santa Clara in California.

The same cities and counties that are refusing to obey illegal immigration laws are demanding subsidizing from the government (that would be you and I as law-abiding taxpayers) for the cost of illegal immigration. Yep, they refuse to alert the Customs Enforcement folks, but demand money in the form of federal grants. That’s ridiculous – or so one would think. Apparently the feds don’t see it that way. They are giving OUR (because the government has no money other than what they take from us – taxpayers) to these cities and counties.

According to Department of Justice figures $14.2 million went to Los Angeles County, $13.4 million to New York City and another $88 million to the state of California.

I have a novel idea. Why not charge those cities and states for not enforcing the law. It winds up costing the rest of us in the form of crime, and services rendered; just to touch the tip of the iceberg? As a matter of fact, they owe the taxpayers for all the $millions they’ve been fraudulently receiving. But that’s just me.

Oklahoma may have to allow Shariah Law

The good people of Oklahoma recently passed a law which bans Shariah Law.
It would seem, thanks to the outgoing Oklahoma Attorney General, Oklahoma may be forced to allow the religion of choice for people who think so-called ‘honor killings’, amputations, stoning people to death and genital mutilation of women and girls to be considered in court cases. “Well, isn’t that special.”

What is happening in our country! Where has common sense gone? Since Obama took over (and that’s probably a good way of putting it) the White House, all our enemies have been emboldened. He’s alienated all of our former allies, who probably couldn’t be paid to support the U.S. ever again – or at least not while Obama and his cast of idiots are in charge. Maybe not even after that. Trust is a hard thing to earn and he’s already thrown all of that out the window.

This is a man who goes out of his way to tell the Muslim people that America is a “Muslim nation” and refuses to address any issue that would lend a negative view of Jihadists.

I’ve said this many times and it bears repeating, Obama, with the help of a willing army of Liberals, Socialists and Marxists has done more to harm our great country than the Commies could ever hope to accomplish in decades.

With the exception of the morons who chose to re-elect Barbara Boxer, Harry Reid, Raul Grijalva and Jerry Brown we gave a sound “shellacking” to Obama’s policies.

Prior to the mid-term elections Obama spoke of the Republicans having to ride in the back of the Liberal bus.

That didn’t work out so well for ‘Barry’. Still, Obama, Ed Randell and the rest of the Kool Aid drinkers still don’t get it. They think we’re just too stupid to understand. Oh, no, Barry; we understand. We understand only too well. Come 2012 you’re out of here and we’ll be faced with the daunting task of trying to clean up your mess. As my friend, Guy said, Obama is like the captain of the Titanic. He's announced it's time for a course correction, shortly before the collision." Given Obama's propensity for arrogance, if he were captain of the Titanic he would say the iceberg would have to make a course correction.

Personally, I think it’s time for impeachment proceeding against Obama before he can do any more damage than he already has. It’s not like he hasn’t provided us with enough justification. He’s used the Constitution of the United States like cheap toilet paper and has made it clear that the Constitution is just a hindrance to him and it means whatever he says it means. The Framers of our Constitution must be rolling in their graves!

To all those idiots who wanted to elect Obama just to prove we aren’t a racist nation, with no regard for his experience, associations with radicals or his views… Thanks a lot, jerks! My problem is with his policies – not his being half black and half white (of course he ignores the fact his mother was white). That sounds racist to me.

Every day I commiserate with others who overwhelmingly agree Obama and his followers are leading America in the wrong direction. I suppose the question in the back of my mind is, what are we going to do about it? We are supposed to have laws in place to prevent the damage he’s done from happening. Why isn’t anyone using the tools available? I’m not naïve enough to think it would be easy or even something that could be accomplished; but we need to show we won’t tolerate it anymore, just like we sent a message to liberals that we will no longer sit by while they destroy our nation with their far-left radical views.

It’s time to start exploring ways of removing this saboteur from his throne. It won’t be cheap and it won’t be easy but I would dang sure contribute time and money to any viable legal challenge. Two years may not seem like a long time but look at what he’s already accomplished in two years. Oklahoma is just the beginning of what Obama has in mind for us and our children and grandchildren. Time’s a wastin’.

Truth in advertising replaced by Political Correctness

The warning signs put up on public land northwest of Tucson have been replaced by kinder and gentler signs.

The original signs put up by the BLM warned visitors that the area was active with human and drug smuggling and visitors may encounter "armed criminals and smuggling vehicles." That is what is known as truth in advertising.

Unfortunately, truth in advertising has been replaced in the interest of PC. The new signs say, "VISITOR INFORMATION UPDATE"

Clean-up restoration crews at work
Contact BLM Rangers for current area status

Pleeeeeease! You can take your kinder and gentler signs and use them for emergency enemas. The old signs were accurate and I'm not a PC kind of guy.

And while we're at it, how is it that a federal judge felt it was OK for 11 Mexican interests to file amicus - Latin (friend of the court) briefs with the court? Does anyone believe Mexico would allow Americans to file a friend-of-the-court brief in a Mexican court? It's a rhetorical question. The answer is, "Hell, no!" And a federal judge has no legal justification for allowing the Mexican government to file one in an American court!

At what point are we going to demand the inmates quit running the asylum?
