Was Fraud Used In Indiana County To Get Obama On The Ballot?

There are some folks in a Indiana county that are more than a bit peeved to find out their signatures were forged on a petition to get Obama on the ballot.

Seems St. Joseph County Board of Voter Registration worker Dustin Blythe has been identified as having identical handwriting to the forged signatures.

When asked about the fact the signatures were forged and the handwriting matched his, Blythe said, "No comment."

There is no doubt in my mind that the 2008 Presidential election was the most corrupt in American history.

The nation’s largest civil rights organization is claiming foul and it’s taking its case to the United Nations. I guess “There ain’t no cure for the summertime blues” when it comes to the NAACP.

As Rush Limbaugh says, “It should be called the NAALCP – The National Association of LIBERAL colored people.” Why is that, you ask? Because they only defend LIBERAL black – not Conservative blacks. We saw how the NAACP took Conservative blacks like Clearance Thomas and Herman Cain to task. They were accused of being sellouts and “Uncle Toms”.

The NAACP claims individual states in the U.S. are making a concerted effort to prevent the black vote from getting out in the upcoming 2012 Presidential election, citing a whole plethora of new voting laws at the state level. They say 14 states passed 25 measures “designed to restrict or limit the ballot access of voters of color.”

So, what are these new proposed draconian laws and how will they prevent ‘voters of color’ from voting? The proposed laws, largely passed by Republican-dominated legislatures include such egregious things as requirement to present photo ID at the polls, voting restrictions of felons and limitations on registration and early voting periods.

Why, those are the same regulations that the rest of us are subjected to! That’s not fair! Those bastards!

Does anyone remember how Al Franken was elected? I’ll refresh your memory. Ultra Liberal Al Franken demanded a recount of the votes. The recount went on for months. Every time they would recount the votes, Franken would amazingly get more votes and his opponent, Coleman, wouldn’t. Statistically realistic? Not so much.

Anyway, Franken eeked ahead of Coleman and was declared the winner and sworn in just prior to a critical vote needed by the Democrats. Oh, by-the-way, it was later determined that Franken really wasn’t the winner because he was pushed over by a number of felon voters who weren’t eligible to vote. They said it was tough, though because he’d already been sworn in.

How ‘bout the shenanigans of ACORN? Voter fraud, you ask? Just a LOT! How about voter intimidation at polling places by members of the New Black Panther movement? Well, sure, but it was important to make sure America’s ‘first black President’ was elected. BTW, his mother is white. Like, OMG!, as they say in texting vernacular.

Of course our U.S. Attorney General, Eric Holder refuses to prosecute those members of the New Black Panther Movement for standing outside a polling place, openly holding night sticks in their hands, intimidating voters going into the poling place. Eric Holder has a track record of not prosecuting a number of folks that he believes to be for the betterment of our current administration. He allegedly claims that he is black, first and U.S. Attorney General, second. If he believes that way, he’s certainly convinced me.

Well the NAACP is certainly not going to stand for such measures. They intend on arguing their case before the UN. Guys, I have a news flash for you… The UN has no authority over individual states in the U.S.; at least not yet. Obama and the Dems would like to change that, however. You see they want to change any and all rules to keep them in power, without regard to consequences.

I liken them to a collaborator in war. They think they will be looked upon favorably if anything bad happens. Of course nothing bad could happen as long as they keep those dumb ol’ Republicans out of office. And Obama will be re-elected because he has his record to run on. Wait, maybe the Dems do have a problem, after all.

Tea Party versus 'Occupy' movement

The Tea Party folks were accused of being racist, yet there was no evidence of them being racist at all, albeit I’m sure you could find an isolated case if you looked long and hard enough. Those instances would be antidotal at best.

You don’t have to look hard to find racist in the so-called ‘Occupy Wall Street movement’, however. There are thousands of document instances. There is no shortage of signs with pictures of Communist revolutionary, Che Guevara saying, “Fight for Socialism”, either

The Tea Party left things at least as clean or cleaner wherever they were and even had to pay for permits. Not so with the OWS folks. They have taken over public places, left bowel movements on cop cars and in the streets, raped and murdered and have offered up an insane list of demands and still the liberals, including Obama and Nancy Pelosi want to “thank God” for them. There were no cops injured by the Tea Party folks. The same can’t be said of the ‘Occupy’ human debris.

The inmates are running the asylum! The Right to assemble does NOT mean the Right to occupy. These losers have caused us taxpayers $millions of dollars. It’s time to put an end to the madness! It’s time for liberals to stop changing the rules for the OWS morons (and I mean that in the nicest possible way).

Arizona wildfires linked to illegal immigrants

According to a Capitol Media Services story by Howard Fischer, "nearly 40% percent of wildfires on federal land in Southern Arizona" were caused by illegal border crossers. Who knew?

There are other fires that haven't been investigated yet which could cause the number of the 30 out of 77 fires to go even higher.

I remember a few months ago when Senator John McCain was criticized for suggesting such a thing. Looks like he knew what he was talking about after all.

Yep, "Just doing those jobs us Americans don't want to do".

There are many fine people in the U.S. who immigrated from other countries, including Mexico. I have to believe these folks are as upset with this kind of behavior as I am. Not everyone here from other countries condone this kind of behavior. Not everyone who is of Mexican decent is flying a U.S. flag upside down or burning it, either. Unfortunately those people who do are the ones who get the press.

My advice would be to get out of the U.S. if you think your country is better. But that's just me.

It seems Phil is accusing the U.S. of dumping HIS criminals at the Mexican border because it’s cheaper than prosecuting them in the U.S. and causing violence in Mexican border areas.

Get a clue, Phil – they are your citizens! They were criminals and violent BEFORE they illegally entered the U.S.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director John Morton said his agency deported nearly 400,000 people during the fiscal year that ended in September, the largest number of removals in the agency's history. about 55 percent of those deported had felony or misdemeanor convictions. So much for the claim that “They are just here doing those jobs us Americans don’t want to do.” You are absolutely correct, I don’t want those jobs.

The most eye-opening civics lesson I ever had was while teaching third grade this year...

The presidential election was heating up and some of the children showed an interest. I decided we would have an election for a class president.

We would choose our nominees.. They would make a campaign speech and the class would vote. To simplify the process, candidates were nominated by other class members.

We discussed what kinds of characteristics these students should have.
We got many nominations and from those, Jamie and Olivia were picked to run for the top spot.

The class had done a great job in their selections. Both candidates were good kids. I thought Jamie might have an advantage because he got lots of parental support. I had never seen Olivia's mother.

The day arrived when they were to make their speeches. Jamie went first.
He had specific ideas about how to make our class a better Place.
He ended by promising to do his very best.

Everyone applauded and he sat down.

Now is was Olivia's turn to speak. Her speech was concise. She said, "If you will vote for me, I will give you ice cream." She sat down. The class went wild. "Yes! Yes! We want ice cream." She surely would say more. She did not have to.

A discussion followed. How did she plan to pay for the ice cream? She wasn't sure. But no one pursued that question. They took her at her word. Would her parents buy it or would the class pay for it... She didn't know.

The class really didn't care. All they were thinking about was ice cream...

Jamie was forgotten.. Olivia won by a landslide.

Texas High School students forced to recite Mexican National Anthem and Pledge of Allegiance
Last month students at Achieve Early High School in McAllen, Texas were required to recite the Mexican National Anthem and Pledge of Allegiance as part of their intermediate Spanish class. Let me be clear, the school is part of a public high school; not some privately funded institution.
According to the school district it was part of a Spanish class assignment and there was nothing wrong with the lesson.

Each student stood up, wearing Mexican National colors of red, white and green and recited the Mexican anthem and pledge they had to memorize individually. Each student but one, that is. 15-year-old Brenda Brinsdon refused to participate. She also caught it all on video. Apparently Brenda wasn’t keen on being forced to wear another country’s national colors and being forced to recite that foreign country’s national anthem and pledge of allegiance. Good for Brenda.
One can only wonder if Mexico requires their students to wear red, white and blue while reciting the U.S. pledge of allegiance and U.S. national anthem.

Young Brenda correctly noted that “Reciting pledges to Mexico and being loyal to it has nothing to do with learning Spanish.” Ya think? “Why are we doing their (Mexico’s) Independence when it’s Freedom Week and it’s also Constitution Day?” Brinsdon said. Good question, Brenda. Other students (sheeple) continued to make their presentations like good little subjects. The presentations took place over the course of several days. I don’t recall any schools in the U.S. requiring this same level of participation in the course of one day – let alone several days.

A local news organization, The Blaze cited district spokesperson, Mark May as saying, “In my mind it’s no different from memorizing a poem or memorizing a passage from Shakespeare.” I’m certain May would have no problem with the students dressing up as American patriots and reciting the 2nd Amendment. I know I certainly would have no problem with it.

According to May, “It’s up to the teacher how to interpret and teach the standards.” Really? I wonder if Mark would feel the same if the teacher taught a civics class from the perspective of U.S. citizens who are here legally.

May claims, “The students came away with a better understanding of the culture, heritage and customs of a neighboring country where Spanish is the primary language.” He added that the lesson was well received by the other students and parents. By whom; the Mexicans, the teacher and Mark May? Apparently Brenda was the only one in the class who has a functioning brain and wasn’t willing to buy into the bravo sierra. I’m sure Communism was well received by party leaders in Russia, too. Those who didn’t buy into it didn’t live long. Come to think of it, those who disagree with the Mexican drug cartels don’t live long, either.

May went on to opine, “There’s always going to be people [sic] that always feel a little bit differently.” That’s true, Mark. They’re called thinkers and they are quickly chastised and vilified in your world and in the media. When they raise legitimate questions, they are accused of spreading vitriol.

Make no mistake, these kids aren’t getting an education, they’re getting indoctrination.

More stunning defeats for the Democrats

The Democrats were just handed more crushing defeats in New York and in Nevada.

In New York, Republican Bob Turner gave a ‘shellacking’ to Democrat David Weprin in a district that hasn’t had a Republican since the 1920s! The Democrats claim it isn’t a referendum on Obama, though.

How much more in denial can one party be?? Of course it’s a referendum against Obama. The two elections were local but it’s about the continuous discontent of the people against liberal policies.

When people are out of a job and losing their homes liberal bravo sierra will only carry you so far.

You are about to reap the whirlwind come election time and it’s going to be ugly. The only beautiful part will be following the election and watching the U Haul trucks hauling your belongings (and probably some that aren’t yours, ala the Clintons) away.

And now the latest foolishness from our narcissist-in-chief.

While addressing a crowd at North Carolina University the man who never met a mirror he didn’t like said the following, regarding the so-called Jobs Bill that he has yet to provide: “If you love me, you’ve got to help me pass this bill.” No, I’m not joking. I don’t make political jokes – We already have one in the White House.

He went on to tell them that their homework assignment was to “tell your Congress person that the time for gridlock and games is over; the time for action is now.” The gridlock and games would be over, Mr. President if you and your party would stop trying to get Conservatives to aid and abet you in destroying the economy. Compromise doesn’t mean giving up your principals and allow Liberals to do even more damage and give them the opportunity to claim it was bipartisan.

The huge pile of paper that Obama claims is his job stimulus bill has been gone over and it’s nothing but a retread of every other worthless bill he’s come up with. “The rich need to pay their fair share.” Even though they pay most of the taxes and the bottom 45% don’t pay a dime. He wants even more stimulus money (in the face of about a $half billion dollars that was given to Solyndrum, the solar panel company that just filed for bankruptcy and no one knows where the money went.

While on that subject, they actually had the nerve to, you guessed it, try to blame George Bush for that one, too. In 2006 the company applied for a loan while Bush was President. The loan was halted when they found several problems with the company.

Six days after Obama was elected he fast-tracked the loan and went before the cameras (One of his favorite places) and touted the stimulus money given to the company and all the jobs he created. Ehhhhh, not so much.

He just gave another one of his rare speeches where he says there are 153 “structurally deficient” bridges that need to be repaired. The crowd went into applause as he mused, “Why would we wait to act until another bridge fails?”

To quote Bill O’Reilly, “I’m a simple man.” Maybe you can explain to this simple man what the heck you did with the first $Trillion dollars of what you called stimulus money. Wasn’t that suppose to go for bridge repair and other infrastructure projects? Secondly, if you know there are 153 ‘structurally deficient bridges’, why aren’t you closing them? Are we to believe that you’re holding people hostage and allowing them to drive on unsafe bridges unless you get your pathetic excuse for a jobs bill passed?

Instead of going to your same old tired habit of throwing out numbers, like all the jobs your last stimulus bill created in Arizona Congressional districts that don’t exist, how ‘bout giving us the names of the 153 bridges?
More than likely many of the bridges are in the 51-57 additional states of the union that Obama spoke of or the several additional Arizona Congressional districts over and above the 8 we actually have.

Obama is a fake and a fraud who is in way over his head but his ego won’t allow him to accept it. He won’t quit so it’s up to the voters to fire him in 2012.

Each time I watch the television and hear the liberal pundits and politicians spew, what can only be described as blatant dishonesty, I find myself asking myself, “Are they really that stupid? Do they really think we’re that stupid? Or are these pompous paragons of disinformation and misinformation fully cognizant of the lies they’re telling and of the damage they’re causing the country but prefer to put party over country?

They continue to keep telling us the so-called stimulus didn’t work because we just didn’t give them more money. And the only reason the alcoholic wasn’t cured was because we just didn’t give them enough liquor to drink.

I do not believe in enabling these people. Admitting you have a problem is the first step in curing yourself. These people don’t realize they have a problem. They don’t realize they are the problem. Anyone who has a substantive disagreement with Obama’s policies is called a racist. May I remind folks that his mother was white and race has nothing to do with making bad (make that, horrible) policies.

Given the extent they go to in order to hide details from the rest of us who have a functioning brain with the ability to use logic and reason, I can only assume they know they’re trying to pull one over on the American Public.

I’ve know a few decent used car sales people so I won’t belittle them by comparing Obama and his ilk to a used car salesman. It wouldn’t be fair to the used car sales folks.

The President’s speech was exactly that – another political speech.
He actually had the unmitigated gall to say Congress needs to “stop the political circus and actually do something to help the economy.”

Really? Really, Mr. President. You are the ring leader of the circus and couldn’t find your butt or an effective jobs plan with both hands and a hunting dog. You are the architect of this mess. Please don’t have the nerve to act like you’re above it all and somehow you’re the responsible one, asking for the kids to quit with the horse play. It is your mess that you’ve created and the rest of Americans have to suffer with.

You and your ilk, along with the liberal media as willing accomplices have tried to portray the Tea Party and Republicans as obstructionists because they won’t go along with your ill-conceived plans that are destroying America. Would you call a cop who stops the rape of a woman an obstructionist, too? When a crime is being committed we don’t plan on aiding and abetting that crime.

The President sent a note to his supporters asking them to put pressure on Congress to pass his plan "or hold them accountable if they do not." WHAT PLAN, Mr. Obama?? You don't have a plan. All you have is more bravo sierra campaign speeches. If you had a plan you would have already had it in writing for the Congress to look at. YOU DON'T HAVE A PLAN! You want Congress to be stupid enough to pass your imaginary plan and then you'll tell them what it is afterward.

Someone please tell the President the definition of insanity is to keep doing something the same way, over and over and expect a different result.

White House Spokeman Makes Slip on The O'Reilly Factor

While White House spokesman Jay Carney was being interviewd on the O'Reilly Factor he made what may have been a Freudian slip. Apparently O'Reilly didn't catch it but I did. I went back to review the tape.

At 6:48 into the interview the poor lad was so flustered that he actually said, “The President has always said we need to put party ahead of country.”

We all knew that's how Obama feels, we just didn't expect Carney to admit it.

I received this from a friend. My advice is to always verify these articles when possible. The article echoes what I've been believing and saying for a long time but I can only wish I authored it. Actually, David Kaiser didn't author it and says, with the exception of the first two sentences, he disagrees with much of it. If you click on to the two links it will reiterate that.

If you can legally vote, go out and do it on election day. If you think Obama is the man you most identify with, vote for him. If not, vote for the person you do identify with and think can best lead the nation. If you can vote and choose not to, you have no right to complain in my opinion.

I am a student of history. Professionally, I have written 15 books on
history that have been published in six languages, and I have studied
history all my life. I have come to think there is something
monumentally large afoot, and I do not believe it is simply a banking
crisis, or a mortgage crisis, or a credit crisis. Yes these exist, but
they are merely single facets on a very large gemstone that is only

no real oversight by anyone, has "loaned" two trillion dollars (that
is $2,000,000,000,000) over the past few months, but will not tell us
to whom or why or disclose the terms. That is our money. Yours and
mine. And that is three times the $700 billion we all argued about so
strenuously just this past September. Who has this money? Why do they
have it? Why are the terms unavailable to us? Who asked for it? Who
authorized it? I thought this was a government of "we the people," who
loaned our powers to our elected leaders. Apparently not.


We have spent two or more decades intentionally de-industrializing our
economy... Why?


We have intentionally dumbed down our schools, ignored our history,
and no longer teach our founding documents, why we are exceptional,
and why we are worth preserving. Students by and large cannot write,
think critically, read, or articulate. Parents are not revolting,
teachers are not picketing, school boards continue to back mediocrity.
Why?


We have now established the precedent of protesting every close
election (violently in California over a proposition that is so
controversial that it simply wants marriage to remain defined as
between one man and one woman. Did you ever think such a thing
possible just a decade ago?) We have corrupted our sacred political
process by allowing unelected judges to write laws that radically
change our way of life, and then mainstream Marxist groups like ACORN
and others to turn our voting system into a banana republic. To what
purpose?


Now our mortgage industry is collapsing, housing prices are in free
fall, major industries are failing, our banking system is on the verge
of collapse, social security is nearly bankrupt, as is Medicare and
our entire government. Our education system is worse than a joke (I
teach college and I know precisely what I am talking about) - the list
is staggering in its length, breadth, and depth.. It is potentially
1929 x ten...And we are at war with an enemy we cannot even name for
fear of offending people of the same religion, who, in turn, cannot
wait to slit the throats of your children if they have the opportunity
to do so.


And finally, we have elected a man that no one really knows anything
about, who has never run so much as a Dairy Queen, let alone a town as
big as Wasilla , Alaska .. All of his associations and alliances are
with real radicals in their chosen fields of employment, and
everything we learn about him, drip by drip, is unsettling if not
downright scary (Surely you have heard him speak about his idea to
create and fund a mandatory civilian defense force stronger than our

Mr. Obama's winning platform can be boiled down to one word: Change. Why?


I have never been so afraid for my country and for my children as I am now.


This man campaigned on bringing people together, something he has
never, ever done in his professional life. In my assessment, Obama
will divide us along philosophical lines, push us apart, and then try
to realign the pieces into a new and different power structure. Change
is indeed coming. And when it comes, you will never see the same
nation again.


And that is only the beginning..


As a serious student of history, I thought I would never come to
experience what the ordinary, moral German must have felt in the
mid-1930s In those times, the "savior" was a former smooth-talking
rabble-rouser from the streets, about whom the average German knew
next to nothing. What they should have known was that he was
associated with groups that shouted, shoved, and pushed around people
with whom they disagreed; he edged his way onto the political stage
through great oratory. Conservative "losers" read it right now.


And there were the promises. Economic times were tough, people were
losing jobs, and he was a great speaker. And he smiled and frowned and
waved a lot. And people, even newspapers, were afraid to speak out for
fear that his "brown shirts" would bully and beat them into
submission. Which they did - regularly. And then, he was duly elected
to office, while a full-throttled economic crisis bloomed at hand -
the Great Depression Slowly, but surely he seized the controls of
government power, person by person, department by department,
bureaucracy by bureaucracy. The children of German citizens were at
first, encouraged to join a Youth Movement in his name where they were
taught exactly what to think. Later, they were required to do so. No
Jews of course,


How did he get people on his side? He did it by promising jobs to the
jobless, money to the money-less, and rewards for the
military-industrial complex. He did it by indoctrinating the children,
advocating gun control, health care for all, better wages, better
jobs, and promising to re-instill pride once again in the country,
across Europe , and across the world. He did it with a compliant media
- did you know that? And he did this all in the name of justice and
... change. And the people surely got what they voted for.


If you think I am exaggerating, look it up. It's all there in the history
books.


So read your history books. Many people of conscience objected in 1933
and were shouted down, called names, laughed at, and ridiculed. When
Winston Churchill pointed out the obvious in the late 1930s while
seated in the House of Lords in England (he was not yet Prime
Minister), he was booed into his seat and called a crazy troublemaker.
He was right, though. And the world came to regret that he was not
listened to.


Do not forget that Germany was the most educated, the most cultured
country in Europe . It was full of music, art, museums, hospitals,
laboratories, and universities. And yet, in less than six years (a
shorter time span than just two terms of the U. S. presidency) it was
rounding up its own citizens, killing others, abrogating its laws,
turning children against parents, and neighbors against neighbors. All
with the best of intentions, of course. The road to Hell is paved with
them.


As a practical thinker, one not overly prone to emotional decisions, I
have a choice: I can either believe what the objective pieces of
evidence tell me (even if they make me cringe with disgust); I can
believe what history is shouting to me from across the chasm of seven
decades; or I can hope I am wrong by closing my eyes, having another
latte, and ignoring what is transpiring around me..


I choose to believe the evidence. No doubt some people will scoff at
me, others laugh, or think I am foolish, naive, or both. To some
degree, perhaps I am. But I have never been afraid to look people in
the eye and tell them exactly what I believe-and why I believe it.


I pray I am wrong. I do not think I am. Perhaps the only hope is our
vote in the next elections.

More 'Civility' from the Loons on the Left

Once again we’re being treated to a dose of civility – left-wing-loon style.

Jason Oda of Brooklyn, NY has developed a video game through his company, Starving Eyes Advertising. The game targets ‘Tea Party Zombies’ and Fox News Personalities and the idea is to kill the targets using firearms and crowbars. Apparently the crowbar is for those who like their violence up close and personal.

Isn’t it ironic that the left hates the one cable network that actually invites guests of opposing views on a regular basis?

This isn’t an anomaly for Oda – he has created videos in the past that targeted former President George W. Bush, Karl Rove, etc.

Some of Oda’s clients are reportedly firms like Pepsi, Hasbro, Sears, UPS and others. Can we expect those firms to pull their business from him in the interest of civility? I’m going to guess they won’t. Will their anticipated lack of correct response indicate they are interested in civility, only with respect to the Right?

Not one to presume too much, I intend on contacting the aforementioned firms and ask them what their official response is to Oda’s video game that clearly fantasizes about violence toward those he doesn’t agree with. Oda clearly has his tiny mind made up and wouldn’t want to be influenced by fact or any suggestion that he is a trifle warped in the head.

Apparently when someone like Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa refers to the Tea Party and tells his supporters to “take these son-of-a-bitches out” it’s ok. When someone simply disagrees with the far left loons, they call it vitriol and a call goes out for civility.

Hoffa used the typical bait and switch of the left by claiming corporate-backed conservatives have started a “war” that is destroying the middle class and he was simply expressing his frustration. He went on to babble something about, he will “never apologize” for standing up for American workers…”

On the outside chance Mr. Hoffa reads my blog (Hey, it could happen), I’ll break this down in simple terms so even a moron like him and his ilk can understand. It’s corporations that donated considerable money to Obama’s campaign. It is Obama who has destroyed this nation and put unemployment at such incredibly high levels. It’s Obama and fools like you who have brought this country to it’s financial knees and left us with no hope of coming out of this mess till after the 2012 elections when Obama will be out of the White House and hopefully out of our hair for good and the healing can begin!

Mr. Hoffa isn’t “standing up for American workers”. This idiot is part of the problem – not part of the solution. He typifies the Chicago mobster mentality and he doesn’t want to see his phony baloney job end. I would opine he and many of his cronies should be in jail; not out threatening Tea Party members – many of whom are members of the union. The difference is those folks have something to gain by getting rid of Obama. It’s called prosperity, dignity and some semblance of security. Hoffa would lose his power and perks that come from your phony job.

Hoffa likes to spew vitriol and use terms like the left is so fond of using, like “anti-worker politicians”. By anti-worker I presume you mean those who aren’t as narrow-minded as the likes of you and want what’s best for the country and their families – not what’s best for Jimmy Hoffa.

In stead of admitting he made a stupid statement while trying to incite his easily influenced followers who follow without questioning the logic of his stupidity, Hoffa deflected his vitriolic statements by claiming he was merely standing up for American Workers. No, you didn’t. Your asinine statement had nothing to do with logic or standing up for American workers. They were meant to work your masses into a violent rage. Hoffa would be the one in the old western town trying to get a lynch mob into a frenzy when it was he who was one of the culprits.

White House spokesman, Jay Carney was asked if President Obama was going to condemn the vitriolic statements of Hoffa. Carney said it was Hoffa, not Obama who made the statements. True enough, but when Congresswoman Gabriella Giffords and others were shot in Tucson he and his ilk were quick to blame the Right, the Tea Party and talk radio for the senseless violence – even though the shooter had no political ties and didn’t listen to talk radio. In short – Loughner, the shooter was simply a whack-job.

Sandy Pope, one of Hoffa’s two opponents for the general presidency for the Teamsters says she sees no reason for Hoffa to apologize, either. Pope told Fox News, “I understand people want to tone things down, but no one is following those rules right now.” No one from your side, anyway, Ms. Pope.

When Democratic National Committee chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz was asked if she condemned the statements by Hoffa she refused to do so.

So, do we see a pattern here? I certainly do.

I’m tired of the double standard the left has and I’m even more tired of the Democrat party leadership who is willing to throw America under the bus, so long as it advances the liberal agenda. It’s time we hold their feet to the fire and hold them accountable.

I won’t say we need to “Take the son-of-a-bitches out.” I say we just need to vote them out. And I won’t apologize for standing up for America, Jimmy.

I know many of you, like myself are fearful that President Obama’s speech de jour may interrupt any quality TV you might have in mind.

Fear not; I’ll summarize his speech for you:

• We need to raise taxes on the rich (of which he is among that group by his own definition) because they aren’t paying their fair share. Never mind the fact the wealthiest 1% earn only 19% of the income but pay 37% of all income taxes. The top 10% pay 68% of all taxes paid! The bottom 50% earns 13% of all income but only pays 3% of the taxes.
• We need to tighten our belts and sacrifice for the good of all – albeit the President can be counted on to not sacrifice anything for the good of all.
• We need more stimulus money for those who actually earn money to provide $millions of dollars to invest in the infrastructure to create as many as 14 jobs.

There ya go. You’re welcome.

Is Joe Biden dumb?

Recently Politico (not known to be a bastion of unbiased reporting) posed the question, “Is Governor Rick Perry dumb?”

The headline was clearly intended to be inflammatory and to put Perry, ala Sarah Palin, in a bad light. It was meant to make Perry appear stupid. If Perry is stupid and Obama is brilliant I’ll take stupid over brilliant. By the way, where are Obama’s college transcripts? We’ve heard much about them but I’ve not seen them published. All of the far-left loons have no trouble finding the dirt on Perry, Bush and Palin but they are seemingly unable to find anything substantive on Obama. Inquiring minds want to know where the dirt is. Hell, they could find dirt on the Pope and Shirley Temple if it furthered their far left agenda.

I also wonder why it is (rhetorically, of course), we’ve not seen headlines asking, Is Joe Biden too dumb? It’s not exactly a secret that Biden is a human gaff factory that’s working over time.

In his recent visit to China Biden sort of got his talking points on debt a bit wrong. He claimed Americans own 85% of the U.S. Treasury securities. Wrongo, Ol’ Joe. Americans only own about 54% of the public debt.

Certainly I don’t mean to question the integrity of the left loons. OK, that’s a lie. I fully mean to question their integrity. If you’re a liberal politician and you’re scratching your head, trying to figure out what it means go to the dictionary or ask someone like Marco Rubio or Governor Christie.

Finally, the President and I agree on something!

As my banner states, this blog is my vehicle to vent about whatever drives me up the walls or floats my boat.

While watching coverage of the floods along the eastern coast I had to suffer through the obligatory morons who think it’s cool to continually walk back and forth behind the reporter while flashing peace signs and jumping up and down with their tongue out and their fingers in their ears while wiggling their hands. Just a thought – You don’t look cool; you look like an idiot. What a proud moment it must be to know you made a fool of yourself on national TV.

Speaking of fools…

A Mexican casino in the northern Mexican city of Monterrey was the victim of arson by gunmen. Let me correct that – the people inside the casino were the victims of arson by gunmen.

An intelligent person would perhaps be upset with the gunmen who perpetrated this attack on innocent people. We aren’t dealing with intelligent people, however. According to former Mexican President, Felipe Calderon it is the fault of firearms coming into Mexico from the U.S.

For those of you who don’t follow this, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, ATF (A carry over from prohibition days in the U.S.) spent several million dollars making sure firearms made it into the hands of the Mexican drug cartels. Then they used the flow of firearms into Mexico as the nexus for the need to have tougher gun controls in the U.S. Huh?? It is reported that two of those firearms were used in the murder of a U.S. Border Patrol officer. Eleven more deaths in the U.S. have been attributed to some of those firearms allowed to ‘walk’.

But I digress. El Presidente Calderon blames the attack, in part to the flow of firearms from the U.S. into Mexico. Apparently Calderon, in true anti-gun fashion fails to find culpability on the part of the gunmen. They had no choice but to attack the casino, set fire to it in an attack that killed 52 people. If the U.S. hadn’t allowed firearms to flow into the hands of these fun-loving folks who murder, rape and behead their enemies this never would have happened.

Given the thought process of Calderon, Obama and the rest of the anti-gun folks who want to use the 2nd Amendment for toilet paper we should let bank robbers out of prison. After all, they never would have robbed the bank if they hadn’t put the bank there in the first place. It’s not their fault. Firearms are evil and people shouldn’t be allowed to have them.

Perhaps we should disarm the police and the military and have them protect us and themselves with reason and in extreme cases – harsh language. After all, the firearms are evil. The police need those firearms because of bad people with evil intent. Apparently the rest of us don’t need to fear those same bad people.

President Obama is rumored to have promised to appoint a czar and 14-member committee to look into the quake.

It is reported that Obama blames the quake on the Republicans, George Bush and the Tea Party. The President will ask Congress and the Senate for additional money to help rebuild the infrastructure. The money will come from the ‘rich’ who need to pay their fair share.

I just watched a 60 minutes report on U.S. corporations that have moved to places like Zug, Switzerland or Ireland in order to avoid the 35% tax rate they would have to pay here in the U.S.

Hell, yes. Why wouldn’t they? The tax rate in Zug is about 15% and about 12% in Ireland. We’re talking $billions in taxes saved. When they take their business – which may only amount to a mailbox in Zug they take thousands of jobs with them – jobs that would normally go to Americans.

The rest of the industrial world has already learned to lower their tax rates in order to lure Canadian and U.S. corporations. In fact some countries have even offered tax rates of 5% in order to woo corporations to their countries. And why wouldn’t corporations take advantage? They would be stupid not to.

Still, liberals are too sagaciously-challenged to get it. Like in New York where the mantra of liberals was always, “We’ll tax the rich more. They aren’t paying their fair share.” It sounds great if you’re a liberal and you’re talking about someone else’s money. Liberals are always great at putting someone else’s money where their mouth is.

The problem for them was rich people can live wherever they want and they simply moved to Florida or Zug or Ireland where they wouldn’t be screwed without so much as a kiss. And when they left, New York suddenly found was their was a huge vacuum in revenue that was no longer being supplied by ‘the rich’. That means you have to increase taxes on middle-income folks. It’s like Margaret Thatcher was quoted as saying: “Sooner or later you run out of other people’s money.”

Still, Obama and the rest of his band of morons continue to rant that jobs are the number one priority while at the same time doing all they can to drive them to other countries – along with the opportunity to put more Americans back to work and gain billions of dollars in revenue. You can’t get the liberal mind to understand this. It’s a character flaw they have. They simply refuse to get off their kick of blaming the so-called rich for all the ills of this nation. Liberals and their policies aren’t the solution – they’re the problem!

Another thing you find with liberal politicians is they play to the lazy and uneducated. They have found that if they simply say the rich aren’t paying their fair share they can get the uneducated to believe the lie and give them hope that somehow the liberal politician will make it right by becoming modern day Robin Hoods and taking from the rich and somehow giving it to them.

The reality is these same people offer no real solutions or their own money. On top of that the people who think their life is going to be made better find just the opposite. No worries, though. These folks suffer from battered liberal syndrome. It doesn’t matter. Their mind is made up and they aren’t about to be swayed by the facts.

The liberal ditz, Debbie Wasserman Schultz is a prime example of the embarrassment that permeates the Democratic leadership. The Democratic National Committee chair looked into the camera lens and proclaimed the Republicans have offered nothing and Obama’s numbers are in great shape.

How about a little Reality check? The Republicans passed two measures in the House but Senate leader, Harry Reid declared them to be ‘dead-on-arrival’. Meanwhile the Democrats have offered nothing. They were supposed to have a balanced budget over two and a half years ago. They’ve offered nothing! We keep hearing about the plan Obama has. No one has seen it. Nothing has been put in writing. Like the mythical unicorn; it doesn’t exist. Still we keep hearing from the Democrats about the President’s plan. What plan?? There is no plan, aside from destroying this great nation.

As for Obama’s numbers being great… Lady you must be smoking crack. His numbers are in the toilet.

Hope and change? That will happen when Obama and his subversives receive their pink slips in the general election. He will go down as the worst President in American history.

For the first time in history the credit rating of the U.S. has been downgraded below AAA+. That means under the ‘leadership’ (if we can call it that) of President Obama, S&P has put investors on notice that your U.S. bonds are no longer considered by them to be ‘money-in-the-bank’.

The finger-pointing and blame game has wasted no time in commencing. The obligatory, “There is plenty of blame to go around.” and “We need to work together.” is nothing more than rhetoric from people who don’t believe a word they are saying but feel they have to say it in order to seem middle-of-the-road. The fact is the conciliatory language coming from their mouths is nothing more than bravo sierra emanating from an area much lower on the anatomy.

Despite the ‘Let’s play nice and compromise’ language you’re hearing each side is convinced the other side is to blame.

The esteemed congressman from Massachusetts, John Kerry puts the blame squarely on the shoulders of the Tea Party. We have heard claims of the Tea Party being terrorists and holding the nation hostage by putting a gun to their head. I find it fascinating that the party who claims we need to tone down the rhetoric and be less vitriolic is so obsessed with using words like ‘terrorists’, ‘hostages’ and ‘putting a gun to our heads’ language every time they speak.

I think if anyone is to blame it is, in fact the President and the Democrat leadership for putting a gun to our head in order for them to get what they always have had and always will have – more money to waste on ineffectual wasteful programs. The Democrat’s view of ‘compromise’ is, “Give us more money or we’ll tell the American people that you want old people to die and you’re going to take lunch money from the mouths of children.” Every time budget comes up it’s the same rhetoric from the Democrats, “The Republicans want to take your Social Security away and we aren’t sure we can pay the military if you don’t give us more money to waste in order to keep our phony baloney jobs.” For goodness sake, how many times are people going to fall for this same old tired ploy!

Social Security as it stands is unsustainable. If we don’t change the way we’re managing (or not managing) it Social Security will definitely run completely out of money and the Democrat’s crying wolf will finally come to pass.

Fact: We don’t have an income problem.
Fact: Washington has a spending problem
Fact: Like an alcoholic, the Democrats will never admit they have a problem. Admitting you have a problem is the first step.

The left is terrified of people like Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachman, Marco Rubio and Texas governor, Rick Perry. Why? It’s because they know these people are the antithesis of every thing liberal politicians stand for. True Conservatives believe in a balanced budget, smaller government. Rick Perry’s state of Texas leads the nation in employment. How is that possible, given the rest of the nation is in shambles under Obama’s ‘Hope and Change’?

Obama and liberal Democrats sound like a broken record, claiming the rich aren’t paying their fair share and the answer to our problems is to simply tax the rich more. If you’re one of the folks who are either habitually unemployed because you’re too lazy to work and have learned to use the system or you make a dollar per year less than your neighbor that sounds pretty good to you.

I am bored hearing about how the rich aren’t paying their fair share. The fact is half of the Americans in this country pay taxes for the other half who don’t pay a dime in taxes. Coincidentally those same folks who don’t pay a dime in taxes are the same ones who believe that way. Creators.com had a cartoon of Obama titled, What did he say? It showed Obama saying, “I won’t allow the half of Americans who pay no taxes to bear the burden of the other half who aren’t paying their fair share.” Bada Bing!

Am I without compassion? Hell, no! I’m mad as hell that there are poor single mothers out there who are willing to work two and three jobs in order to support themselves and their kids because she can’t get enough money to live on after every one else has bellied up to the government teat. I feel sorry for the elderly who worked hard all their life and thought they would be retired by now and finally enjoying the fruits of their hard labor, only to find Obama’s ‘Hope and Change’ has wiped out their 401K and change is all they have left. I feel sorry for the disabled who can't work, though no fault of their own or the widow who's husbands life savings can no longer sustain her because Obama's policies have caused interest rates to tank. I feel sorry for the husband who can't find a job because Obama's policies have destroyed so many of them and he has to flip hamburgers or work in a convenience store just to put food on the table. Those are the people I have compassion for.

Talk about holding a gun to someone’s head! That’s exactly what Obama and the liberal politicians in Washington did. They metaphorically put a gun to Conservative’s collective head and said, “Just give us the money and we’ll put the gun down.” To them that’s what compromise is. If you don’t give them more money to spend that we don't have they'll claim you aren’t compromising and you're mean spirited.

Has it dawned on anyone that the Democrats were supposed to have a budget over two and a half years ago? We keep hearing from Democrats about the President’s budget plan. What budget plan! He hasn’t put one on paper but we keep hearing about it. Where is it? I’d like to see it. I’d like folks who are much smarter than me to look at it and tell us if the plan will work at reducing the deficit and create jobs so we can get back on financial track.

I’m not Secretary Tim Geithner, (thankfully) but I can tell you that everything Obama and his wrecking crew have touched has had the reverse Midas touch.

Meanwhile Obama is set to go on a bus tour through key political states on what he claims isn’t a political vote-getting tour, but rather a tour to get the economy back on track and put people back to work. Really? Did I mention the carbon footprint the two bullet-proof busses and entourage are going to make? How about how much it will cost the half of us who actually pay taxes will have to pony up for his un-named un-political campaign is going to cost? I can’t fathom how these people can look us in the eye and spew out the B.S. they do. The problem is there are Kool aid drinkers out there who actually do believe this non-sense. It absolutely defies logic and common sense.

I had a discussion with one of those folks the other day. He was one of the un-educated, ill-informed folks who are systemic of the problem. It was the day the Dow dropped 513 points in one day. He looked at me and said, “We had a surplus when Bill Clinton was President.” I was faced with either explaining to him how un-informed he was and trying to educate him – despite knowing he had drank the Kool aid and it was pointless or simply shaking my head in pity for him and walking away.

Always one who loves a good challenge I opted to try to educate him. I explained that for the first time in 40 years we had a surplus while Bill Clinton was President. The reason for that however was because we finally had a Republican controlled Congress and that it certainly was in spite of what Clinton’s policies would have produced. Let me make this simple for those who think it’s complicated. CONGRESS CONTROLS THE PURSE STRING. He then went on to tell me that Bush squandered it under his tenor as President. I had to explain to him that the Democrats controlled Congress under Bush’s tenor. Until the mid-term elections the Democrats controlled the House, the Senate and the White House. Obama owns this mess. That doesn’t stop him from wining it’s all George Bush’s fault.

I will opine George Bush made some bad decisions and certainly should have vetoed some of the outrageous spending of the Democrats but you own this one, Mr. Obama. You got a bad economy and made it worse with your failed policies. Far worse. You stimulus did anything but stimulate the economy. Your Obama care has been shown to be a policy that will actually increase medical costs – not reduce them.

Hope and Change? I’m looking forward to that in the November Presidential elections. Since you have yet to name your political tour bus that you claim isn’t a political tour on the taxpayer dime, may I suggest, ‘The Obama farewell tour buses? That is when we’ll finally have some reason for hope and more than change left in our pockets.

As we get closer to the President’s self imposed debt deadline of August 2nd two things are apparent; at least to me.

2. The Democrats in Washington, (aside from being what I consider to be the most vile, corrupt bunch of pond scum – and I mean that in the nicest possible way) have no scruples and if they do it’s because they stole them from someone in a backroom deal somewhere.

Another thing I’ve gleaned over the years is the proclivity of people with good intentions to become corrupt after getting into office is strong.

So here is where we are in my view. The Democrats had the House and the Senate and the White House and still failed to produce a balanced budget in almost three years. It was something they weren’t interested in. They were more inclined to keep kicking the metaphorical can down the road and stay with the tried and true Democrat mantra of raising the debt limit, spending money, threatening seniors with their social security and Medicare being pulled from them and claiming the rich aren’t paying their fair share. And isn't ironic that Senator Obama, Reid, Palosi and the gang all voted against raising the debt ceiling when George Bush was President.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch the Republicans talked a good game of fiscal responsibility and giving corporations and small business owners – you know, the folks who actually hire people and cause the economy to grow tax breaks. The problem is they wet themselves every time the Democrats went for the jugular and claimed the Republicans were trying to push granny over the cliff in a wheelchair. They figured they’d better ‘compromise’ with the Democrats so they didn’t get blamed for whatever fiscal mess de jour the Democrats had gotten the nation into.

Here is a hint for you weak-bladdered Republicans in the belt way: Intelligent people know you can’t keep kicking that can down the road. Sooner or later we have to make some hard decisions or money will truly be completely out and granny, social security recipients and you are really going to be screwed. More importantly there are folks who are dumber than a box of rocks (you know the folks like the ones who voted for Obama without knowing a thing about him but wanted to in order to prove they weren’t racist; only stupid). Those folks will blame Republicans, no matter what. Deal with it and do what you were sent to Washington to do – provide some sane leadership.

This isn’t just about getting your sorry butts re-elected. It’s about the future of our country and our kids and their kid’s future. Pull your head out!

We keep hearing about the need for compromise. Compromise to the Democrats in Washington is code for give us more money to piss away and they can claim, “Well, the Republicans voted for it to.” It’s always been that way. Why look surprised when it happens every time?

I personally will vote for a principled candidate who perhaps made an unpopular (with the Democrats and morons) vote than some spineless one who tried to hide behind compromise. When you’re right you don’t compromise – you make your case and lead (there’s that term again) the other side and the American people to understand why it’s the right (no pun) thing to do. And if that doesn’t work, you can always follow Nancy Palosi’s lead and claim we have to “pass this bill so we can see what’s in it.” That’s how we got Obama care.

Not all cops are professional.

Their are good cops. Others, not so much. I received this from Ken Reineer of GOAZ (Gun Owner of AZ). It shows a cop from Ohio behaving in a VERY unprofessional and reckless manner while projecting this stupid reckless behavior toward the driver who has a legitimate CCW concealed carry permit.

He tells everyone to shut up and not say a word and then finally approaches the driver after over five minutes and goes ballistic after telling the driver he's required to immediately notify the officer that he has a permit. Had the now suspended cop not been such an ass on a power trip he would have known. The driver was trying to notify him.

Charlie has suddenly found religion

Congressman Charles Rangel, D-NY has decided to bring Jesus into the debt crisis.

Let's begin by asking Charlie who's fault we're in this debt crisis. It was Charlie Rangel, Barack Obama, Nancy Palosi, et al who were suppose to provide a balanced budget over two years ago! They had the House, the Senate AND the White House; yet they opted to "kick the can down the road" (a favorite term of theirs lately).

Now Obama and his ilk, with the help of liberal talking heads want to look to the Republicans and say, "If not now, when?" Indeed, Barry. What they want is for Republicans to 'compromise' (code for come on board so we can point to Republicans like they did the time Ronald Reagan fell for it) and say, "see, they voted for it, too.

But getting back to Charlie Rangel, wasn't it Charlie who was nailed on a whole plethora of ethics violations and evaded paying taxes? Rangel is quoted as saying, "You know all of this is biblical. If you read your bibles and your read the spiritual scriptures you will see that clearly Jesus would have something to say about this debate." Hey, Charlie, Jesus is also quoted as saying, "Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's..." Try paying your own taxes and quit tyring to invoke (exploit) Jesus into your mess you helped create.

Isn't it ironic the left, who the Democrat leadership continues to lecture us on separation of church and State want to bring religion into the debate when it suits them.

Dear American Taxpayer

For only the second time in my adult life, I am not ashamed of my country. I want to thank the hard working American people for paying $242 thousand dollars for my vacation in Spain.

My daughter Sasha, several long-time family friends, my personal staff and various guests had a wonderful time. Honestly, you just haven't lived until you have stayed in a $2,500.00 per night private 3-story villa at a 5-Star luxury hotel.


Thank you also for the use of Air Force Two and the 70 Secret Service personnel who tagged along to be sure we were safe and cared for at all times. By the way, if you happen to be visiting the Costa del Sol, I highly recommend the Buenaventura Plaza restaurant in Marbella; great lobster with rice and oysters! I'm ashamed to admit the lobsters we ate in Martha's Vineyard were not quite as tasty, but what can you do if you're not in Europe, you have to just grin and bear it?

Air Force Two (which costs $11,351 per hour to operate according to Government Accounting Office reports) only used 47,500 gallons of jet fuel for this trip and carbon emissions were a mere 1,031 tons of CO2. These are only rough estimates, but they are close. That's quite a carbon footprint as my good friend Al Gore would say, so we must ask the American citizens to drive smaller, more fuel efficient cars and drive less too, so we can lessen our combined carbon footprint.

I know times are hard and millions of you are struggling to put food on the table and trying to make ends meet. So I do appreciate your sacrifices and do hope you find work soon.

I was really exhausted after Barack took our family on a luxury vacation in Maine a few weeks ago. I just had to get away for a few days.

Are the rich not paying their fair share?

Are the ‘rich’ screwing the rest of us when it comes to paying taxes?

I realize that there are people whose minds are made up and they don’t want to be confused by the facts, but here goes.

Although the wealthiest 1% earn only 19% of the income they pay 37% of all income taxes. The top 10% pay 68% of all taxes paid. And the bottom 50% earns 13% of all income but only pay 3% of the taxes.

If my math is correct that means the bottom 50% pay almost nothing, yet collect most of the entitlements.

Do big corporations get tax breaks? Hell, yes. They are the job creators. Ever been hired by a poor person? Obama keeps talking about jet owners and oil corporations getting tax breaks. Oddly he never mentions corporations like GE who pay diddly squat.

Quit buying into class envy and thinking anyone who makes a dollar a year more than you is ‘the rich’. Be thankful there are corporations out there who hire. With unemployment at 9.2 we need all the jobs we can get. By the way, it was only about 7% when Obama took office. Home values were much higher when he took office, too. Of course like any small child who doesn’t want to take blame for his failures, the President want to continue blaming it all on George Bush. No, Mr. President, you own this one. It was your policies that created this mess and it was you who claimed you were going to fix it all. Until the recent mid-term elections the Democrats owned the House, the Senate and the White House. Republicans couldn’t stop any of your failed policies. They didn’t have the votes. Y O U O W N IT.

The up side of all this is Jimmy Carter must be pleased that he’s no longer the worst President in American history.

Rahm Emanuel was quoted as saying, "Never let a good crisis go to waste". So now the folks who brought us ‘Fast and Furious’, the ludicrous lame brained failure where the ATF and perhaps the FBI and DEA intentionally allowed firearms, incl. high end high powered rifles to fall into the hands of the Mexican drug cartel want tough gun laws for the rest of us law-abiding folks. At least two of those firearms were allegedly used to murder Border Patrol agent, Brian Terry.

How much did this stupid failure cost us; aside from the obvious, Brian Terry’s life? Well, originally it was though to be about $10.5 million. Turns out if you add it all up it’s more like $53.5 million of our tax dollars. I would ask the rhetorical question, how stupid can these people be but apparently they’re goal-oriented and I don’t want to give them anything to shoot for, (pardon the pun).

But I digress. After concocting this ill-conceived piece of stupidity of epic proportions they now want to use the shooting that took place in Tucson on January 8th as a nexus for these new proposed gun laws.

Obama wrote a piece in the local Tucson rag, the Arizona Daily Star, “Most gun-control advocates know that most gun owners are responsible citizens. Most gun owners know that the word ‘commonsense’ isn’t a code word for ‘confiscation’.”

Let’s take this one point at a time. I agree with the President when he says “Most gun-control advocates know that most gun owners are responsible citizens.” Damn right Mr. President, we are responsible citizens. It’s a pity ATF has been shown to be anything but responsible. Irresponsible doesn’t even begin to cover their actions. And now they want to take the high ground in this debate? Surely you jest. May I remind you that ATF comes under Attorney General Eric Holder who works for you, Mr. President?

Oh and about most gun owners knowing that the word ‘commonsense’ not being a code word for ‘confiscation’… as always, you are wrong. We know for fact that’s exactly what you have in mind.

If you’re concerned with our safety I would start with taking money to allow guns to intentionally fall into the hands of Mexican drug cartels away from ATF. Giving them money is clearly akin to giving a bottle of whiskey to an alcoholic.

Responsible gun owners are tired of watching the government make fools of themselves while proposing more ‘commonsense’ gun laws for us. By the way, would you like to see the video of the agent who shot himself in the leg with a .40 cal. Glock handgun while explaining to the school children that he was the only one qualified to handle one? Some of the poor children are probably still wearing a colostomy bag after that one.

Responsible gun owners also know that criminals don’t care about any of your gun laws. Do you really believe that someone who is willing to murder would be concerned about one more gun law? Either you are all morons or you think we are.

Stop blowing smoke up our tail and trying to act like this isn’t about confiscation. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, odds are it’s duck. And this is about confiscation. Thanks, but no thanks.

The Democrats want tax hikes for ‘the rich’ (how unlike them to use that tired class envy argument) and the Republicans, for now are saying “no way; give us spending cuts.”

Obama took presumably took his golf shoes off long enough to chastise Republicans and say, “I’ve been here, where are you?” Let’s set the record straight.

First and foremost ‘rich’ people create jobs – not poor people. Poor people do not hire. Obama’s policies have been a miserable failure and it isn’t even arguable. Of course he claims it’s just because he needs more stimulus money to make it work and he needs to take more money from the rich. Keep in mind he now is the rich and has no intentions of giving up any of his own money – just yours.

The Democrats were supposed to have a balanced budget two years ago when they had the House, the Senate and the White House and failed to do so! They chose instead to keep kicking the can down the road. Now they’re out of road and want to keep raising the debt limit and claim the economy is the fault of the Republicans. Sorry Barry, you own this one. The Republicans haven’t had the votes to stop any of your assaults on America and the Economy. This mess is all yours.

The options are to either Liberal business-as-usual; raise taxes and claim the rich are making too much while the national debt sinks deeper in the abyss and blame it on the Republicans because they won’t let you have more money to piss away on schemes that don’t work –OR- finally reduce spending and lower taxes, a tried and true method of stimulating growth.

Of course Obama is above the entire fray and wants to tell all of us how his daughter’s get their homework done on time and the Congress needs to do the same. That is code for, “You Republicans need to play fair and give me more money to waste and make a bad situation worse. Oh, and by the way, when it makes things worse we’ll tell everyone how you Republicans voted for it, too.”

This President can’t stop golfing and taking vacations long enough to lead. The only thing he’s leading is the American public down the elevator to hell. The sad thing is there will still be stupid people who will vote for him again, either because they are ideologues who would rather vote for their guy than common sense, because he’s our ‘first black President’, which he isn’t – his mother was white or because they are just patently stupid and think Obama is some modern day Robin Hood who is going to take from the rich (Obama excluded, of course) and give to them.

Wake up folks. Educate yourself and vote intelligently.

Is Gold Really a Good Investment?

IS GOLD REALLY A GOOD INVESTMENT?

You can’t turn on the television these days without seeing a commercial reminding you of the obvious – the economy is going down the toilet and you need to invest in gold to protect yourself from inflation.

I’m not a financial advisor – Can’t even claim that I once played one. I’m merely thinking aloud (or on paper) and submitting what I’m wondering about. Perhaps some of you investment gurus can offer your point of view on the subject.

I digress. Each time I hear the gold pundits expose the need for me to invest in gold I’m reminded of what happened on April 5, 1933, by then President (and darling of the Democrats), Franklin D. Roosevelt. For those of you like me who weren’t actually around at the time, he signed an executive order “forbidding the Hoarding of Gold Coin, Gold Bullion and Gold Certificates within the Continental United States”. It criminalized the possession of monetary gold by any individual, partnership, association or corporation.

The justification given was times were hard and the stalled economy was getting worse, ergo Lord Roosevelt decided you couldn’t own gold. U.S. citizens were required to deliver their gold to the Federal Reserve on or before May 1, 1933 – less than 30 days after the signing of the order. You would be given $20.67 per troy ounce in exchange.

What happened if you decided the government couldn’t do that to you and you refused? You would be charged under the Trading with the Enemy Act of October 6, 1917, as amended on March 9, 1933 and would be subject of a penalty of up to $10,000 (which would equate to adjusted amount of about $167,000. by today’s figures) or up to ten years in prison, or both. Most folks who were in a position to own a lot of gold simply transferred it into Swiss bank accounts.

Oddly enough there is a thought in the back of my mind that says the current occupant of the White House and his ilk have shown there is nothing off-the-table when it comes to bending or breaking the law when it comes to acting like a dictator.

Take his recent taping of a fund raising commercial in the map room of the White House to raffle $5.00 tickets to have dinner with V.P. Joe Biden. Are you kidding me! That would be funnier than going to the Improve Comedy Club. It’s hard to say what Ol’ Joe would say. Although the Constitution says you can’t use the White House for anything other than official business and the map room is for official business, only, the ‘coolest’ Prez ever has deemed it’s ok because it’s in the residential portion of the People’s House.

The economy is in shambles, the prognosis is anything but good, unemployment is over nine percent (and much worse in the areas of the country ran by Liberals) and I have no doubt in my mind that this President wouldn’t blink twice at pulling an FDR on us. But that’s just me.

Foreclosures are up and the median price for a foreclosed home is below $100,000 for the third month in a row.

The median sale price for a home has dropped 3.8 percent in the last month, alone. The median price for a newly built home is the lowest it has been in two years. What suddenly changed within the past two years? Oh, that's right, Obama arrived with his hope and change.

Well there is your change for you. Now we can only hope he doesn't get re-elected. With the mentality of the morons who voted for him in the first place, who knows? I listened to a talk show host today who said he voted for Obama because he noticed how candidate Obama had such sharp creases in his trousers and knew from that, that Obama would be a great President. This is the stupidity we're dealing with! Ignorance is curable. Stupidity is forever.

Another indicator is the fact food prices in Arizona have gone up 7% in this quarter alone!

The reason for all of this, according to Obama is ATM machines. You can't make this stuff up, folks.

His former financial advisor claims the problem is we need another stimulus but bigger than the last ones. I suppose the crack won't smoke itself.

What unbridled arrogance! Obama has told Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu that Israel needs to move their borders back to their 1967 positions – a move that Netanyahu, not surprisingly rejected.

As I looked at the Associated Press photo of Obama, the arrogant, with nose in the air and speaking to his subjects I was reminded of former dictators addressing their minions. Disgusted doesn’t begin to cover what I felt as I heard of the patently arrogant, asinine and stupid gall of Obama. This President has certainly gone above and beyond any measures that I ever would have thought he would go to in order to alienate the U.S. form any allies we ever had and attempt to befriend every enemy we’ve ever had. At what point to we stop looking the other way and begin impeachment proceedings against Obama?

Israel is the gateway to the west and Obama, the arrogant has decided (ruled) that the U.S. would take sides with the Palestinians. Let me rephrase that, the people of the U.S. aren’t buying into the notion of supporting terrorists but our President has ruled that we will.

Obama is quoted as saying that he want to assure Netanyahu the United States commitment to Israeli security is “unshakable”. Unshakable?? Do you really think he believes the bravo sierra coming from your mouth when he has eyes to see the path you’ve been on since taking power? “Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.” – The Great OZ.

This latest act of epic stupidity on the part of the President simply boggles the mind!
According to Obama, “The status quo is unsustainable.” Your Presidency is unsustainable, Mr. President.

At every turn this President has sought to weaken and destroy America. It is time for the masses to stand up and begin working in earnest to defeat this President in the upcoming 2012. We need a referendum that will send a clear message to all that this President doesn’t speak for us and that real “hope and change” is coming – for the better.

It was Nancy Pelosi who kept telling us that we had to pass Obama care to see what was in it. Turns out she may have already known what was in it.

20% of all Obama care waivers went to Nancy Pelosi’s district. Am I the only one who believes this administration is the most corrupt in U.S. history? Please tell me all Democrats aren’t as corrupt and conniving as Reid, Pelosi and Obama.

Reid and Pelosi have managed to get a whole cornucopia of waivers from a health care bill that was supposed to be so great. If it’s so great, why are they asking for a waiver for folks in their districts? It’s a rhetorical question; we already know the answer. It’s because the plan stinks more than the latrine door on a tuna boat!

These people shouldn’t be holding office – they should be in a defendant’s chair of a court house, answering questions about their dubious activities and backroom deals! I can’t understand how they can even stand to look at themselves in the mirror in the morning.

They say that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Nowhere is that more true than when it comes to Reid, Pelosi and Obama. Now we have former Obama White House Chief of Staff as mayor of Chicago, that bastion of crooked politics. Where does it end with these people!

As for the people of Chicago, they voted for Emanuel; they deserve what they got. The same can be said of those who voted for Obama’s ‘Hope and Change’. So how’s that Hope and Change workin’ out for you? Are you making more money, now that Obama is President? Are you paying less or more for gas and groceries since Obama became President? Do you feel the presence of more transparency in politics like Obama promised or do you see backroom deals and a President out of control when it comes to spending, vacations, golf tournaments and lavish parties while telling the rest of us that we need to tighten our belts and sacrifice?

A lot of folks voted for Obama to prove to themselves that they weren’t racist. A small note: Obama’s mother is white. Some were intimidated by the new black panthers standing outside voting polls with night sticks in their hands – a federal crime which Attorney General Eric Holder won’t pursue. Some voted for Obama because they thought he was going to give them things. Hopefully people will vote against Obama this time to prove to themselves that they aren’t complete morons.

This leads me to something else. Newt Gingrich was quoted as saying President Obama is the “President of food stamps”. The far left media has suddenly turned the statement into claiming the statement is racist. How? It’s factually correct. More people are on food stamps during Obama’s presidency than in any other time in American history. They are claiming the food stamp comment is clearly aimed at black people. Huh?? I would opine that nothing in the statement even remotely suggests that it’s aimed at blacks or any other group of people. I would also suggest that if more blacks are collecting food stamps during Obama's term than under any other President; than the statement is factually correct.

The Democrats and the far left media are in the tank for Obama. This President and the lame-stream media are the most arrogant and deceitful that I’ve ever seen and set the bar high when it comes to double standards.

There is no doubt in my mind that the next generation of ACORN will raise it’s ugly head when it comes time for Obama to run again – not that he ever left campaign mode.

We must remain vigilant to voter fraud and we must get the apathetic out to vote. Vote for real Hope and Change; not what we’ve got from Obama – rhetoric.

At a time when many Americans can barely afford Burger King and a movie, Obama boasts of spending a billion dollars on his re-election campaign. Questioned at a recent appearance about the spiraling fuel costs, Obama said, "Get used to it" – and with an insouciant grin and chortle, he told another person at the event, who complained about the effect high fuel prices were having on his family, to "get a more fuel-efficient car.."

The Obamas behave as if they were sharecroppers living in a trailer and hit the Powerball, but instead of getting new tires for their trailer and a new pickup truck, they moved to Washington. And instead of making possum pie, with goats and chickens in the front yard, they're spending and living large at taxpayer expense – opulent vacations, gala balls, resplendent dinners and exclusive command performances at the White House, grand date nights, golf, basketball, more golf, exclusive resorts and still more golf.

Expensive, ill-fitting and ill-chosen wigs and fashions hardly befit the first lady of the United States. The Obamas have behaved in every way but presidential – which is why it's so offensive when we hear Obama say, in order "to restore fiscal responsibility, we all need to share in the sacrifice – but we don't have to sacrifice the America we believe in."

The American people have been sacrificing; it is he and his family who are behaving as if they've never had two nickels to rub together – and now, having hit the mother lode, they're going to spend away their feelings of inadequacy at the taxpayers' expense.

Obama continues to exhibit behavior that, at best, can be described as mobocratic and, at worst, reveals a deeply damaged individual. In a February 2010 column, I asked, "Is Obama unraveling?" I wrote that it was beginning to appear the growing mistrust of him and contempt for his policies was beginning to have a destabilizing effect on him.

At that time, I wrote that not having things go one's way can be a bitter pill, but reasonable people don't behave as he was behaving. He had insulted Republicans at their luncheon, where he had been an invited guest. I had speculated that was, in part, what had led him to falsely accuse Supreme Court justices before Congress, the nation and the world, during the 2010 State of the Union address.

It appeared, at that time, as if he were "fraying around the emotional edges." That behavior has not abated – it has become more pronounced. While addressing the nation, after being forced to explain the validity of his unilateral aggression with Libya, America witnessed a petulant individual scowling and scolding the public for daring to insist he explain his actions.

But during an afternoon speech to address the budget/debt, he took his scornful, unstable despotic behavior to depths that should give the nation cause for concern. Displaying a dark psychopathy more representative of an episode of "The Tudors" television series, he invited Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis.., to sit in the front row during his speech and then proceeded to berate both Ryan and Ryan's budget-cutting plan. Even liberal Democrats were put off by the act. MSNBC's Joe Scarborough questioned the sanity of Obama's actions.

Today, criticism is coming from all sides. A senior Democrat lawmaker said, "I have been very disappointed in [Obama], to the point where I'm embarrassed that I endorsed him.. It's so bad that some of us are thinking, is there some way we can replace him? How do you get rid of this guy?" ("Democrats' Disgust with Obama," The Daily Beast, April 15, 2011)

Steve McCann wrote: Obama's speech "was chock full of lies, deceit and crass fear-mongering. It must be said that [he] is the most dishonest, deceitful and mendacious person in a position of power I have ever witnessed" ("The Mendacity of Barack Obama," AmericanThinker..com, April 15, 2011).

McCann continued: "[His] performance was the culmination of four years of outright lies and narcissism that have been largely ignored by the media, including some in the conservative press and political class who are loath to call [him] what he is in the bluntest of terms: a liar and a fraud. That he relies on his skin color to intimidate, either outright or by insinuation [against] those who oppose his radical agenda only add to his audacity. It is apparent that he has gotten away with his character flaws his entire life, aided and abetted by sycophants around him. …"

With these being among the kinder rebukes being directed at Obama, and with people becoming less intimidated by his willingness to use race as a bludgeon, with falling poll numbers in every meaningful category and an increasingly aggressive tea-party opposition – how much longer before he cracks completely?

The coming months of political life are not going to be pleasant for Obama. Possessed by a self-perceived palatine mindset, that in his mind places him above criticism, how long before he cracks in public? Can America risk a man with a documented track record of lying and misrepresenting truth as a basic way of life, who is becoming increasingly more contumelious?
