School training excercise has anti-immigration, pro-gun as villian

"An emergency drill set to take place in an Iowa school Saturday involves an “anti-immigration” pro-gun student shooting dozens of students in a racially-motivated shooting spree."

The Operation Closed Campus claims to be a simple training exercise for emergency responders and support organizations to prepare them for a possible shooting scenario. The event involves involving roughly 300 people, local police, hospitals and the Red Cross.

The scenario involves a fictitious 18-year-old senior who has become upset over national immigration policies and decides to enlist the help of some "white supremacy affiliates".

The bad guy is portrayed as being decidedly anti-immigration (the term is: anti illegal immigration) and his family "is known to be firearm enthusiasts, if not fanatics” For the record, a "firearm fanatic" is anyone who owns a firearm, according to these folks. Does that mean the military and police are firearm fanatics?

The scenario goes on to have our anti-immigration firearm fanatic “blurting racial slurs and that he is tired of them moving in and stealing jobs and money from Americans” then “pulls a handgun from his waistband, shooting one of the minority students.”

"A 17-year-old friend of the shooter then joins him in "firing upon anyone in their path and chasing down anyone who is against their ill-perceived stand,” the plan says."

How cliche can we get with this folks? It's a rhetorical question. I've learned that the ignorance of these folks is boundless.

Kevin Elwood, superintendent of Treynor Community Schools, says the exercise was only constructed for the purpose of securing Department of Homeland Security Grant funding, which requires the drill simulate a terrorism scenario. Really? Well let's try this scenario on for size and see how it flies:

The scenario would be a bunch of illegal Mexican gang-bangers are upset over some Anglos opposing an influx of violence in their community.

The gang-bangers come to the school and begin shouting racial slurs at the Anglos and eventually pull handguns out of their waste bands and begin shooting everyone they can while shouting, "Viva la Mexico!"

How long do you think it would take for AZ Rep Raul Grijalva, Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton to join the fight? How long would it be before Geraldo Rivera would be sensationalizing the exploitation of portraying illegals, sorry, undocumented workers, in a bad light?

Let me be clear, I have no problem with folks immigrating to America, Mexican or otherwise, so long as they come here legally, want to be here and are productive citizens who obey the law and aren't rambling about how we need to adapt to their culture, instead of the other way around. If you love your country; fine. Stay there and work to change things in your country. American is my country and if I prefer your country I'll move their and embrace your culture.

Portraying decent gun owners or people who oppose illegal immigration as domestic terrorists is unconscionable and should be exposed and fought.

WAIT! STOP THE PRESS! I've had a half hour to think on this and have decided to re-write my scenario. In an effort to celebrate diversity and make the scenario as inclusive as possible I've changed it to the following:

A black trans-gender, upset over never having been to Africa purchases a Chinese-made handgun from a Muslim terroist they met at an anti-tea party rally. They then drive their Eco-friendly Prios, running on fuel purchased from Venezuela to the school, while trying to sext on their cell phone and load Russian made ammo into their Chinese made hand gun at the same time. Realizing they haven't had their Starbucks coffee with extra caffeine the shooter goes across the street from the street (Casa de Kaka) to get a strong caffeine-laced coffee.

While at Starbucks the shooter gets into a conversation with a patron over the misuse of handicap stickers.

Being even more enraged, now, the shooter goes back to the other side of Casa de Kaka, pulls out the Chinese made handgun with the Russian made ammo and begins firing while rambling something about finding out they really aren't African at all, but Dutch. Did I miss anyone?

Or, we can just go with something more realistic. How 'bout a whack job of your own nationality choosing who is just pissed off at the world and would shoot you over anything. You know, like the one who shot Congressman Gabby Giffords and 12 others?

Contrary to efforts from moron-extraordinaire sheriff Clarence Dupnik to portray the shooter about like the Iowa school scenario does, the shooter had no interest in right wing politics, talk radio, Sarah Palin, the Pope, soggy corn flakes or anything else. He's a whack-job who would probably be set off because he didn't like the color of your shoes. I'm bored of having gun owners or people opposed to illegal immigration portrayed as being extremists.

Union compares MLK fight for sanitation worker's rights

The lengths the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) will go to seems to be boundless.

In a recent email to AFGE members the AFGE president, John Gage tells us of Dr. Marin Luther King being assasinated on April 4, 1968 while going to stand with sanitation workers "demanding their dream".

A few years ago I told my local AFGE union representaive that I wanted the form to quit AFGE. He asked why. I told him I was tired of my union dues going to only liberal candidates like Obama. I went on to explain that the union never supports conservative candidates. He said, "Well, we have to go with who is best for us." I told him to explain who "us" was. I told him the "us" he referred to was him and his fellow union hierarchy going to Hawaii each year on our dues money.

I told him that candidates like Obama have a socialist agenda. He replied, "What's wrong with that!" Nuff said.

In Geraldo Rivera's latest offering of non-sensical giberish he opines the influx of Mexican population into the U.S. can be likened to the Irish coming to America in 1847, following the potato famine.

According to Geraldo, "I argue the transformation will help renew and replenish the country." Really? With what? Contrary to our twit Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, the borders are NOT safer than ever before. I know that for a fact. It isn't conjecture or racisct speculation; I live about 85 miles from the Mexican border and see the stories in the local newspaper on a daily basis.

Each morning starts with me reading the news or witnessing it first hand. I can systimatically show where murder, rape, kidnappings and drug arrests have dramatically increased in a matter of just a few years. I also file these newspaper reports and can show you that about 3 out of 4 times it involves someone with a Mexican surname. I can also show where many times an illegal (no, I didn't say the politically correct term of, 'undocumented workers')Mexican national was involed gets 3-5 years for murdering someone while at the same time a non-latino gets sentenced to 20+ years for armed robbery. That isn't racism or speculation -- that's a fact.

We also know that illegals routinely vote in elections and they vote for Democrats. Again, that has been documented and isn't a baseless claim on my part. It's not surprising that Democrats trying to get elected will do whatever it takes to get elected -- even if it involves harming the country to that end result.

Another fact Gerlado neglects to mention is the Irish wanted to be in this country, didn't demand preferential treatment and didn't fly Irish flags on top of a U.S. flag displayed below it upside down. The Irish weren't trying to turn America into Ireland on welfare.

Wake up, folks. There is a correct way of immigrating into America and those who are not willing to go that path are looking for amnesty after breaking the law. Those who come here legally WANT to be here and WANT to contribute to the betterment of American -- not its demise and exploitation.

Ah, once again we have those folks who like to throw Frisbees for Peace and show up in their beige Volvo with their, ‘Yes we can’ bumper stickers, wearing their earth-tone colored clothes and sandals over their socks, telling us they are promoting peace and tranquility through bull crap.

"The best part is just going around and seeing all of the people who are active, who are making a difference in Tucson, who are making a better future for peace and for justice," said organizer, Joe Bernick. Tell me, Joe, what can you point to that indicates to you that your actions have promoted peace and justice? Peace is not merely defined as the absence of war. The Jews were at peace with Nazi Germany. Of course the Nazis were slaughtering them and torturing them because they had no way to defend themselves. As an aside, most Jews felt registering their firearms was pretty innocuous. The term today is, ‘reasonable gun laws’ and many here didn't learn from the Jews.

‘wishing upon a star’ won’t cut it, old chap and ‘justice’; well, what is your definition of justice, Joe? Are you and your ilk really that naïve or are you just dumber than a box of rocks, (no offense to those rock collectors out there who read my blog)? I would ask Joe, other than rhetorically, but I’m terrified of what his definition might be.

I’m sure it involves all of those evil capitalists turning over their profits they worked for to you and your friends to build communes where we can all sit by the campfire and sing, Michael rowed the boat ashore – right after they throw their Frisbees in hopes that whoever our enemy de jour would be at that time, would not kill them or torture their family members.

The fair claims "We may never have complete peace, but we may have less war, and we may never eliminate crime, but we can have less crime. It's all about making a better world." I ask again, Joe, what can you point to that would indicate your activities are helping to achieve that goal? Take your time, I’ll wait. Joe and his band of misfits are the type of folks who believe the only way to make the world better is to work toward the demise of the evil United States. Then the world would be filled with peace and harmony.

If only we could be more like 3rd world countries that are run my dictators and where rape, murder and torture are the rule of he day and where the standard of living is horrible, we could be better. Pat Birnie with the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom has attended the fair for the last 15 years told the Arizona Daily Star, "I encourage people who have never attended to come and be amazed by the variety of local groups."
Oh, trust me, Pat; I’m amazed.

Of course what would a sit-in be without the loons from Code Pink? Code Pink is an anti-war organization of mainly women who are devoted to stopping new wars and redirecting funds to aid health care, education and "green" jobs. Hummmm, “re-directing funds”, you say. And where do those funds come from? Certainly not from people who actually work for a living. Code Pink doesn’t have time to do that, in between running around the country, bad-mouthing our military men and women who protect Code Pinks’ right to be stupid. I'm certain Code pink was thrilled when that closet member, Barack Obama decided to give information about every Trident missile the US supplies to Britain to Russia as part of an arms control deal.

It may sound cliché, and certainly beyond the understanding of the Birkenstock crowd, but freedom really isn’t free and good people have died so that people like you can run around like left-over hippies from the 60’s and have your sit-ins, (fairs) and “celebrate unity, tolerance and justice today at the 29th annual Tucson Peace Fair and Music Festival.”

I am, by no stretch of the imagination, a big fan of war. I wish they would throw a war and no one show up. I'm also not inclined to run around with my head in the sand and think there aren't enemies out there who would love nothing more than to take over the U.S. It's not paranoia if they really are out to get you.

Our crack Homeland Security department, headed by the very lovely and vivacious Janet Napalitano claims border sheriffs, who actually live in the border towns effected by violence from Mexico don't know what they're talking about. I mean, who are you going to believe, Janet or your lying eyes?

reviewed the troops and accepted support from
the Nazi's in killing Jews.

Mr. Obama, where were Muslims on Sept. 11th,
2001? If they weren't flying planes into
the World Trade Center , the Pentagon or a field
in Pennsylvania killing nearly 3,000 people on
our own soil, they were rejoicing in the Middle
East . No one can dispute the pictures
shown from all parts of the Muslim world
celebrating on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and other
cable news networks that day. Strangely,
the very "moderate" Muslims who's asses you bent
over backwards to kiss in Cairo , Egypt on June
4th were stone cold silent post 9-11. To
many Americans, their silence has meant approval
for the acts of that day.




And THAT, Mr.
Obama, is the "rich heritage" Muslims have here
in America ..

forgot to mention the Barbary Pirates.

add November 5, 2009 - the slaughter of American
soldiers at Fort Hood by a Muslim major who is a
doctor and a psychiatrist who was supposed to be
counseling soldiers returning from battle in
